I recently dealt with Advantage Finance and couldn't be happier with the service I received. Hollie was outstanding from start to finish. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs.

We have only had our car since 31st March. The vehicle cost £18,000 after our part-exchange, and despite everything we have paid, we have made virtually no progress in reducing the finance balance.

We put down a £1,900 deposit through our trade-in, followed by four monthly payments of £530 (£2,120). In total, we have paid £4,020 since April, yet the vast majority of this has gone towards interest rather than reducing the capital. It is nothing short of disgraceful.

We have now had to sell the car because the monthly payments have become completely unaffordable. I seriously question how we were ever approved for this finance agreement in the first place, given our financial circumstances. It appears affordability checks were either inadequate or ignored.

To make matters worse, we are now being told we may still have to pay a further £1,100 just to end the agreement. After everything we have already paid, this is completely unacceptable.

I feel we have been taken advantage of from the outset. This entire experience has caused unnecessary financial hardship and stress. A formal complaint has been submitted, and I will also be escalating this matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service and seeking independent legal advice. Companies should not be allowed to profit by placing customers into finance agreements that are clearly unaffordable.

I am absolutely disgusted by the way we have been treated. I would strongly urge anyone considering using this company to think very carefully before doing so.

Trying to understanding my situation and the comforting words I recieved at the end of the conversation, they gave me strength and comfort. She also gave me links where I can get some help if I need them.

I PURCHASED A CAR THROUGH ADVANTAGE FINANCE . THE CAR HAD FAULTS WITHIN THE FIRST FEW MONTHS WHICH I HAD FIXED AS THE DEALER DIDNT WANT TO KNOW AND I FOUND OUT THROUGH THE AA THAT THE DEALER HAD CANCELLED MY FREE 3 MONTHS WARRANTY. I UPDATED THIS TO ADVANTAGE FINANCE BUT THEY WERE NOT INTERETSED IT WAS DOWN TO MYSELF TO CHASE IN WHICH I HAD NO LUCK .
THEN AFTER 7 MONTHS THE CAR HAS BIG ISSUES AND WILL NOT RUN. IT WILL COST THOUSANDS OF POUNDS TO FIX IN WHICH THE DEALER AND ADVANTAGE FINANCE BOTH REFUSE TO HELP .
TERRIBLE SERVICE AND OF NO HELP WHATSOEVER
