Once I requested, barclays said to me that the money has never been received by them and they simply wouldn’t accept it and the money will be back to my friends account in 14 working days.
Until 2 days ago my friend contacted his bank again and asked what happened with this money and his bank informed him that Barclays would not release the money! I know it’s just £200 and not a significant one, but just imagine how many people per day are like me that their money been usurped by this unreliable, scam bank?

It funny that I have been on telephone for over 2 hours with barclays as they wanted to interrogate me like an international criminal and they haven’t released my money. Now in the reply of my reviews they ask me to call them again to probably waste another hour of my time.

It’s nearly a month that Barclays has kept £200 that has been sent to me from Austria! I cannot believe a bank with this size, is unable to process £200 without issue! When I called the bank 3 weeks ago, Ive been informed barclays doesnt have the money! While I found out just yesterday that It was a lie! Its really embarrassing to see a bank can lie to client!
The big question for me is, why such an incompetent financial organisation is able to work in the UK banking system?
Why such a failure company is active without any authority make them responsible for their duties?
I cannot emphasise how disappointing it is to see such failure companies are making profit out of people’s pockets while there’s no rules to make them responsible to provide proper services to their clients!

My friend tried to transfer £200 to my account from Austria. It took over a week and lots of interrogation from Barclays to transfer this little money which was unsuccessful at the end and been refunded to the sender. They talked to me like they captured an international criminal! They threat me on their voicemail they left for me, that if I dont share every bit of information they want, the decline this £200.
It’s embarrassing for the UK financial system to let such an incompetent banks to operate in this country.

A company that does not even have an email for complain, explains its nature.
A company that is not capable to activate a client account, and so un-acceptable attitude from its admin team.
I cant say enough about my regret that I shared my personal information with such a irresponsible company.

I have called this complain number lots of time and every time they wasted so much of my time without tiniest help.
Ive tried chat in the app as well, after very long time, the admin respond you need to call us, we cant help on chat.
The fact that you confirm that Aqua does not have an email for complain, I think is enough for FCA to stop Aqua to operate in the uk

Called for 5th time. The admin held me on so many times, interrogated me like a criminal to activate my card and account! After holding me around 6 mins on the line, the call interrupted.
There’s something seriously wrong with this lender.
Now, I can take it to FCA, with so many proven attempt!
I also curious to know if Trustpilot is sensitive to make sure positive feedbacks for Aqua is authentic!

My detail has been requested on Trustpilot platform to be resolve my issue, still no one made any attempt.
Around 3 weeks that I called aqua 3 times and chat with them twice to activate my physical card or digital card on apple pay, but the aqua team does not want or cannot activate my card. Over 120 of my credit rating dropped, for nothing.
Im getting curious if FDA approves this method of customer service.
