I have been watching the free webinars from ACAS recently, and they are very informative. They serve a good purpose. Attendees can then choose to attend full (paid) training, after gaining an insight on various topics, through these free webinars.

This was a well organised and informative session. The brevity was appreciated as key points immediately stood out.

The webinar on Managing a Fair Disciplinary Procedure was very useful, clearly set out and with the useful option of being able to type questions and receive answers from ACAS, all of which were available to copy and save, together with the slideshow presentation.

I found the webinar very informative and supports me in my role.

The webinar was punctual, ran smoothly, had plentiful resources, 'live' Q&A - all in all, excellent!

I found this an informative the steps of the disciplinary process clearly explained. The handouts are also extremely helpful.

very clear, to the point session with good information, accessible resources, case study and clarifying questions in real time to apply to our own context. and all executed in just 30 mins. excellent.

Great seminar, very informative and easy to follow

The training was completely outdated - I attended a similar training course 3 or so years ago and nothing has changed. The trainer was robotic and mechanical in her delivery and was unable to answer basic questions which require judgement and context. The content was very basic and did not go into any qualitative detail about was inappropriate / appropriate behaviour might be - particularly if there is any conflict between two or more protected characteristics - e.g., Women's rights / versus trans-identifying men's rights. There was nothing in there about what is on the horizon e.g., Employment Rights' Bill.

Always appreciate the content of the courses that ACAS provide.
However, given the length of todays webinar, (30 minutes), a lot of time is given at the beginning and end of the webinar on the services that ACAS provides and general information on the mechanics of the webinar. This reduces the amount of available time for the actual webinar content.
We have used different training providers for other types of content and they often have a rolling information segment which runs for 5 minutes before the session and also 5 minutes at the end. That would then maximise the time your presenters have to deliver the content. Alternatively, extending the time to 45 minutes would also be an option?

Waste of time, they don't give any advice at all as they are not trained in UK Employment law.

Just are just another WOKE nothing company who wants to collect your data to sell off.

After a wasteful 15 min chat they just say they will send you a form - which they never did.

The Carer's Leave - The Law Explained webinar was packed with relevant information for both employees and employers. It was concise and informative.

Details about the webinar were clearly explained as was navigating around the platform on joining. The subject matter was delivered in a clear and succinct way, with an opportunity to ask questions using the chat box. Links were provided for follow up/further information

The webinar was clear and simple on the law and rules. The Q&A helped with specific questions.

Webinar was clear and concise, chatbox function really helped get some live answers to holistic issues for all participants to see enabling best practice to be shared across the participants.

Easy to access Webinar with helpful advice if you were having any technical issues.

Webinar was efficient and to the point. Easy to follow with the Powerpoint slides.

I thought it was really cool to see the Question box where advisors were able to answer specific queries during the webinar.

Worth the 30 minutes :)
