Ive been using the light box for almost 3 weeks and can def. say it has helped me wake up earlier naturally before my alarm clock. The only thing im not crazy about is the double cord required to plug in and attatch. Its just cumbersome and sometimes gets disconnected when I move the light to a different angle.

Within a week, I was a new woman.
The cheap knockoffs don’t work. Spend the $200 or so and get a lamp from Alaska Northern Lights. You can sit in your armchair and read, knit, scroll, whatever - and have the light on a side table. The key is the brightness vs distance from the light - many cheap knockoffs claim to be as bright but you have to stay only 8 inches from the device - which is pretty impossible for most people to do for 30 minutes! The light I got from Alaska Northern allows me to do normal distance things and still get benefits from the light therapy.

The service was great. The product was as advertised, the packaging perfect, the shipping spot on, and the item came in without any damage. I would buy from this company again.

I ordered new bulbs for my lamp and they’re obviously weaker than the old ones that came originally. I emailed company with photos, asking for a refund. Have not received any response.

I got the North Star 10,000. Good reviews online and nice product in real life. One bulb came broken which ANL is in the process of replacing; will update with a full product review once it arrives

My light box has been working beautifully and consistently since I purchased it. I am very grateful as I had purchased a cheaper version on Amazon and that one died after 30 days. This one seems sturdier and better made. I hope I can continue to use it for years to come. So far, very grateful! Thank you!

I was extremely impressed over how fast I received my order! This item was a last minute purchase for a Christmas gift and I was afraid I wouldn't receive it in time for Christmas. I received the North Star 10,000 but it had broken bulbs. I wrote that in the original review and they shipped me new lights. Awesome company!!!!

Light is very effective, sleek and silent, easy to use one button toggle for on/off and three intensity levels. Produced at least 10,000 lux at 30 inches, better than anything on the market that I could find. (Other SAD lights don’t disclose the inches/distance capacity of lamp, some you have to hold 6 inches from your face- not practical). I leave this one on my night stand to glow while I have my morning coffee.

I love that they stand behind their products and that I can still get support and replacement bulbs for a light box that is probably 10 or 15 years old.

I would look nowhere else for a therapy light. My life is much improved daily by the time I spend in front of my light!

Like size and weight of LED version

This is a GREAT product. I say that having decades of experience using a variety of light devices for SAD. My symptoms of SAD are greatly diminished with it’s use, most notable is an increase in energy and motivation throughout the day. I received the unit in perfect condition in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend it.
