I'm not sure how they're still in business. They're total crooks. The shuttle does not come every 15-20 minutes like they state. The building is a dump. The virtual desk agent doesnt work. The car itself is a total P.O.S. Everybody in the waiting area had a frown. And let me just say it again... the $500 deposit?? Kiss it goodbye. They'll send you a bogus receipt saying the credit is coming and then it doesn't. I'm urging you to listen to me... do not use this company!! All the negative reviews are real, and the good ones are fake. You will be dissapointed!! And you will not get your deposit back. You've been warned.

Booked a Fullsize SUV for a 3-day rental (July 2-5) through Expedia for a family trip from Florida to Georgia. The listing prominently advertised "unlimited mileage" — which reasonably suggests you can drive the car as far as you need. Arrived on time at the FLL counter with all required documents, ready to pick up the vehicle. Was told at the counter — for the first time — that the car could not leave the state of Florida. This made the vehicle completely unusable for the trip I'd booked it for, despite the "unlimited mileage" messaging. I did not take the car. The interstate restriction was never shown clearly during booking; it only appears buried in a lengthy separate "Rules & Restrictions" document, while the mileage benefit was front and center. Currently disputing the charge since no vehicle was ever provided or used.

If I could I would not give a single star!! We have never experienced this bad customer service!! There are just 3 glass boxes, where you’ll talk to agents through zoom! It takes FOREVER!!! To get everything set! Even though we booked ahead and just needed to pick up. We heard agents yelling at customers and saw countless frustrated customers leave the door! As Americans you already have insurance and they make you buy more and talk you into more stuff you need to add and of course pay! Agents are very rude yelling at old people! We are here for 1.5 hours and my husband is still in there! People who left warned us about there tricks!!! We will never ever book with them again EVER!!!

Avoid Zoom Car Rental at all costs. They use deceptive pricing dynamics to trap travelers under duress.

The Scheme: I booked a fully compliant reservation online. Upon arrival after 8:00 PM, an agent in a virtual screen arbitrarily claimed my premium State Farm policy ($250k person / $500k accident) was "insufficient," inventing a hidden $300k individual limit requirement nowhere to be found in the online contract. After I didn't accept, he sent me to talk to the "agent" at the office.

The Coercion: They held the car hostage, demanding an unauthorized daily "deposit waiver" fee. When I demanded to see the contract requirement, the counter agent pointed to a random printed flyer on the desk and mockingly said, "How did you think something so cheap could be real? No one could imagine you wouldn't have to pay anything else."

The Result: Because I refused to submit to these high-pressure tactics, they hostilely canceled my booking, stating, "Well, then you don't have a car," leaving me completely stranded in the middle of the night and forcing me to cancel my trip, find Uber, a hotel, and completely change my trip plans at midnight.

I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB Case 24870088), forcing them to capitulate and authorize a full refund. I am forwarding their evasive written statements to the Florida Attorney General for a formal regulatory investigation into predatory tourist practices. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Al llegar después de las 8:00 PM, un agente en una pantalla alegó arbitrariamente que mi póliza de seguro de State Farm ($250k por persona / $500k por accidente) era "insuficiente", inventando un requisito oculto de un límite individual de $300k que no existía en el contrato digital.
• La Coacción: Retuvieron el auto y exigieron un cobro diario no autorizado mediante un "waiver de depósito". Cuando exigí ver la cláusula, el agente del mostrador señaló un folleto impreso improvisado sobre la mesa y se burló diciendo: "¿Cómo pensaba que algo tan barato podía ser real? Nadie podría imaginar que no tendría que pagar nada más".
• El Resultado: Como me negué a ceder a estas tácticas de alta presión, cancelaron mi reserva de forma hostil diciendo: "Pues entonces no tiene auto", dejándome completamente desamparada en mitad de la noche y obligándome a replantear totalmente mi viaje, buscar, Uber y hospedaje a medianoche.
Presenté una queja formal ante el Better Business Bureau (caso BBB 24870088), obligándolos a capitular y autorizar un reembolso completo. Estoy enviando sus declaraciones evasivas a la Fiscal General de Florida para iniciar una investigación regulatoria formal. NO CONFÍEN EN ESTA EMPRESA.

Very disappointing experience. The advertised rental rate was around $14 per day, but the final cost ended up being much higher due to additional fees that were not clearly disclosed.

The biggest issue was the toll charges. I was offered the Toll Waiver, but nobody explained that declining it would result in a $25 fee for each toll crossing. Since there are tolls at both the entrance and exit of Miami Airport, these charges are very difficult to avoid. Four tolls resulted in nearly $100 in extra fees.

Had these fees been clearly explained, I would have purchased the Toll Waiver or chosen a different rental company. In my opinion, the pricing and toll policies are not presented transparently. I would not rent from this company again.

I wish there was a zero (0) star. They are a scammer, please stay away. They did not allow me to use my own insurance with the reason that the credit card I used at the time of booking is a business card not personal. When presented a personal card, they still denied it. Now they are denying cancellation on a car reservation which I never picked up with saying the card I presented did not have my own name, which is super funny. Run away!
