Zager Guitars Anmeldelser

MY first Zager Guitar purchase was a ZAD80CE “AURA” Full Size, Black Lacquer
Special Edition Solid Cedar/Rosewood Acoustic Electric Pro Series.
It is a beautiful guitar. Not only is it a beautiful guitar, but it is also easy to play and the
Sound is unbelievable.

Recently, I purchased a second guitar from Zager, a ZAD900CE Solid Spruce/Rosewood
Acoustic Electric AURA Pro Series 50th Anniversary Tobacco Sunburst. I was not disappointed. The beauty and craftsmanship of the guitar and its incredible sound is awesome.
I am very pleased with both guitars, and I highly recommend Zager Guitar to anyone
looking for a great sound and an Easy Play Guitar.

Go to Zager.com and you will not be disappointed. They also have great Customer Service.

I am a new guitar player. I placed an order from Zager Guitars on 6/24/25 and received my order VERY promptly, today, just 6 days later! Additionally, after I placed the order, I had several questions that I emailed to Denny Zager and his staff in between the placement of the order and the receipt of my order. I received very prompt, professional, kind, patient, and helpful answers to each of my questions. I am very grateful for Zager Guitars and their staff!
Also, the guitars I received are very well designed, constructed, and absolutely beautiful in appearance and sound!
Thank you Zager Guitars for your beautiful products and your amazing customer support!
Sincerely,
Jennifer

I've been exclusively playing my Zager ZAD20E Sunburst professionally for 10 years now and it just keeps getting better sounding with age. And as advertised, it is easy to play. In fact, I just played a 4 hour outdoor show with only two breaks and my fingers survived - thanks to my Zager!

Hi Denny,
I'm loving my Zager Guitars. I had never heard of Zager Guitars about a year ago and I guess it popped up during a search. With that being said, they looked interesting enough to take a closer look. I'm very glad I did! My 1st Zager was a 9000 Dred which I purchased used from a Guitar Center in Baltimore. The guitar was awsome. Sounded deep and rich. Very beautiful too. After playing it for about a week, I decided the Dreadnought was too large for my body type. Sounded great but uncomfortable, so I bought a 9000ceom from you directly and am very pleased with the guitar. Sounds great, feels great, looks great! Sounds as good or even better than my Taylor 612c. Happy customer.
Next, I bought a parlor-size guitar from you, just to have around, etc. The Mahogany is beautiful and it plays well, definitely a keeper. Where as the sound is not quite as full as my 9000ceom I'm sure it will improve over time. This is my couch and travel guitar. Anyway, thanks for building such beautiful instruments. I'm so glad I checked them out.
PS I think both of my Zager Guitars were built in 2525. A very special date!!!!

Denny, this is a fantastical guitar. I love it. You might see some of my other guitars in the background. This ZAD50CE I think. It's all mahogany I know that. I plays so easy right out of the box and you say it will get better. That's unbelievable. I love it now. It is in perfect shape as far as fit and finish. I wanted the mahogany for the warmer sound and it sounds so good. I honestly love it and this is my first go to guitar every day. Most days it's the only one. All the extras are a wonderful addition. I use the capo alot. Thank you. I love that the case comes with a humidity sensor. That was the point that sealed the deal. Again the guitar was much better than I expected. Thank you for all of your support. Don Bell

Hello Betty, and anybody else that may get this email,

I believe my scrutinizing time has expired and just want to say that I love this guitar. I looked for every or any reason not to like it. I took it down to Guitar Center and I played some of the most expensive guitars they had. Most didn't sound as good as the free one you gave me with my 90 purchase. I am a believer.
I have not gone on the site to take lessons yet; although I plan to. It seems as though no matter what guitar I'm playing, once some warm up time has been used, I seem to make the instrument sound better. I think I'm becoming a better player. Developing some confidence. It's only taken 50 years. I believe part of it is because of how I have learned to play your guitars. Also a Mexican Martin and an Epiphone. But mostly the 50 and 90 I got from you.
Thank you for your patience with me. This is a major investment for me and I didn't take it lightly.
I wish I'd seen the Vegas address earlier, I would have stopped in and said hello. I still will if I get there or by Nebraska.

I finally bought a Zager (ZAD80CE) recently and I absolutely love it! I've heard so many good things about these guitars and finally decided to buy one. It sounds incredible both acoustically and plugged in. I've owned a few Taylors and I already enjoy the Zager much more, both how it feels and sounds. The case and accessories that came with it are way more generous than any other guitar package I've gotten and the signed photos were a nice surprise.

