The fitters arrived on time and were respectful of property and us, the owners. They discussed where the cabling could be run and once agreed carried out the work very efficiently and cleanly, with no mess or extraneous damage. They helped us to set up the app and explained it's features before they left. We're very happy with the whole experience.

We had an electric awning fitted over our terrace last summer and it looks fabulous and works perfectly. There was no pressure from the sales person and the price was two thousand pounds under that of another well known company for the same specification and features. The other company also used dodgy tactic of a discount if we signed a contract on the spot - we are so glad we refused and waited for Nationwide to visit us before deciding.

I regret the day we purchased our house on the Sandcastles development. We have had multiple issues including fascia boards dropping off, towel rails that do not meet NHBC standard leading to freezing bathrooms this winter, wall staining that took multiple complaints before action was taken, badly fitting doors and windows with gaps big enough to see daylight, unsupported gas flue pipes and over twenty more minor faults. At present we are still waiting for bathroom towel rails to be replaced, but no-one will give us a date when it will happen so using the bathroom continues to be a miserable experience for me and my disabled wife. If they want to contact us to apologise and actually fix the outstanding issue - not fob us off yet again with "the plumber will be in touch" - then Don Anderson the Regional Director already has our number. Don't ask me to ring "Customer Care".
EDIT Today I have received a date for the towel rails to be fitted, coincidental with Lovell's reply to the original review. The response regarding Jarvis fixing window gaps refers to blinds not being removed and two revised dates. This is incorrect, the date of 9th March was fixed over a week ago and there has been no visit cancelled due to non removal of blinds.

Regarding the draughts from the patio doors and windows, our contractor has scheduled two appointments to resolve the issue, once on the 18/02 and again today 02/03 but unfortunately, our operative was unable to proceed due to access restrictions caused by the blinds not being removed as requested. Your appointment has now been rescheduled to the 16/03.
In relation to the chrome towel rails, as discussed during the plumbing visit on the 11/02, replacement rails were agreed as the appropriate solution and we have been advised that you have a confirmed replacement date of the 09/03.
Please be assured we are taking this seriously and will continue to push for both matters to be resolved promptly.
Thank you again for your feedback, it helps us improve both our communication and service standards.
We spoke to Stuart Tate through a Teams video call regarding the process and procedure for making certain changes to our wills and he was most helpful, approachable and clear in his explanation, taking as much time as we required to ensure we understood how we should make the desired alterations and answering a number of incidental questions. We ended the appointment confident that we could make the changes and there was no charge for the consultation. Altogether a very positive experience.

The staff and manager at Pavers Scarborough store were very helpful indeed. My wife and I are very pleased with our purchases, the shoes are very comfortable, and we'll definitely be returning to buy more in future.
The engineer who serviced our gas boiler was exceptional in every respect. Polite, friendly, courteous, efficient and clear in his explanations of every aspect of the service.

As usual they failed to deliver on the due day, gave no reason and the driver didn't even say hello never mind apologise or explain why it was delivered late.

Terrific range of infrared wall panel heaters. We found exactly what we wanted, a small heater for our garden summerhouse which looks like a work of art. The cherries on top were a limited time discount and delivery ahead of time.

Everything went perfectly smoothly and we're very happy with the awning to date. The salesperson did not use any "pressure selling" techniques, unlike the well known competitor who wanted me to sign on the spot to get their " full discount". The fitting team arrived punctually, left the site spotless and gave a full demonstration. I would not hesitate in recommending Nationwide to any friends who are planning the same.

Sometimes the plants have arrived okay, but several times they were in dreadful condition, crushed beyond recognition and beyond saving. The packaging is clearly inadequate and leaves much to be desired. Mini plugs - of three orders only one arrived in reasonable condition, the others were hopeless. Larger plants delivered in a box in two layers had the bottom layer crushed by the top layer collapsing onto them. The way T&M staggered delivery of a large order was very inconvenient, confusing even, as it came in dribs and drabs - if they don't have something ready to despatch I'd rather know that before I pay, rather than waiting up to two months for delivery. I'm still waiting for some lavender plants now. This is the first year we have ordered plants from T&M, in the region of a two hundred pounds worth, but with so many disappointments we will not use them again.
UPDATE, 6 AUGUST 2025 Just received an email to tell me part of "a recent order" is further delayed until second half of August - it was ordered on 26 April! I don't call that recent! "Dear Philip Graham Unfortunately there has been a delay in despatching one of the items you have recently ordered from us - please review the attached letter for full details and the new planned despatch date for that item."
UPDATE AUGUST 8TH 2025 New email, further delay until September. Utterly hopeless company.

The landscape foam works perfectly and is easy to control even using the basic nozzle provided rather than a screw-on head. Wear gloves and keep a bottle of acetone handy to clean off any mess.
One star deducted for failure to deliver in 24 hours despite my paying for Secure Flex Next day delivery. The courier (DX) had it the day before delivery was due but did not deliver until fully two days later.

Appalling performance by delivery driver. Banged on door and scarpered. Didn't ring bell, didn't give us a chance to get to the door or check the parcel. We answered the door in seconds only to see the pair get in their car and drive off. Didn't leave parcel in a safe place, anyone passing by would have seen it and could have walked off with it if we had not been there.

The sales team were very helpful in advising choice of plants for our new pond. The plants arrived on time. I would have given five stars but one part of the order was missing - promptly replied and replacement offered, now awaiting its arrival. Note that potted plants are NOT potted in aquatic baskets - they are in regular pots and need replanting in the correct compost and containers.
It is almost two weeks since I placed my order and there is no information on when it will be despatched. It just shows "pending tracking" but nowhere explains what that means. It is impossible to contact the company by chat or telephone, and they have not replied to my email. It is a joke that they call themselves "Gardening Express" as I have never encountered such tardy despatch of plants that are supposed to be in stock. I'll never use this company again. If you do, be prepared for a long, long wait. Their delivery small print says despatch can take up to 15 working days in peak season - whenever "peak season" is, that's just an easy cop out and excuse for a poor despatch system.
The translation was made in double-quick time, even faster than promised. I was very impressed by the responsiveness as well as the accuracy of the translation. I do not hesitate in thoroughly recommending Translate Fast.
