My family and I travel several times a year with Arajet, but this time the service was very disappointing.

Due to a mistake, I selected Punta Cana instead of Santo Domingo. Just a few hours before my flight, I only needed to use the connection bus (which is usually used by passengers without strict control). Even so, customer service showed no willingness to help.

I was left at risk of missing my flight and forced to spend unnecessary extra money, in addition to having to go through a bad night and an uncomfortable trip to Punta Cana.

There was a complete lack of empathy and flexibility, especially towards frequent customers. After this experience, I will consider flying with another airline.

Quick and easy to book. Had several pricing options to book based on my needs and travel requirements.

I saw an instagram influencer talk about how great this airline is and I have since unfollowed her because I realize what a grifter she is... that was false advertising. I opted to try this airline because it was the most cost effective but BOY do you pay for it! I booked a flight in January for an upcoming wedding and they canceled the flight 2 months later and tried to automatically book me on a flight a full day later (yeah... that's not gonna work. If you've ever been a wedding before, generally, those dates are pretty set). In a scramble, I ended up booking last minute with United which cost me double because of how last minute it was. I also contacted Arajet to confirm that I was not okay with the flight change and needed a refund. They make you jump thru hoops and hoops to get YOUR MONEY back. It is now a full 3 months since I initially purchased that flight and still have not seen a dime come back to me. They claimed I would get a refund in 20 business days which is messed up as it is. They essentially take a little loan from you and even after those 20 days, magically, no refund! I'm still dealing with customer service so between the time spent and the loan I provided them, this was NOT WORTH IT.

En mi viaje anterior con ustedes a Canadá, via Punta cana en el n autobús que nos transportó desde el aeropuerto de Las Américas, el personal no estuvo coordinado para orientar los pasajeros en el proceso. Espero que ya edo este corregido.

La compañía da un excelente servio al cliente en todo momento, la asistencia y compromiso con el cliente es de gran calidad

Normally I don’t take time to write a bad review but this air line is cheap for a reason planes out dated rattled like it’s going to fall apart. When I when to leave the Dominican republic air port said I did not pay for comfort package leaving change me $80 per bag $160 to check in what bs please please please pass this along don’t fly this air line let them go out of business like they should!!!

The worst Customer Service ever
I paid $600 for the flight and only $173 is getting return to me for the cancelation so basically they are stealing money from people
Please do not travel with this airline

me robaron mi dinero. perdí lo vuelo y no recibí ninguna ayuda 1000 dólar abajo. y te obligan a cancelar. no tienen opciones. no hay ayuda al servicio al cliente. es una estafa.

ALERTA VIAJEROS: NO VIAJEN CON ARATEJ ✈️
1️⃣ Vuelos reprogramados 4 veces
Viajé Argentina → Punta Cana → Puerto Rico → Argentina. Ninguno de los vuelos se respetó. El regreso se postergó 2 días.
2️⃣ Varados en Punta Cana 🛑
El vuelo final ya había salido, había disponibilidad ese mismo día, pero no quisieron reubicarnos. Muchos pasajeros estaban en la misma situación.
3️⃣ Tiempos de vuelo ridículos ⏳
Ida: 19 hs cuando era ~9 hs.
Regreso: 18 hs.
4️⃣ Servicio a bordo: 0 😡
Ni agua, ni comida, ni asistencia. Cero información sobre demoras.
5️⃣ Reclamos ignorados por casi 3 meses ⏳
Después de todo esto, la única “compensación” que ofrecieron fue un voucher de USD 50. Insuficiente y ridículo.
⚠️ Conclusión:
Si quieren viajar tranquilos, NO RECOMIENDO esta aerolínea

My sons luggage was lost, this happened on December 26, 2025 we had to buy clothes and other stuff for my son and still had no get anything back not phone calls not emails not nothing customer service is very mediocre and pathetic they don’t care about you at all
