I found Yampu Tours online for our trip to Patagonia in February, 2019. We were able to design the tour to exactly what we wanted to do during our travels. The cost was less than National Geo and other well-respected travel companies. Karolina, our Yampu agent, did a superb job coordinating our schedule. The guides in Buenos Aires and Santiago were excellent. Abe, our guide in Santiago was in the top three best guides we have ever encountered in our many travels throughout the world. Every detail was carried out perfectly. We will definitely contact Yampu Tours for our future adventures.

Prompt and very professional service from beginning to end. They were able to arrange all our special requests like bedding and vegan meals. Would gladly work with them again and refer others.

After initial communications, Maggie at Yampu developed a custom itinerary for Peru and Bolivia that was well planned and then, during the trip, seamlessly executed. My wife and I have had an excellent 3 weeks Chilean/Antarctica holiday through Yampu Tours. The great experience started in early Feb this year. We originally tried to book the same holiday through another company but was greatly disappointed when it fell through after the company failed to secure the Antarctica XXI bookings. In step Karolina Guilkapi of Yampu Tours, who managed to secure a cabin on Hebridean Sky for us. This saved our trip as the Antarctica experience was a must for us.

We had originally wanted to stay at the Hotel Las Torres Patagonia but it was full and Karolina booked us into Ecocamp Patagonia. This turned out to be one of the highlights of our tour. The photos we took of Ecocamp were the envy of our friends who have stayed at Hotel Las Torres Patagonia in earlier trips.

A month before we set off, our plans were thrown into disarray due to the closing of airports in Buenos Aires as a result of the G20 meeting. Karolina and her team reconfigure our itinerary and made all the necessary arrangements in order that we could proceed.

Throughout the trip, all the pickup and transfers from airports to and from hotels, tours, etc. were faultless and stress free. We encountered a small hiccup early in our trip when my wife was put on the waitlist for a flight (despite full confirmation and payment). Karolina swung into action immediately and everything turned out fine and we did not encounter any issues subsequently.
