Avoid you have been warned
My other half was insured with markerstudy and a third party reversed into it at 6.30 am damage to o/side door.
He drove car 200 miles back home from Scotland.
Contacted markerstudy next day and made a claim.
Despite me telling them that the car had minimal damage and was driveable and I also had use of other vehicle if needed they kept insisting that they wanted to collect the car take it to a secure compound have it estimated and provide me with a hire car .
It took two weeks hours on the phone before they provided me details of there local repair shop so I could get it estimated .
I eventually agreed a cash settlement and got the car repaired myself .
I spent a fortune on calls and hours dealing with one incompetent after another .
The accident occurred on 9th august 2022 when I went to renew my van insurance my premium was £175 but on renewing this claim is still showing open as they have not received payment from the other party’s insurance.
I have had to pay an additional £185 in order to be road legal.
Made another complaint no 3 to them response back in receipt of you’re complaint unfortunately delay in it being passed from one dept.to them sorry will review and you will receive our answer within 8 weeks.
Honestly what a useless company
