TERRIBLE SERVICE. Every time I call they are extremely rude and useless. The third operator I was just on the phone to hung up the phone on my face because he didn't know how to resolve my issue.

Confirmation that 123reg / Go Daddy are AWFUL
I just though i would check back in after my 1 star review i left previously and my word there are now lots of 1 star reviews confirming i am not the only one!! Amazon Web services are a good shout i reckon. Oh and Emma who replied to my review, doesn't exist, the email address on trust pilot doesn't go anywhere for a reply. I feel a mass exodus from 123 may be coming!! ONGOING ISSUE FOR A MONTH, JUST WANT MY EMAILS TO SYNC ON DIFFERNT DEVICES!!

The rudest customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The most attitude ridden people I have ever encountered in my life! Trying to make me pay £69 for an issue on their end. I try and call to sort it out and they hang up on me
Untrustable email and poor support
Their spam filters are causing an unknown number of emails that are being sent to me never being received and disappearing into a black hole. Support simply fob me off and blame the sender(s). Will not renew.

I regret ever letting 123Reg into my life.They are legacy personified – beyond terrible. How an outfit that provide such basic services can wreak so much havoc is amazing; we don't need bad state actors to bring down Western civilisation; just deploy 123Reg.
Terrible Customer Service
For years, I've trusted 123-reg with hosting my websites, and I've happily recommended them to others. However, my recent encounter with their customer support left me deeply disappointed and ultimately led to my decision to part ways with them.
When I reached out to inquire about my renewal price, which seemed unreasonably high, I hoped for some assistance in downgrading my package. Unfortunately, the customer support representative I spoke with seemed uninterested in helping me find a solution. Their lack of helpfulness and apparent disinterest in retaining a long-time customer was disheartening.
To make matters worse, when I asked about the timing of my hosting renewal and how much time I had to move my website, the representative abruptly ended the call without providing any information. This abrupt dismissal left me feeling undervalued as a customer and reinforced my decision to seek hosting elsewhere.
After this disappointing experience, I decided to take my business elsewhere, where I hope to find a hosting provider that values and respects its customers.
Beyond crap
Beyond crap - take my advice and avoid avoid avoid. Locked me out of my account. When I try and reset my password, it says I have no account. Help is very poor too - how are these peope still in business?

This company is, bar none, the worst company I've ever dealt with in 35 years of working in IT. Worse even than Lyca mobile, which is saying something.
They have implemented a support-wall which is impossible to get past. You will never be able to escalate anything to anyone with the ability to action or take ownership.
File an official complaint, they just don't bother responding. Their staff are supercilious on the phone and absolutely useless in their ticketing system.
They let a domain of mine expire (a month after having renewed it for a year) - my company website and email went down; they couldn't care less. It's been gone for 10 days now, their fault entirely. They claim they sent me emails but I've never received them (but have all my renewal confirmations) - I asked them, several times, to resend the emails; i have received nothing.
Their idea of customer support is to fob the customer off to someone else regardless of whether that will provide a solution or not. As long as they don't actually have to do any actual work and you are not talking to them that's all they want. It's only first line support staff who will respond (2 days for each response) who clearly lack the skills or capability of solving anything, hence they send you on your way.
Whoever runs this company should be ashamed of themselves.

emailed to advise I need to contact 123-reg about using the same email for different accounts as I would be blocked otherwise. Made contact and twice I was hung up on... once because I couldn't hear very well and once because I advised I didn't know my customer number. I did manager a great call with another rep, so can only assume the consistency of customer care is very inconsistent... Will never use them again if I have a choice...

I dealt with Radu over the course of about a week regarding payment issues and he was very helpful indeed and even came back to check that everything was resolved after I closed a ticket!

Very responsive support/accounts
Have had my issues with these guys in the past. This time support was great.
I received an email from them about domain renewal but couldn't find the domains in my control panel. Rang account queries and they answered immediately. Turns out it was on another account I'd set up to manage my wife's business domains.
The rep was able to give me access to this account which allowed me to resolve the issue. Very impressed!

Ion, on the chat, was extremely helpful personally, and gave me the information I needed.
It's a shame he works for such a shonky money-grabbing organisation. Was contacting to see if they could downgrade my hosting, because the thing they ensured me I needed to upgrade to is way more than I need(and v expensive). Also am very resentful of now having to pay for inboxes that used to be bundled with my hosting (especially as I got no help with the problem with my outgoing emails getting rejected by multiple ISPs inc. gmail, which started when they 'upgraded' my email). God knows how many clients I lost /disappointed while this was happening as it happened without any error messages back to me - I only found out by accident that it was happening.
Surprise (not), there is no way to downgrade, and would have to cancel, backup, and reload my site.
Will take the opportunity to migrate to an entirely different provider, who hopefully will have the customer-centric values which 123 had when I first used them, but lost somewhere along the way in what seems to be a drive for revenue at all costs.

Nothing really works
Nothing really works, can't send emails to gmail accounts, awful user interface, had to move from 1st gen to 2nd gen inbox and now just can't login at all.

Email forwarding nightmare
Switched to them from godaddy for email forwarding from my personal doman, and I wish I had gone somewhere else as they're now just as bad. They changed their systems, told me that I needed to delete and recreate the account, and gave conflicting information about how to do it. Wasted several hours while different support people gave different instructions, all of which turned out to be wrong. It's now working, at least until they tell me I have to change the settings again.
Disgusting company with no service standards
They've changed their log in, and locked me out of my account. When I try and reset my password, it says I have no account. I've lost all access to my emails and domains. I've given them my passport, bank statements and now they want a utility bill from an address I had 15 years ago. Disgusting pathetic company. As soon as I regain access, I'm moving away from them.
Woefully poor service
This service has gone from good to the worst since the Go Daddy takeover - do yourself a favour and steer clear. Into day 3 without access to emails in the office. No warning, no explanation, no customer service.
No one answers the phone. Support ticket may get answered the next day , only to tell you they are looking into the issue !
Incredibly Patronising Customer Service
The rudest, most condescending customer service. Seems the 123-reg assumption is if you have to ring customer service (because there is no other option available because they've locked you out of your account due to THEIR changing login process) then you're an idiot that needs to be spoken to like an idiot.
If that's how you treat people who have general queries and manners, then I'd hate to see how you react to rude customers!
