We just got back from a 14 day tour of Morocco. We travel extensively, and this was absolutely one of our very favorite vacations ever. Our tour guide/driver Youssef was just fantastic. He is so enthusiastic and excited to share his love of his country. He was always punctual and went out of his way to make sure we saw and experienced what we wanted but also what he thought were important highlights. His driving skills and attention to us always made us feel safe and well taken care of. Many tour guides we have had in the past gave too many details rather than the broad context of the long history and culture of the country. Youssef struck a perfect balance of sharing without overwhelming us with too many details. Also of note is that his English is so good, and it was so easy to understand him. Youssef became our friend.

We were on the 5 star package. The hotels and meals were fabulous. The riads in Fes and Marrakech were especially magnificent. It is so special to stay in these small boutique hotels that are such a part of the culture of Morocco rather than large hotels.

The service of the team arranging the tour was wonderful and always responsive. We have nothing but overwhelming praise for this company, our tour, our accomodations, meals, and especially our tour guide Youssef.

One final note: the optional ATV ride in the Sahara was a highlight. It was exciting, beautiful and so much fun!

Our group of five seniors designed our own one week tour which included Marrakesh, the mid-Atlas mountains, Ben Mellal, Fes, and Chefchaouen.

There were so many highlights to our trip, it is hard to list them all. We did not know what to expect and what we found exceeded our expectations. Having our own personal driver and tour guides were principally responsible for our enjoyable and informative experience. The beautiful riads and other accommodations chosen for us by Lorre and the team at EIT provided great respites after our busy days. The riads were especially fantastic with beautiful mosaic tiles, intricate carved wooden doors, beautiful salons with typical Moroccan light fixtures. They were like walking in magical spaces that we never knew existed. The medinas in each of the cities and towns we visited were full of energy and commerce and such a vital part of our Moroccan experience.

It took us a long time to plan our itinerary and it checked all of our boxes for what we were interested in experiencing. The routes we chose allowed us to see much of the rural areas of this fascinating country.

I seriously do not know where to begin. Before booking, I read many reviews and all referred to how much their driver had to do with their tour enjoyment and how they felt like family members by the end of their tours. Based on these reviews, I was hoping we would have a similar experience. It's trite to say, but we could not have been happier with Jalal. He was the perfect combination of kind, professional, informative and enjoyable. We spent so much time with him as we drove from location to location and he was so informative about everything from his personal experiences growing up in Fes, the structure of the country, the role of Islam in Morocco and much more.. We had so many questions and he answered them all with patience and humor. We truly looked forward to seeing him everyday. He was also always concerned about our safety and made sure everyone in our group was being accommodated. The trip would have been a whole different experience (much less enjoyable) without Jalal. Consider yourself blessed if you are lucky enough to have Jalal as your driver. Calling Jalal the driver is almost an insult because he was so much more--he truly did become part of our traveling family!

As stated above, the riads were really very exceptional. We stayed in Riad Diamond in Marrakesh and Riad Myra in Fes. One was more incredible than the other in terms of design, architecture and detail and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.

EIT is a superior tour company. Our group has been traveling together for many years. This is the first tour we have ever booked. We were so pleased that we were able to design our own tour. We worked with Lorre and she could not have been more helpful, patient and accommodating. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending EIT with a five star rating.

We had high expectations for our tour of Morocco with Experience It and even those expectations were exceeded. Our guide and driver, Medhi Aboussof, was the key to making everything work perfectly. Knowledgeable, multilingual, but best of all friendly, helpful, and engaging, he was indispensable in making our trip an immersion in Moroccan history, culture, and cuisine. He is now a dear friend, as are many of the people we met along the way.

Experience It crafted a terrific itinerary for us, and the riads they selected for us to stay in were simply wonderful. We have travelled the world on our own, never using tour companies for assistance, but we can’t imagine exploring Morocco without the expert guidance of Experience It and our great guide Mehdi.

We are typically not ones who hire a company for private tours -- usually preferring the adventure of DIY travel. But given our limited time in Morocco, having no Arabic or French language skills, we decided to splurge by hiring ExperienceItTours and are glad we did! Brian, Jill, and the lovely staff we met in Fez took care of everything and did a fantastic job of organizing our 6-day tour with Hamid. Having a driver and guide allowed us to travel stress free and enjoy the beauty and diversity of Morocco. Hamid was a wonderful balance of professional, charming and informative. Our visit was surely too short, but served as a perfect teaser for a return trip!

Spent about a week in Morocco 14-21 Feb 2026. Everything went smoothly, no issues. Jeff and the team were super. They took detailed inputs on what we wanted and liked and had done; suggested a couple of options. The vacation turned out Super.
Ayoub was our driver, young man, very cheerful and someone who genuinely liked his country, making the experience even more positive.
We went to Marrakech, High Atlas, a camp in the Sahara, Skoura, Dades, various small towns. Great food, better people, amazing place. We will probably be back, and for more than 8 days.

Love how everything was planned out so we didn’t have to worry about anything except for showing up. Rachid El Hou was amazing with driving and guiding us through Morroco for 16day. Also incredibly understanding as there were some time hiccups but it all worked out in the end. Immense gratitude and appreciation to the team in Morocco as well as those in state that help set things up. A birthday to surely remember.