I also appreciate the BOGO special since I run a guitar club at the middle school where I teach. The kids love it since it really is easy to play. One of my students loves the song "In The Year 2525" and thought it was cool learning that the Easy Play guitar came from Zager.

I lucked out and stumbled upon Mr Zager’s website. I was very impressed with his legacy of guitar building. I purchased the Zager ZAD80CE “AURA” black lacquer. This guitar has just the right nut size to fit my hand comfortably. Making it easier to reach and accurately play cords, with no finger pain. I am so excited about how much I love this guitar. I am telling all my friends and music teacher. Thanks Mr Zager for perfecting this very excellent made comfortable to play, great sounding guitar. A very satisfied customer!!! Joy

Guitar is great. Customer service not so good and for that reason is why I am sending it back.

I have had several Zager Guitars. But my favorite guitar is the Black ZAD900ce/om That has been my favorite guitar so far. I have had the 50th Anniversary 900, The closest model to the ZAD900ceom was the ZAD80ceom. That guitar played so good, I have a Martin D28E. I can honestly say that the ZD900ceom is a better sounding guitar.

I received my Zager ZAD20E guitar and thought I would leave review! I’ll start with the case, very high end, would’ve expected a gig bag but instead got a form fitting hard case with temp/humidity gauge! The accessories that came with it are crazy!! Strings, picks, tuner and capo, all high quality!! Opened the case and found an absolutely perfect instrument!! Once playing it, I realized this was no ordinary entry level guitar! The voice projection was crazy! Playability was smooth and precise! As an owner of a couple of more expensive Taylor’s this guitar fits right in! The customer service was incredible as well. Very pleased with my purchase!

Beautiful Instrument and wonderful customer service you have to try it to believe it.

Zager guitars delivered a beautiful looking and sounding guitar. I received a ZAD900CE OM size acoustic electric guitar Limited Edition Black and all the extra accessories that came with it. I would highly recommend Zager to anyone looking for an easy to play fabulous sounding guitar.

I want to wish Denny a great retirement and thank him for my 50 guitar it is easy on my fingers and stays in tune for a long long time a buddy of mine love's mine he now owns one each of the electric guitars you can't go wrong with a zager guitar God bless Denny and his family I'm sure that it will last a lifetime and you will be surprised how long it stays in tone that says so much about a great made guitar. Dennis

Just got my Zager 900ce electric acoustic 50th anniversary 2 days ago, love the guitar, the fit the sound. Your customer service is number 1. I will recommend your guitars to my friends, by the way Lauren Bateman asked me to reach out to you guys and say Hi!

My guitar, a ZAD50CE w/ solid African Mahogony top, sides and back. It is more than I expected. The overall look is mesmerizing. The finish is deep and shinney. The neck is smooth. The fret spacing is perfect. The tone is rich. The company was easy to do business with. Denny Zager puts his customers first and adds his personal touch by sighing the back of his guitars.

Dear Dennis,
I received my ZAD 900CE OM Sunburst a couple of months ago. I must report that I own an Olson and two Martins/D-28 & 35, all of which are amazing guitars. However, my new Zagers plays like an electric guitar, and the acoustic value is second to none. I only wish I had played your instruments many years ago and now must figure out how to afford and sneak a 900 12 string past my wife! All the best as you begin to navigate/enjoy your golden years!
Sincerely,
Mike Adams

Dennis ~ I love my Zager acoustic cutaway with pickups. Yesterday I had folks in my guitar group try it for the ease of play, they loved the action and the sound. Yes, I too like many testimonials, have friends with Martins and Taylors and I like my Zager sound and action on the neck much more.
A pro recording friend said he liked my sound for recording over Martins, as he has to correct more on the bass range.
My comment to anyone considering a better guitar is order one, try it, try it free...I did and bought a $650 Eatman to compare...that looked nice and played okay, but I always went to my Zager...and sold the Eastman 6 months later.
Bottom line - why not try out a Zager?...Free to try!

All i can say is. Great guitar's at a great value. Extremely well crafted, very easy and very fast to perform with.

My husband bought me a zager guitar as the older I get it is harder to play with my fingers. This guitar is really easy to play has a beautiful sound and I love the extras they send along with it and it’s hand signed By Denny himself. I love the color and the finish and the whole nine yards never had a nicer guitar. Thanks guys the quality is great and the people are great to work with.
