Although I love outdoor shops I was dreading looking for hiking boots and trying to find something that fitted.
I was immediately reassured when the first thing James my sales assistant did was measure my feet and listen to what I was looking for and the performance required by the boots.
It turned into a very stress free experience and from the large selection of boots available James was able to select the most suitable ones for me to try on.
I can now report that I am delighted with the fit and comfort of my newly purchased boots and would have no hesitation in recommending Ellis Brigham at Braehead in Glasgow.

Ordered Smartwool classic thermal base layer top. I have had one for 5years which I love so ordered another in the same size. It arrived promptly but found it to be bigger than my previous top, certainly not a slim fit.
I attempted to navigate the returns portal today on both i pad and i phone. Neither showed the options as stated on the returns website.
I used the chat bot to ask for help and got an e.mail back in Italian.!! Sadly of no value to me at all.
Having read the reviews on this site, I will just keep the top and not risk returning. Presumably this is what the company hope for. Caveat Emptor- my Latin is better than my Italian.!

Ordered 2 sizes of an Ariat boot which arrived promptly. Sadly they didn’t fit my feet.

Delighted with my recent order of full length curtains from Britannia Rose.
This the 4th pair of curtains I have ordered over the last few years and I have been impressed with the quality of the workmanship, selection of fabrics and competitive pricing.
There were some understandable delays and poor communication during the “ Covid” period which now seem to have been totally resolved.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Britannia Rose and would certainly use them again.

Canvas arrived promptly and was securely packaged. The frame and print are very good quality and I am delighted with my purchase.

Ordered the 4 tyres I wanted on line on Sunday night, booked my free home visit, 8am/ 8pm , for Tuesday.
E.mail on Tuesday morning gave 4 hour time slot for visit, then phone call from technician 45mins before his arrival. Tyres fitted , balanced with no mess, fuss or bother. Old tyres removed.
First class service. Would certainly recommend and use again.

Very disappointed in the quality of the Beechwood spindle backed sofa that I ordered on line. I found the sofa to be damaged under the delivery wrapping .The wood below the seating was completely detached from a front leg. There were only 2 dowls and glue holding this in place. One dowl was broken , the other out of its socket and the glue gone. The sofa was returned on this basis.
On further inspection the timber under the arm rests was rough and unfinished and one of the wooden spindles at the back of the sofa was loose in its position. Not at all the workmanship I would expect in a sofa costing over £800. !
Apart from waiting time to speak to customer services on the phone, Cox and Cox staff were pleasant and helpful, return collection prompt and efficient and my refund was made within 3 days of the return.

Very happy with my blind which was as described on the website and arrived well packaged and promptly. I was also kept well informed of the progress of my order.

Ordered my Mountfield Princess lawnmower on line on the Monday, it was dispatched on the Tuesday and delivered on the Wednesday. A total of 3 days during the Covid 19 pandemic - fantastic! I was kept up to date from ordering to delivery by e.mail - a first class service by all involved.
