I booked a Budget car rental from them during my holiday in Croatia. I paid in full in advance with no extra added. The day after I returned to UK I received an invoice from Budget Croatia charging my credit card £ 350.48 with all adds on possible.
I submitted a request of help on my booking com account explaining the problem and enclosed all the needed documents.

On the form I filled out they looked genuinely helpful but truth is they just feed customers sweeties.
I received a reply of apologies and I was invited to contact Budget as I didn't provide evidence which I did.
Utterly disgusting liers money grabbers.

Booked a flight Split to Bristol via Amsterdam.
Excellent interaction via email filling you up with tons of adverts aimed at grabbing more money.When I received the check in email I was redirected to their partners website.Who these were supposed to be was not mentioned,
all I know was being redirected to Split airport.
After I spent long time trying to guess how to check in, via their app too, I managed to check in on the airport web side.Guess what? I was checked in all right on the whole trip but I was issued with only my first part of the trip boarding pass, they couldn't provide a boarding pass for the connecting flight from Amsterdam albeit being checked in.When I contacted customer service I was told to search for their desk at Amsterdam where I would be given the boarding pass.Is this the major Nederland's airline or Disneyland?
I spent 3 hours on this garbage and I was charged enough to expect a lot better!

To improve this company need to sell out to another company.
I have been trying to get home delivery and every time there are" not available items"
What I find rather annoying is that although the items are available on line hours before the delivery they become not available for my shopping list at the very last moment.
Why they insist to do home delivery when clearly they haven't got a clue how to run it?

I had to activate a SIM and port in a number.The all process wasn't quite free flowing but the chat helpline Adam on the chat helpline was very helpful and I got sorted.

I bought an item priced with VAT included, shipped from UK.
I was billed the VAT. Contacted them on two occasions, provided proof. They sent two replies asking for proof of purchase, custom receipt. I replied trying to get them to read properly about my claim. They closed the claim.
Not very transparent, they provide custom paid invoices looking like items comes from abroad, but like my case they did not. Doubts arise are they charging customers VAT when they should not?

Used them twice and I was extremely pleased.
Fast delivery, carefully packaged goods, competitive prices.
Shame they don't seem to do fresh food.

They are trying to keep wine prices low. This is not happening as prices are creeping up and offering a lower quality products. Also they resorted to keep wines alcohol to 11% so they contein the tax but not to customers benefit as prices have increased.
Red wines especially, do check the alcohol content,they lowered it, and frankly this is not red wine but cow wee in disguise.

As for betting, generally speaking is fairly satisfying. the problem arise with a retarded customer service.
Phone lines tell you to use online chat, and this is 20 minutes wait,longer on a Sunday.
And the chat suggests to email support,1 day to respond.
They don't use two ways text verification for logging in problems either.

Chinese company with various warehouses in Europe.
Ordered a shoe cabinet on 24th May 24 come end of July nothing arrived. Exchanged various emails,given promises,offered a discount, and I was sent a fake tracking number. When it was clear the cabinet wasn arriving, after 2 months,I canceled the order and opened a chargeback refund request via card company, which my bank paid back.
Guess what? they still sent the bloomey cabinet which arrived on the 2nd of September,3 months later,which will be sent back.
So now I got the aggravation to send it back.
Shifty traders, will pass the case on to the ombdusman if necessary.

Once upon time when you shopped at Waitores you knew you could trust them, now they fell low like many other supermarkets.Smaller portion advertised as a bargain. I recently bought a packet of Jaffa cakes on sale, ventilated as discounted.
The cakes are half of the size and less in quantity.

High Street thieves, club card prices are for items smaller than usual,most of the cases.Their boss is on a 10Mil salary and they keep pick pocketing on hard up families.

Nowadays your products quality are mainly cheap chinese garbage. You are au par with Ebay now,but more expensive.
The only positive that remains is customer service ,delivery and return service.
Lately I lost track of how many items were returned as being defective or poor quality.

Fast response, excellent tradesmen hired.

Went to Exeter store for the first time in my life.
I was more than impressed with everything and the staff service better than many other posh stores.
However this was a false dawn.
I bought a coffee table for £ 69.99 plus delivery charge totalling to £ 79.94.
Delivery was supposed to be within 3 days.
One week later, nothing.The parcel was with the logistics but no sign to be delivered. Since then I sent at list 10 emails to support and 2 phone calls. No table delivered.
Today ,30 Dec.,I was refunded,yet again, minus delivery charge because I returned it. Clowns!
So far I was told twice,a refund was being processed but nothing happening.Once it was suggested I was welcome to go to the store to ask a refund.

We bought a sofa bed.We inquired,if it came with a mattress, by email and on the phone. We were told it did. Sofa it is an extendable one, not a sofa bed,you sleep on the cushions. No mattress.
Made in China?
Sad story of a company that used to pride to be 100% British.
