The 10web service sounds great as an option to build websites. Their AI builder works great to a point, then it is in your way as you develop your website.

Plenty of negatives however.

Constantly need to ask for the most basic of services to work. I like to crawl my site with Screaming Frog, ahrefs, and similar services. I kept having roadblocks thrown at me in the guide of 429 errors. Apparently, you have to ask to whitelist these services.

Seriously?

And, for some inexplicable reason, you now have to have the developers allow sitemaps to be created by such services as Rank Math, Yoast or other similar companies.

What is wrong with them?

A lot is wrong. You may want to steer clear of them

This is one of the most poorly designed and irresponsibly implemented website developer tools I have ever used.

The tool forcibly overwrites Elementor’s core CSS with its own “W10” system, without proper warnings, controls, or compatibility checks. This reckless behavior directly breaks layouts, causes massive CSS conflicts, and severely impacts website loading performance. Any professional developer knows that interfering with a page builder’s CSS at runtime is a fundamental design failure.

What makes the experience worse is the victim-blaming attitude of the company. Instead of acknowledging their flawed implementation, they attempt to shift responsibility onto users—as if developers are at fault for expecting a tool to not sabotage their existing framework.

This shows a clear lack of:

Technical competence

Respect for industry standards

Understanding of real-world production environments

The result is unstable websites, unpredictable behavior, slow load times, and hours of wasted troubleshooting—all caused by a tool that claims to “optimize” but does the exact opposite.

Customer support is equally disappointing: defensive, dismissive, and unwilling to take ownership of critical issues. This is not how a serious or professional software company operates.

An incompetent product backed by poor engineering decisions and a blame-the-customer mindset.
I strongly advise developers and businesses to stay away unless you are willing to risk site performance, stability, and your time.

Been billed annually even though I cancelled last year, customer service is unresponsive

The audacity of the company blaming the customers to be incompetent is certainly hilarious and frustrating at the same time.
Let me start from the beginning. Our website is fairly large, and needs speed optimization services. Thus, we subscribed to their platform.
However, they could not assist me in integrating their service with my WordPress website.
The major hiccup was their templatized replies and instructions. For that, we tried to set up a virtual meeting, but their strict 'no meeting policy' caught us off-guard.
Afterwards, they started blaming my hosting server provider regarding server restrictions. However, that was entirely vague. Their 'One-Service-Fit-For-Approach' was simply not working for our website. And they end up blaming us for being incompetent.
Shortly after their careless and failed instructions, we reached them out for a refund. But, they were cold.
I pointed out my dissatisfaction, shared feedback constructively. And their reply was epic.
They started playing the victim card! That too in their support chat!
They claimed that they are a small startup and cannot handle thousands of clients with dedicated integration assistance meetings and all. WHAT AN EXCUSE TO MAKE!
And now, they are ghosting me. Even their chatbots are not replying! Such a scam. DO NOT RECCOMEND 10Web TO ANYONE!
They are operating and scamming solely on social media, influencer marketing, and paid ads. Driving customers, but not serving at all.

it always depends from the customer service agent replying to your issues. I had 2 very good agents helping me today and another one yesterday that was not good . but in general I would recommend it.

Rapid response; quick resolution!

I have been a 10Web customer for a few years. Recently my subscription auto renewed and I noticed the charge the next day. I contacted support immediately to request a refund.

The response was a cold NO. I was told the auto renewal stands.

I understand that technically this may be within their legal terms. However, from a customer experience perspective, it was disappointing. I have had similar situations with other software companies and they refunded without issue, especially when contacted so quickly.

This was surprising given my history as a customer. It left me feeling that retention and good will are not a priority.

A sad experience overall, and one that says something about the company culture rather than just the policy.
