Attention Ferrari 250 GTO owners!
Two different versions of the main body were delivered. One is made entirely of metal, the other of a metal/plastic hybrid construction at the rear (recognizable by four holes in the exhaust area). This latter version is prone to irreparable cracking. The metal version is simply poorly manufactured. Considering the high price of the kits, this is absolutely unacceptable!

Beware: Defective Product and No Support (Agora Models)
I am posting this follow-up review as Agora Models has failed to respond to my formal complaint.
This concerns a €2,600 limited-edition Ferrari 250 GTO Blu Genziana model kit that developed a crack in the car body after assembly caused by a clear material defect.
I have also received multiple reports from the model building community indicating that this issue affects not only the Blu Genzianan limited edition, but also the red version of the kit.
Customer service has made no meaningful attempt to resolve the issue, instead closing the matter by stating that the model is a limited edition, sold out, and that nothing further can be done.
Potential buyers should be aware of the risk of material defects and the apparent lack of effective after-sales support.

To date I have purchased 3 Agora models. The Bismarck, the Corvette limited edition & the LaFerrari limited edition. I have found them all to be high quality and customer service is above average. I was about to order the Bond Die another day Aston Martin until I saw the price. There was a $500 increase since the last 1 I bought. A 25% increase is quite steep for a product that was already quite pricey. I’m sorry to say that I won’t be purchasing anymore. For the average person these prices are untenable. 🫤

Materialprobleme und Kundenservice
Manche Plastikteile sind in der Verankerung zu labil und passen zum Teil nicht in Metallkomponente (z.B. Zündkerzen und brechen dann ab. Die Türen der Corvette wackeln in der Halterung. Das Frontglas hat eine zu hohe Spannung, so dass die Schrauben zum Teil nicht gehalten haben. Der Kundendienst ist gut. Allerdings kam es bei der Zusendung eines Ersatzteils zu Schwierigkeiten mit der Zollbehörde, da das Ersatzteil nicht genau spezifiziert wurde. Ansonsten ist das Modell schön; aber der doch hohe Kaufpreis würde eine einwandfreiere Qualität erfordern.

I managed to break a couple of parts…
I managed to break a couple of parts whilst weathering the fabulous Orca model and the service team were very quick to respond and let me know how to buy the replacements that I needed.
Also, the model is going together really well (builder notwithstanding) and I'm enjoying it very much.

T800 TERMINATOR BELLO QUANTO PROGETTATO MALE
E' da oltre 2 anni che proseguo nel assemblaggio di questo modello e durante la sua realizzazione sono stati fatti parecchi errori ,a mio avviso intollerabili visto considerando il suo prezzo finale oltre 1500€ ,
Errori tanto gravi da chiedersi se il progettista e gli ingegneri che hanno realizzato questo modello abbiano la benchè minima idea su cosa hanno lavorato.
Errori di assemblaggio ,viti e perni mancanti , testa delle viti dal diametro sbagliato più piccoli che non permettevano il fissaggio dei componenti , il kit fornito durante il montaggio del modello praticamente alla fine della sua costruzione , non contiene un cacciavite , nemmeno uno adatto alla tipologia di viti , un taglio a croce facilissimo da spanare nello sforzo di avvitare le viti , queste serrate e tutte solo grazie ad un cacciavite trovato casualmente su Amazon con cui ho stretto tutte le viti , un giorno il modello mi è rimasto letteralmente in mano .
Errori di progettazione , i supporti dietro alla schiena a cui vanno fissati i gli snodi delle spalla come da istruzione vanno incollati ,si tratta componenti soggetti a torsioni forti e nessuna colla è in grado di sopportare il movimento andava previsto il fissaggio con viti , in particolare la coppia dello snodo dietro al collo è stato pensato per la rotazione della testa tramite dei perni a sfera, ma progettato male si sono spezzati entrambi come si è tentato l'inserimento la sede in cui vanno inseriti ha il diametro sbagliato troppo piccolo e le sfere troppo grandi,sono decimi di millimetro? sono comunque troppi!
SVISTE INTOLLERABILI PER IL VALORE FINALE DEL MODELLO .
E per concludere, il circuito stampato da fissare al interno della testa per il movimento di occhi e bocca , uno spinotto del circuito mi è rimasto in mano come inserito il suo innesto,staccandosi dal circuito questo vanificherà sicuramente il funzionamento del intera elettronica .
QUINDI ERRORI GRAVISSIMI NELLA MINUTERIA, COMPONENTISTICA E ELETTRONICA DEL MODELLO , errori generali che rovinano l'attività di modellismo per la superficialità dimostrata .
La mia esperienza è stata negativa per tutti i motivi elencati e sconsiglio questo fornitore di modellismo !
In data odierna 01/04/2026 Agorà Models mi ha risposto,quello che non ho potuto specificare è che questo modello è stato in abbonamento TERMINATOR N° 0212952338001 - tramite Hachette ,ma non dovrebbe fare alcuna differenza ,l'oggetto è vostro!
