Wow! What a wonderful experience we had with Your Local X in Rome. They arranged our whole day for us; pick up and transfer from the cruise port to their office; luggage storage for our suitcases; the 3 hour golf cart tour with Francesco; drop off in Trastavere; and then our return transfer to our airport hotel. Your Local X was awesome! Thanks to Cristina, who originally set everything up; and to Helena as well! The staff were all excellent! Francesco is an excellent, relaxed tour guide who provided us with lots of great information and details of Rome; he even stopped by his own favorite family owned bakery for some little treats for us! We had the best day - thanks everyone!

We took the small group Borghese Gallery tour with Mattia.
The meeting place was easy to find, He was very friendly and obviously very passionate about the gallery. The group was only 4 of us so excellent value for such an inmate tour. It’s absolutely worth taking a tour for the gallery as art has such hidden meanings so it’s good to have someone explain. I also loved hearing Mattias personal interpretations. Absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful time with Mario on our golf cart tour. It was a great way to see the city from a local person’s perspective. We saw places and views we would never have found on our own. Thank you Mario!

Maria was friendly & very helpful. We had issues with our villa, not Maria’s fault at all. She was just lovely & assisted in any manner that she could. I would highly recommend her to anyone. This was our first time with Vrbo & I think we learned that we have to ask more questions in advance.

My mum is 89 and has always wanted to see Rome. This was a brilliant find if you want to see the sights but your legs can’t take you!
Marco was fantastic! He picked us up from our hotel at St Peters Square and told us the evenings itinerary. He then asked if there was anything else we wanted to see. Mum wanted to see Papa Francis at Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. This was no problem. He took us from the highest viewpoint over Rome, through tiny roads and back lanes that only the locals would know to the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, The Trevi fountain and much more. Marco avoided the push of the crowds - even at night. He advised us of great restaurants to visit, and had an impressive passion for Rome and its history that really gave a WOW factor!!
His English was fabulous! but what was really impressive is that he could speak Malay to my Mum.
To finish an unforgettable tour there was an evening service at the Basilica di Santa Maria in tribute to Papa Francis by candlelight. It was a really beautiful

Dennis was a fabulous tour guide, he brought Rome to life for us during our time with him. He navigated us through Rome like a champ. His english was perfect and he took us to sites we would never have seen on our own. I can most highly recommend using this company again and again, Thank you!

Mario was a fantastic leader- we went on a 3-hour private after dark golf cart tour. What was so fantastic was his historian knowledge. He went beyond what you could see with your eyes, though we saw much of where he took us on other yours it was the history and in depth story’s that changed the narrative of what you see. Absolutely beautiful city, and his historian knowledge brought out even more beauty. Highly recommend asking for Mario!

Eddy was incredible. Not only he was by far the most knowledgeable art related guide that I ever met, but also made the entire time so entertaining that the entire group fascinated capturing the lecture. The structure of the guide was so well put together and well taught.
I would recommend you take this tour if you want to really learn while having fun- you do not realize you are being educated that much and yet take away so much from the tour.

Good communication with the tour company and a fabulous guide made our tour of the Borghese Gallery a great experience. The guide’s knowledge was outstanding and he made everything so interesting. Highly recommend this tour!

We did the private Colosseum underground tour, and Aphrodite was our tour guy. At first, I was worried about how much it cost but very quickly realized it was a great purchase. Aphrodite was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. And she took us just to all the great spots. She knew the history and knew the little secret corners of where you could truly get the best pictures. She walked us all throughout the Colosseum and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend 10 out of 10 would do again.

Eddy is a wonderful tour guide - his knowledge and insights really brought the art and sculptures at the Borghese Gallery to life! A very enjoyable tour :)

Eddie was a fantastic guide, we had a great time and learned so much.

I had a tour at the galería borghese with Dimitri and it was really great! He finds the right balance between admiration for the art, knowledge and humor. He doesn't just bombard you with information. I learnt a lot and had fun. Would do another tour with him any time.

I had a wonderful time visiting the Gallery, where Cristina (whom I thank greatly) provided some very informative and interesting explanations.

The organisation itself was excellent, with Valerio gathering everyone before the visit.

Finally, the tour was just the right length and covered everything.
