This place is grubby. The fish tanks were dirty. Within the first 5 minutes we saw 4 dead fish. I just got an instant feeling of unhappiness for the poor fish and animals they have there, you can just tell they aren’t being looked after as well as they should be. The place needs a good tidy up. I seriously hope this shop is regularly assessed by the relevant animal welfare people. Won’t be visiting again.

It was my first time visiting the aquarium as I was dropping a family member off at the hospital for the day and wanted to have a look at the local fish shops. I was disappointed in the overall state of the shop. It looked quite neglected and run down. It seemed like at one time it was a great place but hadn’t kept up with the upkeep of the place in recent years. There were two staff members in a shop that needed at least four or five. They had many fish but few cichlid fish that I have interest in. I saw a display tank and It had two adult mbuma cichlids. I asked how much they were if they was for sale. The staff didn’t know and had to call someone on the phone. They said £20 for the two fish that was left. So I said I’d take them. The young girl working there did a good job catching them. But put them in a massive sack of water that I could hardly carry. I paid and went to the car. As we got round the corner I stopped to check the fish and half the water had leaked out the bag.I had to rush back to the fish shop and asked them to re-bag the fish. I got them home eventually and put them in the tank. I noticed one didn’t seem too good. It had scales missing and seemed ill. Less than 24hours later one of them are dead at bottom of my tank and I now think that they may of knew something was up and kept quiet selling them me cheap to get rid of them as usually one of these fish alone is at least £30 to £40 each. It’s a shame because with the right people this could be a brilliant shop.

If I can give these a 0 I would I bought live baby brine shrimp off them and payed postage they arrived next day and was dead I emailed them with no response so took it to PayPal and they won't get my money back please stay away from this place scammers at the best

Bought two rabbits from here in Nov 2020, sadly despite spending hundreds on vets and medication one sadly passed away, vet seems to think inbreeding which is very common in pet store animals, either adopt or buy from a reputable breeder and not a pet shop who only cares about pounds in his pockets.

listen to the other MANY reviews here with the same experiences! Avoid avoid avoid. live food deliveries arrive mostly dead, leaking, unhealthy and even after many telephone calls and verbal assurances that they would take care of it - dead silence, no refunds, no communication, no replacement.
I'd received one great delivery, so when the second arrived 80% dead, I assumed it was a fluke and even while waiting for the company to respond, ordered again... again everything arrived dead and already rotting! must have been dead when they mailed it. Total shysters.

Awful I placed my first order with them the box arrived in a Royal Mail plastic bag because the live food was packed poorly and had burst in transit and leaked everywhere. Emailed as soon as it happened with pictures and they didn’t respond no one even apologised let alone sent replacements never again will I buy from them. Avoid bad customer service well in fact none in my case and poor quality live food well smashed to pieces in my case.

Ordered two packs of live bloodworms on Jan 14th - dispatched 20th, arrived dead. Upon opening to confirm, the pack smelt foul - no reviving with a little warmth! No use as our Newts will not accept dead worms, either hand fed or released into the tank. Disappointed.

Follow up for refund resulted in an email asking not to review and to supply photos of dead worms. Would not accept my word!

Ordered live boodworms and daphnia, arrived two days after (ordered 5pm Thursday, arrived Saturday). In good condition and fair price. Happy with the purchase.

Do not order anything from this website.Disgusting service I just read the other reviews I was treated the same I ordered some live snails they all turned up dead when I contacted them I have just been ignored snails are no good to me dead not for the price I paid for them

Ordered from his web site a trio of Guppies. Took precaution of specifically asking him if illustration shown of fairly large Delta platinum tail was what I would receive. He stated Yes. In fact after paying him £29.99 + delivery £19.99 the male was a rounded tail, which is offered in Maidenhead for £2.50.
He then attempted to 'claim' that it is clearly so stated on his web site. It is not, and had he told me I might get a different variant, would never have bought .

Order a dog toy. Arrived afer one month and damaged. Clearly crasked prior to being packaged as the outside box was in perfect condition (even though it has apparently ben in the sourier system for 30 days!). I have emailed, used their webform, provided photos, tried calling many times and now I have had to contact my payment provider to retrieve my money.

Not once has anyonce replied. I also have proof they have opened my messages as they requested access to the photos I sent them via Google Drive.

Horrendous, unprofessional comany with zero customer service.
