Have had my appliance returned to be…

Have had my appliance returned to be fixed 5 times so far. D&G will not supply a new appliance even though the repair company have suggested this, stating I have an unlimited repair policy and will need to carry on returning the appliance to be fixed. The fault is exactly the same problem and is only rectified for a week to 10 days and the reverts to the same problem.

At Domestic and General we will first and foremost aim to repair an appliance before replacing, this is correct that the plans do have an unlimited repairs attached to the plans taken. However we do take into consideration various factors for example if its beyond economical repair and if the repair agent has stated it needs to be written off they will action this. Be aware

Be aware. I purchased some tiles from the Basildon store. The descriprion was of a porcelain stone affect tile, which was displayed on a board. All tiles were of the same colour and shade, no mention of different shades or colour variance. On receiving my order and opening 2 boxes (4 tiles ) there was a huge difference in colour and shade. I found this unacceptable and deemed it as being mis-sold. On contacting customer service they agreed to take them back less the 4 I had opened with a pick up charge of £60 and a 10% re- stocking fee. I strongly suggest anybody thinking of buying tiles from Easy Bathrooms think again.

Ordered a promotional case of wine from the July magazine on the 4th of July to be told it had already been sold out.

Probably the worst company I have had…

Probably the worst company I have had to deal with. Purchased a hob, given a delivery date, was told of a time for delivery, 30 minutes before it was due to be delivered received an email stating the item was out of stock. Called the Marks Electrical to be told there was a mix up and would receive more stock of the hob in 10 days. No contact after 10 days and called again, to be told another 4 weeks. Still no contact, called again after 4 weeks and was told they couldn't give any firm detail of when the hob would be in and probably another 4 weeks at least. I was offered £30 compensation. I asked for a full refund as my kitchen had now been built and I had sourced a hob elsewhere. Received a credit for £30. Called again as still no contact and was told they hadn't realised I wanted a refund. Waited a week to receive a credit minus the £30 good will jesture. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. Many other companies on the web that are cheaper and far better at keeping their customers informed.

Off to a bad start

Off to a bad start, only part or the order was delivered. After calling customer service, was told the rest of the order couldn’t be located, several calls later and was asked if I would accept another design of furniture as the one I ordered was no longer in stock. The replacement was an upgrade to the one I purchased and was delivered 2 days later. Delighted with the furniture and the prompt response from Maze, couldn’t be happier.
