I am with the RAC. When my car broke down, I contacted them and started getting messages about when they expected to reach me. These varied enormously. After about 6 hours, I cancelled the call and phoned R2R who came straight away, quickly put the car on their truck, took it to the repair garage, then took me home. R2R were cheerful, friendly and efficient.

Received a call from 01200409426 , agent was fishing for information regarding any accidents I had in the past 2 years. Luckily this did not apply to me but I kept the guy talking. I asked which company he works for and he gave me this name. I asked how he received my details , he told me they look through the MIB database and call car owners to fish for information.

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE TIME OF DAY
I work within the motor insurance industry and we get calls regarding these scams all the time.

I received several calls from them asking if I remembered the accident. There was no such thing that occurred. Don't give them any information, please. It is a Scam

It's a scam company, do not under any circumstances give them any personal details, all they have is your phone number but they will ask you for name, address etc when they call you. It's a scam, just hang up and block them immediately.

Scam accident management company.

They called me twice unsolicited, standard "you were a victim of an accident" when none happened. Report and block all numbers. Read the other GENUINE reviews.

Should have read the reviews below before letting this accident management company take my vehicle away I have absolutely no idea where it is can someone please advise?

I can no longer seem to be able to contact them over my vehicle that’s stuck at a local recovery yard. Wondering if anyone else is having the same problem? I’m on hold for 45 mins plus very dissatisfied.

I spoke to a lady called Claire who took my original phone call and sounded like she wanted to hang herself throughout the entire phone call. She spoke like she didn’t work their or at least didn’t want anyone to call her, I was so confused with the process and how it all works I think she just took her anger out on me because I don’t understand the process. I can no longer get in contact with this company despite my vehicle being at a local recovery yard who say they need road to recovery’s approval for release. -1 out of 5 if I could.

Spoke to a gentleman named Cole Metcalfe and at first he sounded relatively assuring, he advised to myself I was through to Admiral and he would book a recovery truck to attend to collect myself from the Jet garage near Brompton Lane in Surrey after a horrific accident that I hold my hands up to being the at fault party. Needless to say I heard Cole on several occasions at the other end snorting very loudly, wether that was down to a cold or other substances i don’t know but he sounded really jumped up every-time I had a question in respect to the process of the claim, I asked him several times if this was Admiral Insurance and he assured me i was through to them, to later find out i was actually through to an accident management company, due to the incident being my fault and because the accident management company never advised Admiral of my incident, I was charged £500 excess rather than £300. When I got onto Cole at Road to recovery, I persistently called constantly asking why they didn’t report this incident to my own insurance, I spoke to Cole Metcalfe, who was as useful as a chocolate covered teapot, honestly this has been the most inconvenient traumatic experience of my life, and to Cole Metcalfe who ‘managed’ my incident from the start I hope you go ‘F*** your self too’ - I will be reporting you to the FCA!!!

Received a call from this so called company a Manchester number 0161 8189917, saying I was involved in an accident in the past two years, well I haven't. It is possible they call themselves 'road to recovery solicitors' An Indian accent calling herself Sara Vincent. She hung up when I asked her full details and did not call back. Hopefully trading standards are investigating....

This company has just called me out of the blue, saying they were representing the insurance company of the other party, however they said the wrong company when I asked the name of the company. They then talked about my injuries and 'pain'. I said there hadn't been any injuries or pain. They then said they wanted to verify the details of the accident, which were provided to them by the insurance company. I asked them what details they had and they said the accident was in 2021 - wrong again! They then said I had to give them the details . . . Don't trust this company.

Every time I called road to recovery during my claim, their staff seem to have minimal knowledge of how a claim is actually run, the staff have also been very slow and unhelpful throughout the process.

Just had a call from these people, about a road traffic accident in the last 18 months in London, asked them what car registration this accident was in reference too and the woman on the phone said she'd check my file, it went quiet and she hung up. Ignore these calls and block them

AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY HAVE NEVER PAID OUR GARAGE INVOICES ON TIME IN THE LAST 4 MONTHS, WE WILL BE DECLINING ALL FUTURE JOBS!!!

So I called the wrong company after a road traffic incident who I later found out was a company called Nationwide Vehicle Hire, however I was provided Road To Recovery’s number to discuss my claim, I wanted an update on my hire vehicle, however the girl I spoke to seemed as if I was speaking a different language, she had no idea what was a going on with the hire vehicle and it was almost like I was speaking a different language.

Spoke to two employees ‘Adam’ and ‘Charlotte’, they both didn’t seem to have an understanding of how my claim was progressing and they both said on numerous occasions that they needed to speak to their boss, Charlotte has advised me on numerous occasions that she will ask her boss several times now and get back to me however no effort has been made to contact me, extremely poor lack of communication. Customer services need drastic improvement.

I had an accident yesterday and through my own fault i called the wrong insurance company. I was falsely was mislead by a company who I found out later were called ‘Nationwide’ and I believed I was through to Ageas my insurance. I was told by the repairing garage that Road to Recovery would be dealing with my claim, another company who has no association with my Insurance! I spoke to a man named ‘Adam’ and when I told him I wanted my own insurance to deal with the claim he advised me to call Nationwide to confirm, he then put the phone down or at least he thought he did however I was still on the other end of the line and I could hear him call me a ‘Stupid B**tard’. I will be making a complaint and reporting you to your line manager, UNBELIEVABLE.

Similar to the review below, I have submitted my invoices for payment in the past and they never get paid, I get told it’s the owner ‘Claire Hoyle’ who needs to make the payment, I once called through to the office to speak with a guy called ‘Adam’ who told me that it was a director I would need to talk to and he put me through to ‘Ricky’ who advised he personally couldn’t make the payment, what sort of shambles setup is it when the main director has zero authority. Nightmare Company!

In fairness to Road To Recovery they aren’t bad when it comes to providing us with jobs however they don’t pay any of my invoices on time EVER and when I mean on time we never get paid for at least 6 months minimum which is totally unacceptable considering it’s us doing the work, your account is now on hold with us, really disappointing.
