I ordered a dress on 6th March 2026, it arrived on 31st March. I ordered a UK 16 it was a very small size, could not even get into it. Measured it against a dress I bought in a UK shop size 16, there is a 5 inch difference. I asked to return it, they then asked me to send them measurements of the dress which I did do, now they have sent another email saying I must send photo’s so they can measure the dress? They also say i have to pay for the return postage, not had this with any other company. The dress was also not the colour shown on the photo online, it was brown, the image showed pink. I am not happy! Think twice before you buy.

The shop is very flakey and a nightmare to deal with, especially if you a dress on certain date. I ordered 2 dresses to try for my birthday. Immediately they notified one of them is out of stock and instead of simply refunding they were trying to hold on to my money and kept offering for me to buy an alternative one. Already, wasting a lot of time going back and forth. Then the dress (one which was in stock) arrived but really big even for size S and plasticy. I tried to return. And they said I have to send it back to the USA at my ow expense plus they threaten that there may be also tax I may get charged at the border which I have to pay. Then suggest and alternative, keep it but refund almost half of what I paid.
The whole process took so long yet I am left with a low quality dress and lost time and money along the process. It is a Chinese business pretending to have a presence in the UK. Don’t do it.

AVOID at all costs … because it will cost you not only money but time and effort. I bought two wedding dresses to compare. I wrongly presumed the company is UK based. It’s not. It’s Texas. The dresses are badly fitting and poor quality but the company will not accept return nor refund my money. I managed to get a return address out of them but they’re not paying the customs fees so Evri will return the parcel to me. I’ve so far paid over £300. They’ve offered me a £193 coupon! Why would I keep two wholly unsuitable dresses and then buy from them again. I am beyond angry and upset. Do NOT buy from here!

The quality of the dress was poor and sizing was unusual (not UK standard sizes). I sent an email 3 days after receiving the item to let them know I wanted to return it. After much timewasting on their behalf over emails (they wanted pictures, offered alternatives for me to keep the item etc), they then tell me I've missed the 7 day return period for them to accept the item back and give me a refund. The dress was over £100! This retailer is a scam, don't fall for it like I did.

This company is a scam. I ordered a dress and almost immediately realized it was the wrong one. I sent an email to customer support requesting a refund. I was told because I made my request within 24hrs that I was eligible for a full refund “if I choose to proceed with the cancellation” (which was odd considering I just requested it). They then proceeded to ask me many questions on why I was requesting a cancellation (even though I just told them why). I responded promptly letting them know I did not want to change the color, or size, I simply wanted to cancel the order. They stopped responding and did not send me a refund OR the item!!! I am now disputing it with PayPal.

Horrible company! Don't buy from this company. The sizings don't come right and trying to get a return is like impossible since it's from all the way from America and they tell you to pay for the return which is around 70-80 pounds which is crazy expensive for returns that they are meant to pay for. Even if a item looks good DONT BUY IT!!
Poor dress quality and poor returns
I ordered a dress from Zapaka which, when it arrived, looked nothing like the photos on the website in terms of fabric, fit and overall appearance. Because of this, I requested a return.
The return process was extremely difficult. I was initially offered coupons and partial refunds instead of a proper refund. When a return was finally agreed, the address provided was in the USA with a very short 7-day deadline and return postage at my own cost, which made returning the item impractical.
Due to the misleading product description and unreasonable return conditions, I had to escalate the matter to my bank, who refunded me directly. Zapaka did not process the refund themselves.
I’m leaving this review to make other customers aware of both the quality discrepancy and the return difficulties.
People need to managed their expectations
I received my dress in 2.5 weeks and it was perfect. It was accurate to size stated, good quality and very well made. Most of the reviews are based around customer service but I think if you read the terms and conditions, sizing advice and order well in advance (i ordered at the end of November) as you should anyway for big events like prom or a wedding you should be fine. It is a very good prom dress site for the price and considering they are based in china. If you avoid user error you will be fine. The dresses are made after you order them so the standard delivery time can take a month.

Worst customer experience. Sincerely regret not checking reviews before buying. Item is shipped from China and returns are needlessly complicated to discourage returns. Items are okay looking but incredibly poor quality and fit.

It took 3 weeks to receive the dress, which did not fit because the measurements were off. I tried to return the dress a week later & they said I had missed the return date by 1 day!!!!!

Following my complaint that I had to pay £55 to return a dress that was terrible quality. Didn't match the picture, didn't match the measurements and was impossible to wear even if I liked it as the sequins cut into your flesh! 4 times I asked how to raise a formal complaint. I have now been told that if I started a law suit then they will not refund me for the dress! Even though I followed their instructions and already paid to return it.
Stay away from this company. I am so pleased I have all the emails to back my complaint. They are a last untouched themselves and statutory rights do not apply
ALSO they cunningly avoid tax that you have to pay. They ship the dress from China. Then you have to return to America making you liable for the tax. So a £155 dress costs £55 to return then £70 tax
Just be aware their terrible reviews are there for a reason I just wish I had seen then before I ordered.

