A very streamlined rental process from start to finish.

The online car booking process is very clear and user-friendly. Even for someone like me who isn't entirely confident in English, the site is easy to navigate. I also really liked being able to choose between newer and older models—with the older ones being cheaper than the newer ones. That was the deciding factor for me in booking through your site.

I had scheduled the pickup for 2:00 AM. I received the access code for the building—specifically for the lockbox containing the car key—around midnight. This worked out very well, as we ended up picking up the car at 1:00 AM—an hour earlier than originally booked.

The instructions for picking up the key, provided in your email, were very simple and easy to understand.

Finding the vehicle was no problem either.

The only point of criticism I have is that the cars were parked very close together; I had to climb in through the trunk just to get inside the vehicle.

Returning the car at the end of our trip went perfectly. Your staff are very friendly and polite.

If I travel to Iceland again, I will definitely book my vehicle with you.

Un service de qualité, rapide et efficace. Nous avons eu une crevaison et le traitement a été fait dans la minute qui suivait, sans frais à avancer. Il reste dommage que nous avons avancé une amende pour un stationnement qui nous a été effectivement remboursé (avec les preuves de stationnement) mais pas dans la totalité de la somme qui nous a été prélevé. La justification du cours de la couronne islandaise n’est vraiment pas fondé. Cela reste des centimes mais sur plusieurs clients, cela peut faire beaucoup. Il est dommageable que la société n’ait pas par ailleurs remboursé cette différence de somme.

Super easy with their contactless pickup. The Kia Sportage was new, clean, and drove great! Dropoff was less than 5 minutes and located adjacent to KEF. 5 stars for sure! The only choice if you need a rental in Iceland!

The whole experience was fantastic. At one point I needed a jumpstart and the roadside assistance was there in about 15 minutes. I was in a hurry back to the airport and the return process was super quick and smooth so I was able to catch my flight.

Renting the car online was super easy with excellent guides. The pricing was clear and what they included. The staff were super friendly and messages were answered in no time. I rented older models and they were in good shape and worked well. Very nice overall experience.

Very easy car rental process - quite easy to book a car online, pick up was done through a keybox which was very easy and the drop off was smooth as well. No questions asked as I took out the full insurance package (which you should definitely do in Iceland!). Definitely recommended.

Fast self pickup of rental at the airport. No frills returning the car. EV type 2 charging cable provided but not the slow granny charger. Smart #5 is relatively new and nice to drive with good audio system. Good mileage per charge. Max speed 150kw despite using 240kw charging stations

Picking up the car was easy, we were helped by someone at the desk and the wait was not long. Dropping off was equally easy. Simple and one of the cheapest options!

We will definitely use Zero Car next time in Iceland, which we're already planning! We picked up our keys in the key box, found our license plate to match the tag, and we were off. The car was well taken care of and clean. My experience with zerocar.is was perfect. Picking up the car was extremely quick and easy. It was supplied with a virtually full tank of fuel. I caused some minor damage to the car, sent an email, and everything was sorted out. All the insurance coverage included is really very handy. Returning the car was also very quick.
Although the price is higher than that of competitors, the peace of mind that Zerocar provides with its insurance cover is priceless.

It was very easy the rental online process as well as picking up and dropping off the car. The office staff is very kind and the car we rented (Dacia Duster 4x4) was in perfect conditions. Also I recommend pre-paid fuel so as not to waist time when dropping off your car. Finally you feel great relief when driving knowing that any trouble is covered by the zero car excess insurance. In short: a very great experience and also a good value for money.

Nice road trip, the car was perfect for the family.

Everything was simple, clean, and reliable. The car was clean and comfortable, and handled all kinds of roads well. No extra fees, easy drop-off. My only recommendation is a little more clarity about getting to the rental location from the airport terminal, since it's not located near all the other rental signs. Having done it once, it's easy and I'd happily rent from them again.
