Confusion on batteries.....but all good…

Confusion on batteries.....but all good in the end.
Just a tiny issue whilst waiting to use . The box shows one way to place the AA batteries when in fact it is incorrect. On the product it is very tiny + and - showing the correct way.
Once sorted Happy times

I disliked the pressure to send my car…

I disliked the pressure to send my car to auction despite repeated emails telling them this would only be when my new car arrived.
The car achieved the reserve price but the collecting dealer tried to knock the price down by £350 . The images and condition of the vehicle were exactly as sent to motorway. I had to settle for £125 less. Shabby dealing.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the experience.

We can see that you were sent automated emails enquiring if the vehicle was for sale as an initial price was given. We would like to apologise for the automated emails however,there is an option to unsubscribe within the emails we send, alternatively you are able to send in a written request via email and we would be able to remove your email from our mailing list.

In regards to the reduction, unfortunately, if the buyer identifies any issues that weren’t listed on the vehicle profile they may look to adjust their offer at the point of collection to take this into account, as your offer is based on the accuracy of the information provided and advertised on your profile.

In this instance, the buyer identified 25 separate scratches and chips on the vehicle that had not been declared on the profile prior to your vehicle being listed for sale listing your vehicle as no damages were declared on the vehicles bodywork.

However, we must stress that this is a voluntary process for all parties throughout and that you’re never obligated to accept a lower offer or sell at any point if you are unhappy to do so. We wouldn’t obligate you to sell at a price you weren’t happy with, inasmuch as we wouldn’t force a buyer to purchase a vehicle they weren’t happy with.

If you are unhappy with the reduction requested upon collection, you can always contact our Sales Support Team if you feel a reduction is unfair, but unfortunately it seems we were not made aware of any issue at the time. We will always look to assist in coming to a mutually agreeable outcome for both parties and if damage was genuinely declared, we will challenge a buyer on those points, inasmuch as we would discuss with you any damage that was not declared. Unfortunately, as we were not made aware at the time and as you were able to come to a new agreement with the buyer independent of ourselves we were unable to assist you further.

Nevertheless, we would like to thank you for choosing Motorway and we wish you all the best going forward.

Toaster elements

Speedy delivery of spare elements for classic toaster.

Good fitting instruction but very poor identification of the elements. Ordered both centre and end elements and they are all but indistinguihable. A felt tip green dot is all that is used for the end ones . This is not described in the fitting , just fortunate the old ones were marked.

Thank you for your comments. The elements are indicated as either End or Centre by the printing on the metal framework on the top of each element. For example, it will say DUALIT 230V 4-END. The green dot is for warehouse purposes only and does not denote the correct position or orientation of the element. Best regards Dualit

Appauling service and poor use of technology

A failed delivery despite a text confirming time. Then after an internet complaint an email saying sorry you weren't in ! A second failed delivery despite another text 2 days later. Parcel finally arrived with NO text delivery confirmed !!!!!!!!
If you fail to hit a delivery slot why not confirm this at the end of the day by text as it must be clear its still on the van.
