I visited the AE Natural Meats farm yesterday, June 16, 1026. I'm just horrified. I haven't experienced such shock and disappointment in a long time. This was my first visit to a meat farm in Canada. I couldn't even imagine that the owners could sell products of such terrible quality. But firstly, all the meat is frozen and, judging by its condition, I can tell it has been stored in the refrigerator for several years. Secondly, it is stored in improper packaging and is not sealed. Thirdly, the sausages we got were inedible. They tasted like they had no meat at all, and were made of some finely ground substance. The pork we bought was supposed to be boneless. Not only was half the piece a huge bone, but it was also a male pig (boar), which was inedible due to its pungent, unpleasant odor. I spent almost $400 on all of this (not counting the cost of gasoline) and threw it all in the trash. I also bought ribs and minced meat... I don't even know whether I should defrost it all or throw it away right away. I'm so upset I want to cry. Wasted time, wasted money, and all for nothing.

When I asked for details about the quality/sourcing of products they didn't know the answers and didn't seem willing to find them which was not very reassuring (basic info like if the meat is grassfed/finished).

The meat quality is good, but the communication is not. Took a long time to hear from them, to confirm order and to deliver.

I had to call 3 times to confirm my order and someone told me they would call me to confirm my orders but they didn’t.

When I ordered it is on pound when I went to get my order it was by Kg.

I ordered including delivery but I didn’t get any response.

I had to wait for an hour to get my order because the person who was at the store prioritized other customers.

I didn’t get body parts of the lamb.

Its been a week since I placed my online order and I do not have any confirmation that my order was recieved. This review was the first message. As such I went ahead and bought a prime rib at the grocery store because I did not know if I would have the one I ordered. I will await a reply to see if my order was received and when I might be able to pick it up.

Really good quality meat

I ordered a whole lamb online. Cuts were exactly as described and fresh not frozen.

Prices are great and always prepared as per request.

I ordered online. I am working out of town on the edge of cell service so i cant reliably recieve calls. I called your notre dame store to see when i could pick up the order. They couldnt tell me if the order was ready and someone would have to call me back. I tried to explain that i cant recieve calls so calling me back isnt an option. Next day i tried calling again and got the same answer. 3rd day i called and was told the same thing again so i got annoyed and asked them why cant they just tell me if my order is ready. He asked what my order was and i told him 20lb lean ground beef. he said is that all. You can pick it up tomorrow. Unfortunately it seems to get harder to deal with your company everytime i try so i think i just have to give up and not deal with you anymore.

Had my order ready(phoned in) in minutes and ready for courier to bring out to Portage. Very pleased. Will order again.
