In reply to Viv's response to my last review, I would say that the records need to be checked and it's not as simple as 'covering your backside' with a simple reply seeming to point the finger of blame at me, or my wife.
My wife ordered my medication on my behalf and had been doing so for some time via the automated service, on this occasion it was 17th December 2021.
Nothing was heard, so my wife called on 5th January 2022 and was told this would now be marked as 'URGENT'.
Still nothing and when my wife tried to call on several occasions on 11th January was told the wait time was 10 minutes, after the 10 minutes the line goes dead. My wife's phone record shows 13 attempts to call and speak with someone.
Finally, when she made contact with someone and was explaining the situation the phone connection was lost and no attempt was made by Pharmacy2U to re-establish contact.
After I left a review that very evening (11th), my wife received a call today (12th) and the gentleman on the line told my wife the prescription had been sent to my GP. Which was a blatant lie as my wife had already contacted my GP's surgery who informed her there had been no request for this prescription.
My wife has now cancelled our accounts with Pharmacy2U as this is not the kind of service we expect, especially when it comes down to people's medication.
I suffer from anxiety & depression and the fact that I have been without my medication for some 3 weeks now us not a good thing. My GP has now got things back on track for me, thankfully.

Thank you for your further review.

I am very sorry that you have been left feeling this way. There does appear to be some discrepancies in the information you have provided and what we can see on the account; for example, you have stated that a request was submitted on the 17/12/21 (and 19/12/21 as stated when you called on the 05/01/22), but there are no corresponding request on either yours or your wife's account for the month of December.

When speaking with our customer care team on the 05/01, a request was submitted for approval with the surgery, but it was rejected by the GP as it was "too early", suggesting a prescription had already been issued. You should have received an email to advise your prescription had not been approved.

If your prescription had already been approved and sent to your local pharmacy, it suggests your nomination had been changed which would explain the issues you encountered.

I can only offer my apologies for the situation at this point. If you do need to discuss anything further, please feel free to contact our complaints team directly using the below address.

Poor service

Up until Christmas 2021 never had a problem, then my prescription was not delivered and now, 3 weeks later I am still waiting even after being told after I enquired, that it was now a PRIORITY & would be with me within 2 days - that was over a week ago now.
Will not be using again.

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for review and providing this information. I can not see that you have used our service since September 2021.

No order has been placed with us in December, only an order on the 7th January.

If you are expecting a prescription, this may have been issued locally by your surgery, please speak to your surgery, as they have not issued a prescription to us and without this we are unable to dispense any medication.

Quality and value

Always had a great service - reliable, efficient and very prompt.
Superb customer relations and great value for money as well as a wide variety of choice.
