Great delivery by Victor today. Called in advance to check I was in and even carried the box from the van into my house. Called in advance to let me know he and his colleague were half an hour away. Good email comms and texts from AIT. Not had a delivery from you guys before but I was really impressed to the point I wanted to find a site to leave you a review. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
I paid an extra £35 for delivery before 10am, only to receive no communication until after 11am, when I was told my delivery would arrive between 11:53am and 1:53pm. Customer services admitted the service wasn’t guaranteed, despite the additional fee, and offered no meaningful solution or reimbursement.
I had taken the morning off work specifically for the delivery and lost a full day’s earnings as a result. My delivery then arrived after 2pm, over two hours later than the time I had paid for.
To make matters worse, the drivers couldn’t even locate my sofa on the van. I was left waiting around 20 minutes with no information, followed by another 45 minutes while they contacted the depot. My dogs were shut away and distressed throughout all of this.
An absolutely appalling experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this delivery company to anyone and will certainly think twice before using them again.