Ich warne ausdrücklich vor diesem Shop. Meine Bestellung ist bis heute nicht angekommen, obwohl die angegebene Lieferzeit schon lange überschritten wurde. Eine verlässliche Kommunikation oder irgendeine Form von Kundenservice gibt es nicht. Besonders schockierend finde ich die Rückgaberegeln. Sie wirken für mich wie ein System, das Rücksendungen praktisch unmöglich machen soll. Eine Rückgabefrist von nur 7 Tagen, mehrere Kategorien von Artikeln, die komplett von der Rückgabe ausgeschlossen sind, und keine Erstattung der ursprünglichen Versandkosten – all das entspricht in meinen Augen weder einem fairen Kundenumgang noch den Standards, die man bei seriösen Online-Händlern erwartet.
Die Regeln sind auch stark abweichend von den EU Verbraucherschutzrichtlinien!!!
Zusätzlich scheint die Rücksendung ins Ausland zu laufen, was hohe Kosten und großen Aufwand bedeutet. Für mich entsteht dadurch der klare Eindruck, dass Rückgaben bewusst erschwert werden und man als Kunde faktisch ohne Rechte dasteht.
Die gesamte Abwicklung wirkt auf mich unprofessionell und nicht vertrauenswürdig. Aufgrund der extrem verspäteten Lieferung, der undurchsichtigen Prozesse und der in meinen Augen stark verbraucherunfreundlichen Richtlinien kann ich nur dringend davon abraten, hier zu bestellen.
Auffällig ist außerdem, dass der Shop auf seiner eigenen Seite fast ausschließlich 5-Sterne-Bewertungen zeigt, während die unabhängigen Bewertungen im Internet ein deutlich durchwachseneres und teilweise sehr negatives Bild vermitteln – was für mich den Gesamteindruck zusätzlich verschlechtert.

I strongly advise against using this shop. My order has still not arrived, even though the specified delivery time has long passed. There is no reliable communication or any form of customer service. I find the return policy particularly shocking. To me, it seems like a system designed to make returns practically impossible. A return period of only 7 days, several categories of items that are completely excluded from return, and no refund of the original shipping costs – in my opinion, none of this is fair to customers or meets the standards expected of reputable online retailers.
The rules also deviate significantly from EU consumer protection guidelines!!!
In addition, returns seem to be sent abroad, which means high costs and a lot of effort. This gives me the clear impression that returns are deliberately made difficult and that, as a customer, you are effectively left without any rights.
The entire process strikes me as unprofessional and untrustworthy. Due to the extremely delayed delivery, the opaque processes, and the guidelines, which I consider to be very consumer-unfriendly, I can only strongly advise against ordering from here.
It is also striking that the shop shows almost exclusively 5-star reviews on its own website, while independent reviews on the internet paint a much more mixed and sometimes very negative picture – which further worsens my overall impression.

Zapak review I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Zapaka UK and feel compelled to share my ordeal.
I placed an order for dresses and headpieces, gloves from Zapaka for a great Gatsby party and paid an additional fee for expedited delivery, expecting to receive my items quickly as I needed them for the important party. Despite this, the delivery was delayed by two and half weeks, which caused me a great deal of inconvenience.
During this period, I emailed the customer service team, emphasising the urgency and the reason for needing the dresses promptly.
Unfortunately, my emails were neither ignored or inadequately addressed, and the dresses arrived three weeks late.
Given that the items were no longer needed, I returned the items promptly to the return UK address which was provided on the parcel and provided evidence of the postage return via a receipt. Despite this Zapaka refused to issue a refund. Their refusal to acknowledge the return and process a refund despite having received the items and proof of return, is unacceptable. Overall my experience with Zapaka has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
The delayed delivery, lack of effective communication, and refusal to process a refund of £167.60 + £22.00 for delivery, despite clear evidence are all serious issues that need to be addressed. I would advise potential customers to be wary of this company and their practices.
Rating 1/5 O rating. Never got my refund back since March2024.

Took ages to arrive from China, despite representation as a UK company. The dress was not was not worth the £130 , badly fitting and far too long so would require extensive alterations to be wearable.
I contacted them to arrange a return within the 7 days as per their policy however was subjected to a ridiculous back and forth exchange over 5 days asking for evidence, photos etc and offering £11 or vouchers etc as others have described, very far from the process within their policy.
They have stated that they will deduct "a cost for shipping" and instructions to return to an address in Texas include claiming the item is only worth £15, I explained that the value of the dress, and what I actually paid, minus £9 shipping was £125 and asked for confirmation that they will refund that amount back to the original payment method. After instructing me it will be assessed, and must be received by them within 7 days of the supplying of the return address....They then went quiet....
I am yet to find a review that confirms someone got their money back!
I am not convinced I will ever see a refund so absolutely not returning it at further cost and now stuck with it!

For one they are not based in the uk they do not encourage returns making it cheaper to keep the item and the products they are selling are sold on SHEIN at a fraction of the price with no problem what so ever with returns please do not get caught out do not purchase from this site I wouldn’t have given any stars at all but you had to put one to be able to review
