What a crappy server. I created an account and you need to give a security question and answer if you dont want to give them your phone number.

I have bad experiences with this system and i already lost an email account because of that.

I don't want to have the same experience so I created an email which shares the answer to my question (they dont ask for a recovery email) and send it to my other mail. I can't. They tell me it looks like spam. But its not. it's just a short email. They restrained me from sending emails for the next 24 hours....

So i deleted my account.

btw, their security seps are annoying. They focus on not having spam accounts but it damages the user experience and i will probably not be recommending this provider anywhere.

The most unsafe and insecure server. Recently I created Yandex account to work for Toloka Yandex online tasks and regardless having quite a good password it was hacked within the several hours. Toloka Yandex team via Facebook confirmed hacking of my account. So I immediately requested its blocking. Good I did not enter my PayPal or Credit Card information. To be safe I invited AVG antivirus technician to check my computer for infection-I have a paid account. Luckily PC was clean. AVG technician said I might click some link and got hacked. I was really clicking links to do some task on Toloka Yandex-they were newspaper links. Later, after investigation Toloka Yandex said that account was not hacked but they blocked my account for safety purposes. Not changing my mind about insecurity of Yandex. The best thing what has ever happened there is blocking of my account. Yandex server -NOT recommended.

Cannot uninstall Yandex browser using normal uninstall prodedure.Ended up just deleting the whole folder and running a registry scan and deleting all left over "junk" . It seems to be a scam. Cannot believe it is being recommended by sites like CNET and Digital Trends.

DURING A LOCKDOWN THEY FOR 1 HOUR DRIVEERS WERE ACCEPTING MY ORDER AND ALL OF THEM MADE ME CANCELL IT. I GOT STUCK IN THE PLACE AND NOBODY TOOK A RESPOSIBILITY

Yandex give the WORST capcha EVER!

I understand you avoiding Bot. But JAPANESE? KOREAN? and even if I type in the right thing, IT STILL WRONG??? WTH? Update your capcha like Google or Outlook, for chris sake!

Terrible don’t waste your time. After spending time setting it up it would not receive or send any mail. No help available.

Yandex should work hard. Because I prefer google than yandex. Yandex not giving all answers to me what ı want.

A typical 'Russian' business, I needed to pay for a service to a contractor in Russia, he suggested that I use 'Yandex Wallet'. After registration, I topped up the wallet with the relevant (small) sum. Used half of it (the balance was intended to be paid on completion of the service). Tried to log in a few weeks later - it would not even recognise the existence of the account. Asked for tech support - nothing. All in all - I was defrauded of my money.

In general, they have a lot of useful services. For example Yango, it's much bette rthan Uber (as for me).

First offers with free API-Key

and after registration they say they don't issue free API Keys anymore. Take off old information from your website or you'll disappoint a lot of people

I can no longer create a Yandex account without a phone number because when I correctly enter the characters to the security code, I get this message: "You entered the wrong characters. Try again."

Absolutely awful, I failed to log in due to the wrong password used for my game using a yandex email address, yandex shut my account down and are forcing me to change my email password however it is telling me my phone number is invalid and has no other option for me to validate the change, I'm still paying for this game however if I'm unable to delete my subscription by getting through to my email, I'll keep being charged all because of this email provider, I'm very unhappy and very stuck at the moment and I have no idea what to do, why can't I use my phone number

Yandex Browser ist einer der besten und mein Standard seit Jahren für Mac, Win und Android. Bei letzterem ist er eine der sehr wenigen Chromium-Browser, die Erweiterungen unterstützen. Der Browser ist schnell und zuverlässig, Support ist auch vorhanden. Einziges Manko ist die teils schlechte Übersetzung, die auch von Yandex leider nicht an die Community übergeben wird. Außerdem eigenwilliges Drag & Drop auf die Lesezeichenleiste. Aber sonst top.
Die Yandex-Suche ist gut und ich verwende sie gerne zwischendurch neben Google und Duckduckgo. Herausragend ist die Bildersuche, die einen guten Ähnlichkeitsalgorithmus und Übersicht hat.
Zum Mail-Dienst kann ich nichts sagen, da ich ihn nicht verwende.

Worst mail I've ever used. Demands phone number verification after account creation, impossible to delete account, can't forward emails... Complete garbage. Try Protonmail.
