Great service from start to finnish! *UPDATED*
I contacted Airmed in early April 2026 and from the first spoken contact the team have been consistently friendly and helpful both over the phone and through email. The process was quick, but not rushed, it would have been even faster if I had a current Summary Care Report from day 1! The appointment with the doctor was professional, but approachable, very similar to talking to most GP's only with more focus on how you can benefit from the treatment if approved. All of this for what is essentially a free service is very impressive and I'm more than satisfied being their customer.

Whilst my first prescription went well, the same can't be said for the second. I had my 1 month review where the Dr agreed to double my allowance and write a prescription for the new amount, however the prescription was not updated, so I called Airmed who told me to pay for this order and then request the remainder myself, I did this only for the Dr to refuse my request as a duplicate. I called the pharmacy to explain what had happened and they told me they would look into it, the next day I received a new request for payment, this time for the full amount, this was paid straight away and I have been waiting and waiting for an update, but nothing came through. I called the pharmacy today to ask what was going on and they told me their pharmacist was on leave and they have someone in to cover for them this Friday, but because it has been so long since my order was made, they now don't think they have enough stock and may have to redo the prescription which is incredible frustrating. The soonest they can possibly provide me with the medicine is 10 days post ordering, which is downright poor service, especially considering nobody from either Airmed or the pharmacy made contact to let me know there would be delays, surely it wouldn't have been too much trouble to send a quick email to everyone or even make personal calls to anyone effected? I think this area of the business needs some work as for me it has soured a previously great experience and has knocked my trust in Airmed's ability to deliver on their service.

To be fair to Airmed and the pharmacy, since being made aware of my issues with the recent prescription, they have been very helpful and forthcoming with updates, I'm now expecting delivery tomorrow. It seems like this was just a one off, but still it serves as a good case for them to learn for and be a little bit more on the ball when it comes to updating patients of any delays they may expect.
