I was just charged 240 dollars to renew a membership that was gifted to me. I can’t get a hold of anybody. Crooks! Don’t do it!
I bought a gift card to their classes…
I bought a gift card to their classes for someone in my family. Never signed up for a membership myself, but a year after I bought the gift card, they charged me $240 for a membership ‘renewal’ on the credit card I used to buy the gift card. No customer service response to this issue. There is no phone number. There is only a messaging bot that responded with an unacceptable offer of another gift certificate.

Supportive and timely response
The support staff were very responsive and so helpful. Due to some unforeseen circumstances in my life I wasn’t able to continue to renew my subscription. I tried to cancel the subscription on my own and it apparently didn’t work. It was a little difficult to navigate. I reached out via email and let them know and they got right back to me and they made it right by refunding the charge on my card. I truly appreciate great customer service and when my circumstances change I will get another subscription.
Paid but not received gift card.
I paid for a year’s subscription for a gift card. The confirmation showed that it was going to be sent to the wrong email address! I have written twice to the support email and had absolutely no response. I am now thinking I will have to ask my bank to refund me as I have paid for goods not received. How disappointing!

Great production videos and content !
Great production videos. Every video that I saw, I was stimulated to try to do the same after. Although some ingredients are difficult to reach, this is not a fault from Yeschef or the chefs. As I do, I´m searching for ways to purchase those ingredients to elevate my cooking. So, it´s expertise and knowledge that you gain after all and I´m very thankful for the chefs and Yeschef. Highlly Recomended !

Buyer Beware - Distrustful Business Practices
Just had my membership renewed with no notification and an obscene price hike.
The YesChef account interface gives you no option to cancel your account in advance and unsurprisingly customer service is virtually non-existent.
Still attempting to cancel and have the almost $500AUD refunded.
The material is very rarely updated and many of the recipes are more basic than what you would get in a cookbook. Francis Mallmann cooks an omelette and calls it a 'tortilla', likely hoping that the exotic name will make you forget that for all the money you've paid you're making and omelette.

Hello Steve and Yes Chef, what is wrong with Yes Chef ? its impossible to get help from your support, its imposible to log in , its impossible to cansel the subscribtion, there is not any new content in years , there is feedback on trustpilot that say exacly the same and warn people for subscribe claiming its a scam... So tell me what is happen to your service?
A talking cook book from the best
This is a great way to see food coming together, especially the more usable recipes from Jamie Oliver. Yes Chef has a lot of potential but it's not there yet, not enough Chefs and no were near enough recipes, I am sure it will build over time. Website really needs a search function, especially as it grows but right now it's simple to navigate, looking forward to what the future brings. All chefs should do somthing for Yes Chef!

Beware the Auto-Renew
Despite having turned off the auto-renew option, my bank account was charged $300 today. I have reached out via email for a refund, I will update this review with the results.
Edit: Kevin contacted me immediately and provided a full refund. With this development, I can recommend YesChef as a great service.

YesChef has opened up a new world of culinary knowledge, to augment my thirst for learning new techniques, improving my recipes and laying a sumptuous table to enjoy with the people I love.
Learning about great chefs inspires me to try new cuisines, vicariously travelling the world through out the year by trying new dishes.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge so generously, small changes to improve my cooking technique are elevating the quality of the meals already, and I still have many episodes to watch :)
Beware of Auto-renew Money Grab
YesChef doesn’t notify you when your annual subscription is due. £150 was taken from my account without notification, warning, or even a receipt or a thank you afterwards! Why would a company operate like that? One that wants you to auto-renew (this happens by stealth when you sign up). If you look really hard you can find the customer service email address but they don’t bother replying! It seems the company is entirely automated. Look at the website, check social media, there is no ‘about us’, no team, no employees, nothing. I actually wondered if the company was still operating because they haven’t posted to Instagram since January. Messages are automated. It seems the CEO set up the company to be totally automated. Once you sign up you never hear from them again. They just take your money by stealth every year until you stop them. This has to be the most cynical online company ever created. It’s sad actually, they could have built a thriving community but instead they went for a cynical money-grab.
