ZFN Chartered Surveyors Anmeldelser

I paid ZFN CHARTERED SURVEYORS to do a comprehensive building survey for a house I wanted to purchase in London. The building survey was done on March 2021, and the report come back with no major issues and no mention/warning of asbestos in the report at all. After I receive their report, ZFN tried to lure me with a cash back for 5-star reviews, which I refused as I did not want to mislead the public. There are not too much added benefits for me in the report, as there is no significant difference from my visual assessment and their visual assessment, what I can see is what they can see in their report, I paid for the most compressive building survey but their survey was only a visual assessment. I expected that a building survey with RICS surveyor could provide more detailed insight/inspections with their knowledge, tools and experience.
Given no major issue/hazard with the survey, I purchased the property on Jun 2021. After that, when I started some renovation work, unfortunately the plumbers immediately noticed there are obviously asbestos flue pipe and asbestos insulation board, beside hot water tank, also there are cold water tanks with asbestos as well. These can be easily identified when you open the door of the boiler/water tank. Even the most superficial inspection by any competent surveyor would have given an indication of the asbestos.
I went back to the ZFN and provided them with the asbestos survey report, and sent them pictures as evidence, But ZFN insist that they are satisfied that they conducted the building survey with industry standards.
I could have negotiated the purchase price down or even not buy the property at all should they at least suspected and warned me of the asbestos, now I have to pay additional cost for asbestos survey and the cost to remove this asbestos. My family cannot move in to the property and we have to evacuate and find alternative accommodation due to asbestos. My house renovation work has to be stopped/postponed until asbestos removed. And also, this has caused lots of psychological and mental pressure/harm to myself and my family.
I have made a formal complaint against ZFN to RICS, also I am consulting my solicitors on any possible legal actions against ZFN CHARTERED SURVEYORS for their Professional Negligence, and I will report this to The Property Ombudsman as well.

Zaid was extremely helpful from the moment I requested a quote. He was polite and attentive. He discussed all matters raised and answered all my questions diligently. After the survey he called me and provided a 45 minute debrief which was really good of him. Post issuing the report he has been on hand to answer any questions. Would thoroughly recommend for a hassle free and easy experience. Thank you.

Would highly recommend! So responsive, friendly and efficient, even in busy times with stamp duty deadlines approaching. Thanks for providing such a great service!

Amazing service from Zaid. He managed to facilitate a survey at quick notice and gave us a thorough verbal summary immediately afterwards, before providing us with the detailed written report a few days later. I showed the written report to my brother who said it was much better than the one he had gotten done when he purchased his property.

Very prompt response to initial enquiry. Survey carried out and reported in a timely manner. Altogether a very efficient, reliable and helpful service. Would definitely recommend.

This companies provided an exceptional service. Professional and efficiently delivered a survey within one week. Highly recommended. This is the ethos of a successful business. Thank you!

I contacted ZFN to carry out a structural survey on my property. The agents were very extremely good at explaining what I required and did not suggest the most expensive as I didn’t require it. They conducted the survey very quickly and emailed me the very extensive report in a matter of days. Overall very pleased with the company and would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family. Sylvia

Fantastic experience with this firm - the best surveyors I have used. Here’s why:

- Communication was excellent, via WhatsApp. Whenever I messaged them they would reply within minutes and were very polite and organised.
- Zaid went above and beyond to try and get the survey done as soon as possible, which I really appreciated.
- As soon as the survey was done I received a verbal breakdown of it over the phone.
- The report was produced very quickly and with no issues.
- The cost is extremely reasonable for the quality of service.

I would not hesitate to recommend these surveyors. For info I used them to complete a structural survey on a property I am purchasing.

If you are considering using them then please go ahead - the service is exceptional and you will not be disappointed. Thanks so much Zaid & team!

Unbelievable service from beginning to end for a really reasonable price. We used ZFN to purchase our first property and Zaid was supportive, encouraging and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend.

Great communication and service from Zaid from the start. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the service provided was thorough and detailed. Highly recommended!

ZFN Surveyors were very helpful and communicative from the off. They accommodated a building survey at short notice and addressed our queries. The report they send down is very easy to follow and very informative, with pictures and breakdowns in layman's terms, along with any repair costs to be expected. I would very much recommend them - a friendly company with excellent service!

We were very happy with our experience with ZFN for a building survey on a terraced house.
Zaid was extremely helpful and responsive when advising us prior to the survey, which Fayyaz carried out within a week, providing us with a clear and comprehensive report shortly after.
We feel they went above and beyond for us and would happily recommend to others looking for an approachable and professional service.

We used ZFN for a building survey on a property we are buying. Zaid has been great. A very professional service and always on hand to answer any questions throughout the process. The report at the end was clear and informative and Zaid was very helpful in answering any questions we had.

As FTB the process hasn't always been stress-free but Zaid has been very reassuring offering helpful advice throughout which we are very grateful for.

Zaid was efficient and very responsive.
We received our building report in just 8 working days. The report was very detailed and easy to understand, it shows pictures of each room highlighting defects and cost repairing.
We will definitely recommend ZFN to anyone. Thanks!

Done my building survey through ZFN, the whole experience was fast and smooth and the price was competitive. Booking was super quick and easy, called on Wednesday and got surveyor visit booked same week Friday. The surveyor was helpful on the day with answering our questions. The report came back within reasonable time and had good attention to detail, also the guys were very helpful over WhatsApp with follow up questions after the report. Customer service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking to do house surveys!

Super speedy, efficient, friendly and professional service delivered by Zaid. He was able to understand my requirements very quickly and delivered my report within a quick turnaround. Would highly recommend!

Zaid provided a incredibly thorough report which went above and beyond the details expected. We have been left feeling assured all points have been covered and would recommended to all friends and family.

ZFN were very helpful in getting a building survey done for me at short notice during a tricky period (stamp duty deadlines and all!)

Shortly after I received a call from the surveyor and had an initial chat to discuss the overall inspection - to my delight structurally everything was fine and good to go.

I am admittedly a difficult customer to deal with sometimes and raised many queries once I received the report regarding my own points I noted during my own inspection.

These were then discussed through their Whatsapp service (which is very helpful) and furthermore through a group call running through all the points I had (there were a lot of points of discussion) they went above and beyond with their own insightful points to aid my overall purchase and position.

Overall I am very satisfied with their service 5* from me.

My partner was the main contact, instructing Zaid to complete a building survey of a Victorian terranced house in East London. Zaid and ZFN was recommended to us by a friend, so we knew already that he was good. Zaid has been very easy to communicate with and he did an excellent, quick and smooth job. He was very on top of keeping us in the loop and he kept us updated throughout the process by text and email. His report was easy to understand and detailed to the expected level (he had provided us with an example report before we committed). I would definitely recommend his services and I would happily use him again in the future.

Zaid got recommended to us through a good friend. We are in the process of buying a terrace house in East London.
He was really good with communication and keep us informed at all times of the most relevant items. He did a really detailed full report that gave us a good view of the state of the building. I will recommend him to anyone or use his services again.
Thanks Zaid.
