AVOID AT ALL COST - I would strongly recommend avoiding this company for your vehicle warranty purposes as they refuse to pay out if you don’t send them an estimate document beforehand even though the part that went faulty is covered and the entire bill is below the covered amount so there shouldn’t be a problem. They will say it’s due to this and that but realistically you’d expect a little human error in these things and it’s not even reasonable to reject such a claim especially when total claim would be around £90 to be reimbursed to me.

I had spoken to their claims team and then they continued to reject and say we won’t be able to do this and then received a rather rudely worded email from the claims manager Louise. Millie from customer services was excellent and didn’t have a problem with her it’s just a shame the company is so strict and can’t even budge for their customers in the slightest. Especially those with reading disabilities and disabilities in general like seriously you cover up to £150 for the switch including labour yet the amount you’d cover for me is about £90 which is understandable but for a negative review on multiple platforms, a dissatisfied customer who will spread the word is really not worth it to your team.

Another note, I’ve read some of the other negative reviews on here for example Mr Edward’s and what that customer has done was completely uncalled for and disgusting so I understand reviews like that are just unfair. However in this case I’ve been lovely with the team except a little disappointed however as a customer who’s new to vehicles and warranty service given I’ve just passed my test not long ago and was gifted with a new car was lovely but this experience has just made me very wary of companies that offer warranty. It’s just really upsetting that a company like this chose one of the strangest excuses even though I meet all the checklist requirements to be covered and was happy and understanding that the limits I had, what was covered all by one simple mistake and it’s invalidated the whole thing. I just wish someone would be more understandable of customer situations rather than just not looking into what I have to say

EXTREMELY disappointed…

Dealt with Finn and Millie who made it easy to claim for a repair on my car. Communication was great and turnaround was fast. Would recommend 2020warranty.

Just like everyone, I was completely skeptical about warranty but Milly at 2020 restored my faith. The process for making a claim is straightforward and everything was handled very quickly (less than an hour) which makes it great for an old boy like me. Thank you 2020 and thank you Milly for your wonderful help.

One excuse fits all. they will turn down any claim on the simple excuse they have put into the policy 'wear and tear' This can apply to anything. i dont think they will ever pay out. useless worth of paper and now i will have to take matters against the retailer under the consumer law as its only been a month since i purchased the car.

As a dealer I had a customer who was having starting issues on their drive, called Gary our Rep... within 2 hours they had picked the car up and dropped it back to us for diagnosis.

Having had dealings with 2020 for the last 4 years, we can honestly say we have never had a problem with any claims that have, unfortunately, had to be made.
The team are knowledgable and will help whenever they can. They are always willing to answer questions no matter how trivial the question may seem.
As a dealer who has been using them within my own business and a previous business I worked for I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Great warranty company to work with really easy and straightforward would highly recommend

I was a dealer for 2020 Warranty and was looking forward to building business with the company. Unfortunately, on the one occasion I did need to claim, the service provided was woefully inadequate. Before proceeding with any repair, i followed their process to the T, and also checked with 2020 Warranty to confirm the item to be repaired was covered by the policy, to which i was assured it was. This was very important, because i had to make a decision whether my customer's vehicle was repaired or whether i replaced it. Despite assuring me before any repair was carried out that the repair was covered for the exact assumed reason it was diagnosed for, 2020 refused the claim, with no evidence to backup their reasons for 'wear and tear' and 'inherent fault'. Yet, when challenged, they couldn't evidence any public source of information a consumer or the dealer could reasonably have found this information, nor did they put any exclusions on the policy. It was absolutely clear to me they never had any intention of paying, and the loose excuses used were deliberate to get out of paying. 2020 Warranty left myself and my customer high and dry to the tune of thousands of pounds, after much delay wholly caused by themselves. This is not a level of service I can be providing to my customers and I have now ceased any relationship with the company.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service provided by 2020 Warranty. Despite submitting thorough evidence and multiple independent mechanic reports, my legitimate claim for a turbocharger failure was denied on the basis of "wear and tear."

The company's response to my claim was frustratingly slow and dismissive. They cited wear and tear and carbon build-up, even though my vehicle has been meticulously maintained with regular oil changes and services. They ignored the fact that my car is only seven years old and in good condition for its age. Moreover, they previously approved a claim for a vacuum pump without raising concerns about wear and tear.

Even after explaining that the turbo issue was diagnosed as a mechanical fault exacerbated by a well-known defect in my car's engine, they refused to reconsider. Their reliance on technicalities in their terms and conditions to avoid paying out is appalling and shows a lack of integrity.

I would strongly advise against purchasing a warranty from this company. Their lack of accountability and refusal to honor valid claims renders their coverage effectively useless. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more reliable and customer-focused warranty provider.

Not worth the paper it's written on. No help whatsoever, my mechanic rang the company who said the Lambourn sensor wasn't covered. I checked my warranty ant it was covered but me mechanic fitted it anyway and suggested I claim. They didn't want to know, no conversation nothing. I'm going to the small claims court.

Despite the faulty touchscreen not being approved prior to repair they recompensed me directly.
So very pleased with communication and service.

As a dealer they are such a breath of fresh air to deal with. Simon and the team are so professional and quick in dealing with any issues or claims.

I've been using 2020 warranty for the last two years, I have found them the most professional warranty company I have dealt with. They are very helpful and approachable to any warranty issues.

Cannot recommend this warranty company enough. I don’t understand alot about cars, and this being my first car I thought getting warranty would be a good idea… 2020 was recommended to me and I’m so pleased! I’ve had 2 claims paid out, and renewed recently because of this. Both times I had fast responses, and the team were absolutely amazing. I was not confident on my first claim, but after speaking to Millie I very quickly knew I was in great hands, wouldn’t go anywhere else! Thank you so much 2020.

I have worked with 20 20 Warranty across two businesses now since March 2020 and had the pleasure of meeting our new account manager yesterday, I have always found 20/20 to be very fair and also quick to deal with claims, Having dealt with quite a few warranty companies in my time in the motor trade I have yet to find a reason to need to look for another warranty provider.

I’ve been using 2020 since the purchase of my first car. They covered my claim in October and saved me so much hassle, Not knowing much about cars myself and it being my first car I was very stressed that I’d be off the road for a long time and be out of pocket, after contacting 2020 these concerns were put to rest. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, answered any and all questions I had with professionalism and helped me out so much. So glad my warranty company has my back and I don’t have to worry about any future issues. Honest and professional, could not recommend them any more!