I commend Experience It Tours for creating for me a unique, diverse, exhilarating, informative, and fun tour across Morocco. My typical MO when traveling internationally is to travel solo, make my own accommodations and set my own itinerary for broadest reach and maximum flexibility. However, because I would be in-country during Ramadan, I reached out to EIT to inquire about their ability to provide travel support, focus on cultural heritage experiences, and give me flexibility to explore. We are all home safe and sound after an epic trip around Morocco, shukran Experience It Tours!

I haven’t stopped thinking about the trip and the fun we all had. Hopefully Youssef, our brother from another mother, had some fun as well. Youssef MADE the trip, without his genuine enthusiasm, knowledge and love of Morocco it would have been a very different experience. I’ve told many people about our adventures and do my cherished ‘Youssef impression’ for them. Makes me reminisce and smile every time.

Your company Experience It Tours was excellent from start to finish, the packet of info was helpful and complete - good job Mom. It was lovely to meet Jill in Fes at the gorgeous Riad.

Some highlights, I’m sure I will realize that I forgot to mention several after I press send.
The birthday cake Youssef arranged for Lydia’s 70th was perfection. Obviously he was listening and gleaned that Lydia was all about chocolate.
We had Youssef make a few unscheduled stops like buying rain boots at a roadside souk, stopping at multiple roadside souks to buy 80, yes 80 scrub mitts as souvenirs for our friends back home, a quick donkey ride from a friendly local transporting his goods from the weekly market, buying 3 giant suitcases to transport our rugs home - I could fit myself into the suitcase.
We experienced a local hammam in Fes with Youssef’s wife and daughter, loved every new experience with ear to ear grins - and a few giggles. We did manage to experience touristy hammams as well, 4 of them.
If we expressed a keen interest in a particular site, town, view or product, he always took the extra time and effort to pull over, go inside, explain more or say “google xyz”.
We learned a lot about Islam and being a Muslim - without being too much, I have a new perspective which I appreciate.
When it came to haggling the Berber way, Youssef helped us get started but gave us the appropriate privacy to go it alone. We felt we got the right price where both parties came away with a win-win.
Ah, the dessert, with our Djellabas. Youssef arranged for us to borrow 3 from our rug shop owner for the night. Made for exceptional photos.
We always felt safe.
My #1 piece of advice to anyone wanting to visit Morocco is to do it with a guide, 100%. We highly recommend Experience It Tours.

A few things
We chose to go the 3-star route, which meant the rooms have beds that are typical with the locals, meaning they are quite hard, firmer than what we would call firm. The first couple of places we stayed I thought they had low quality beds, but came to realize it was not low quality but traditional. Had I known that was the norm I wouldn’t have had a negative response to the comfort of the beds those first few nights. On a side note, we treated ourselves to a luxury hotel where the beds were cozy squishy soft, relatively speaking.

We had an exceptional experience with Experience It Tours in Morocco.  Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the team was incredibly flexible and accommodating.  This was specially appreciated since we were traveling with kids and one of them became ill.  They tailored the itinerary to our interests, adjusted the schedule with care, and truly made us feel like VIPs throughout the trip.  Our drivers and guides were friendly, personable, and a pleasure to be with.  

Our 11 day trip to Morocco was the best trip of my life. Our guide, Hamid, took incredible care of us from pick up to drop off. We brought our two college aged sons and Hamid did such a great job in engaging with them. The riads we stayed in were absolutely beautiful. We loved it so much that we convinced our neighbors to take a trip this Spring with Experience It,

Excellent service

Our recent 10day trip in Morocco was our first visit and we were keen to get a good overview of the country’s highlights. We achieved this brilliantly by using Experience It Tours!
The whole deal of planning, choosing what to see and where to stay, types of tours and booking process were all seamlessly done because of my luck in coming across this fabulous family business. I was extremely well supported in all aspects, especially with the payment process and the way I was frequently contacted to see if I was happy with everything as the travel date loomed closer.
The information for travellers was extensive filling us with confidence, being important when travelling somewhere new. The tour was so well planned with great on site guides wherever we went and the accommodation and meals were fabulous. There was not one negative aspect of our tour and we would recommend the company unreservedly to anyone wanting a stress free, fabulous adventure.

We were in Morocco from mid Nov till early Dec 2025 and we loved it! The country was fascinating with wonderful culture, food and lots and lots of positive surprises.

Thanks to Experience It Tours and our driver (and friend), Mr. Rachid, for the good work in making the tour happened. It is obvious that they had good knowledge of the country and we felt safe throughout the trip. The riads that we stayed in were very comfortable and well located. Rachid together with the local guides gave us a good idea of the history, the culture and the traditions.

We are glad to have done this tour with them.

We enjoyed the peace of mind knowing we were going through a reputable company especially since Morocco is a very cash-based economy. Acquaintances of ours had used Experience It Tours and raved about their driver, riads, and all of the experiences they had.
Experience It staff member Jill even assisted us with money difficulties.
Our driver Rachid was very professional and fun. He provided many great tips to enhance our experience. We laughed a lot as well! There were 4 of us traveling together and he made 5,as if we had known him forever. He knew where to purchase souvenirs we had wanted to get without sales pressure and ensuring the quality of goods. Rachid gave us great restaurant recommendations. He guided us at every turn and was our official guide for some portions of the trip.
Highlights included hiking the Akchour Waterfalls outside of Chefchouen with our guide Lotfie. We loved Fez - the old Medina and its laidback nature. I thought the desert portion of the tour would be kitschy, but I loved every aspect of it from Riad Madu to the camel and dune rides and the overnight camp experience. Our last city, Essouira was a laid back and delightful way to mostly wrap up our trip.
Our accommodations overall were excellent.
