Exchanged a large amount for a business trip. Felt safe and the staff counted everything in front of me. Only issue was the machine had a small glitch, so it took extra time. Overall, satisfied.

They are the worst service provider…

They are the worst service provider ever. Don’t you ever deal with them as they are going to rip all your money and will try to keep you idle without processing anything.
Don’t do the traveler card with them as it will cost you more than spending with local card.

I don’t recommend dealing with them ever.
That is why they don’t even reply to any of the below negative feedback. And it shows how their customer service is.

Very bad service received from the…

Very bad service received from the staff. I was told that if i dont use the Travel card for 1 year it will get cancelled automatically without getting charged Dormancy fee. now I am getting charged this fee of 25 aed for no fault of mine. I wrote an email to them and they are not helpful at all. I would never recommend anyone take the travel card from them as the staff is very unhelpful and provide incorrect information.

Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Mishandling of Bank Transfer

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent experience at your BurJuman Ansari Exchange branch.(Shop no. R40.2)

I faced significant issues while attempting to process an international bank transfer. It appeared that the staff were not fully aware of the correct procedures and protocols for transferring funds from the UAE to another country. As a result, my transaction was delayed for over a week, causing me considerable inconvenience and financial loss, including penalties on a loan due to the delayed deposit.

I would also like to highlight my interaction with the shift in charge, Christian. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue constructively, he displayed an unprofessional attitude and was unwilling to listen to my concerns. He did not acknowledge the mistake made by his junior staff and was dismissive throughout the conversation.

While I understand that mistakes can happen, it is the responsibility of the team—especially senior staff—to handle such situations with professionalism, accountability, and respect toward customers. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and it reflects poorly on customer service standards.

I request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that staff are properly trained and that customers are treated with respect and professionalism in the future.

Poor Experience

My mother is elderly, and she went twice to the Alharam branch in Aleppo, but they refused to give her the $100 because her father’s name was not included exactly in the receiver’s name. This is extremely frustrating—why isn’t this requirement clearly stated in the app before sending the money?

Because of this experience, I’m considering removing the Ansari app and no longer using your services. This has been a very poor experience. I also had to pay 10 AED just to request a name correction, and even after a full day, it still hasn’t been updated.

Overall, this has been very disappointing, and I am seriously considering leaving a one-star review and filing a complaint.

I am very disappointed with the service…

I am very disappointed with the service of Al Ansari Exchange. I sent money to my family, but they still have not received the transfer. I contacted customer service several times, but I did not receive a proper response or clear explanation about the delay. This situation is very stressful because the money is urgent for my family. I hope Al Ansari Exchange improves their customer support and resolves such issues quickly for customers.

It is a pathetic and bureaucratic set up. I sent cash pick up on Monday. First, they ask for more information. Then it never confirmed its status. On inquiry they said to pick it up. When their vendor was approached, he refused to release the money. today when I followed up, they were asking for more information as if we have no work to do? now I asked for refund and they want picture of both sides of my debit card so it can be used for fraud??
I will never use them??

Very poor exchange rates and disappointing service.
The customer service agents are rude and unhelpful, with an attitude of “take it or leave it.” There is no effort to retain customers or provide solutions. In such a competitive market, many other exchange houses offer far better rates and genuinely helpful service. Unfortunately, Al Ansari Exchange does not meet those standards.

I want to express my gratitude to Mohammad Tarik from the Al Ansari Jebel Ali branch. My friend, who couldn’t explain the reason behind receiving a flexible pay card, was struggling to do so. When I spoke with Mohammad on the phone, I explained the situation to him, and he immediately assisted my friend. Thank you, Mohammad, for listening to your customer and providing your help despite the branch’s impending closure. May God bless you and continue your excellent work.

Do not use this company whatsoever.

Tried transfering money. They took it from my account and it vanished saying they would return it in 7 days.
I was emailing them back and forth all afternoon and asked me to bear with them. I sent money through another exchange.

A week later, no sign of my money and they told me they sent it later that day without my authority. Even though i sent through another company.

Now they're ignoring my calls saying its not their problem.

This is really disappointing that I am regular customer service of al Al Ansari Exchnage and deposited money to my own account last Friday on 7 Nov 2025 and till now I have not received the amount in my account yet, even one of my friend visited al Al Ansari exchange in sonapur but didn't even speak up which is really bad customer service. At least they can assist the customer when the visit the branch and seek for assistance. However I am still following on my transaction.
