I recently bought LED downlights from Zippy Electrical and had an excellent experience! The staff was really nice, helpful, and knowledgable; they took the time to explain the various possibilities and assisted me in selecting the ideal LED for my home. From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional, and the product quality was fantastic. I highly recommend shopping here if you want attractive lighting and excellent service.

I needed a alarm system urgently. Zippy had it in stock and shipped it the same day. The free tracked delivery was a great bonus. Setup was smooth and the product quality is excellent.

I received poor customer service and some of the products I bought where faulty when they arrived. Will not deal with them again and wanted to warn others....

Details:
I wanted to buy some copper busbar and saw what I wanted on the Zippy website. Unfortunately, I did not see a note that said "Click and Collect Only" next to the busbars. When I had added other products also to the order and gone to checkout the order just went through without any flag to alert me that I could not receive the busbars by post. They did not call me to check with me, but did a refund on the busbar and sent the other in stock items. When I realised they were doing this without first contacting me, I tried to contact them numerous times, but they say they were closed so I did not get a response.

Communication BEFORE the order was sent out would have solved the problem.

I also received faulty Tesla Cable Clips. A number of the cable clips I purchased were cracked along the plastic where the nail is encapsulated. (A faulty product like that is a real nuisance for me as an Electrician because they are scattered throughout the pack and randomly come up as the items are used.) Due to the fact that I would have to pay for return postage to get a refund, compounded with the already negative experience so far, I decided to put it down to lessons learnt.

I only decided to post a comment when I found the Tesla Cable Clips defective as it tipped me over, causing me to feel I needed to warn others.

As an electrician, I deal with a lot of electrical suppliers. online included, and these guys don't rate well for me when compared.

Oh my god the staff is so friendly and I have gone memories of this place as they returned my wallet pouch even after I had lost all hopes and they worked hard to trace me down ..and kept it safe for me ...
As I entered almost all knew I had come for my wallet ..wow.

I have had the best service from this particular store. My mum was after a whole house of lights and the staff member was so helpful. Mum has a speech issue due to a stroke and is very uncomfortable talking to strangers. Jules made her feel so comfortable. Excellent service would highly recommended and they really know their stuff. Even go there just for globes now. A+

Best vacuum I have owned! The Elcop Vigor is very quiet, easy to manoeuvre and cleans great! I have 3 bedrooms with carpet and it works like a treat. It also does very well on tiles and hard surfaces. All the attachments are great and allow me to clean different surfaces. Very happy with the purchase

The CCTV from zippy is seriously top notch. Ive tried several other brands and although on paper they say it is the same, when it comes to real life use after it has been installed, the diamond series is by far the superior product. I am a CCTV installer and I will not be using anything else from now on
