Easy check out and drop off. The office at the airport is a bit far but the office is very luxurious. I would recommend not walking with heavy luggage to the office- better to have someone in your group wait at the airport exit while the driver gets the car, and same for drop off.

My wife and I rented an SUV for a 14 day Iceland Ring Road trip in June-July 2026. Everything about the experience was great, to include the online rental, the easy walk to their airport location, the quick pick-up of our keys and the car itself. They were quick to reply when we discovered a small issue during our trip and were accommodating on a small refund afterwards. What I truly loved was their full insurance package which gave me peace of mind that we were covered for any issues during our drive. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip and I didn't want any surprises to ruin it - so we rented from Zero Car - and so should you!

Everything was great; the reservation and the instructions were clear. I got the key in a box with a code. The car was clean and drove well (Dacia Duster).
For the return, I gave the key back at the counter, and it was done.

We booked a 4WD SUV with Zero Car for our 10-day trip to Iceland. The key pickup and drop-off process was completely seamless. Having their insurance package included gave us peace of mind so we could just relax and enjoy our holiday. I would definitely book with them again. I have already recommended Zero Car to friends planning their own Iceland trips!

I would have given a full 5 stars, however, we booked a Rav4 but instead we were given a KIA Sportage with 145,000 KM high mileage car.

Other than that, everything went well, the car has no issues., the process is easy. This is the 2nd time we rent through Zero/Blue, hopefully we can get a newer car next time.

Seamless from picking up to dropping off!

Die Abholung des Autos war unkompliziert und schnell. Ich habe noch nie ein so sauberes Auto erhalten – zum ersten Mal sogar mit Autoteppichen. Ausserdem habe ich genau das Auto bekommen, das ich gebucht hatte. Auch die Rückgabe war schnell und unkompliziert.
Ich war rundum zufrieden und würde diesen Service jederzeit gerne weiterempfehlen.

Smooth pickup at the airport and drop off in downtown. Reasonable price

Super easy pick-up and drop-off, both fully self-service. The instructions were clear and everything was very easy to understand. We got exactly the car we booked, and it was in very good condition.

We booked the full coverage package, which gave us peace of mind throughout the trip. After a lot of research, I found Zero Cars to have the best insurance coverage for incidents. The office team was also very responsive—on the day of the drop-off, I emailed to ask for a 3-hour extension, and they replied very quickly and approved it, so we could finish our itinerary without rushing.

Overall, a smooth and hassle-free experience. I would definitely book with Zero Cars again.

Wir haben für unseren Island-Urlaub ein Allrad-Fahrzeug bei Zero Car gemietet, da uns das Geschäftskonzept sofort überzeugt hat. Vor allem der reibungslose und unkomplizierte Ablauf bei der Fahrzeugübernahme und -abgabe am Flughafen war hervorragend, auch morgens vor 6 Uhr. Was diesen Anbieter für uns trotz des im Vergleich etwas höheren Preises absolut wertvoll gemacht hat, ist das beruhigende Gefühl des Rundum-Versicherungsschutzes inklusive möglicher Betreuung bei Problemen sowie die offizielle Erlaubnis, problemlos auf den isländischen F-Straßen zu fahren. Unser Dacia Bigster hat die anspruchsvollen Strecken hervorragend gemeistert, war extrem zuverlässig und dazu noch überraschend sparsam im Verbrauch. Wir sind absolut begeistert und würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen!

Super expérience! pas de surprise à la restitution. Nous malheureusement subit plusieurs dégâts ; crevaisons, impact pare brise, ceux ci ont été pris en charge par zéro car. Le système de prise en charge par boite à clés est fluide, pas d'attente pour récupérer le véhicule. La restitution est également très très rapide. Je recommande vivement, vous voyagerez l'esprit tranquille. Avec la localisation possible du véhicule, vous recevrez même des conseilles sur les routes F que vous emprunter. Au top zérocar!

Zero worries, easy pick up and drop off

We really appreciated the ease of collecting and returning the car. Each took just a couple of minutes and, although we did both during office hours, it's comfortable to know you can come at any time and pick up or drop off the keys. The car was excellent, the price reasonable compared to other companies. I can't comment on service as we didn't have any problems. I would definitely use them again.

I visited Iceland for the sixth time in July, and for the sixth time, I used a Zero Car. As always, I received a nearly new vehicle (a Land Rover Defender with 4,000 km on the clock), and whenever I ran into issues—such as a flat tire in the Highlands—I received help very quickly. There is genuinely someone available around the clock. It’s simply fantastic, and I will definitely use Zero Car again for my next trip.
