Zocdoc is super quick and easy. I’ve never had an easier time finding doctors that are in network. It’s also really helpful to see the reviews and ratings of the doctors beforehand.

I was able to book my appointment very quickly, they showed me the doctors that were in network with my insurance and their descriptions.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Zocdoc. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an easy platform to use. More importantly, real people were available to answer questions and provide the necessary guidance.

I would give Zocdoc zero stars if I could. The way their billing model works is extremely frustrating for small or newly established practices. Patients can schedule appointments, cancel, no-show, or fail to follow through, yet the provider can still be left responsible for the booking fee.
It becomes even more frustrating when a patient schedules specifically seeking a controlled substance or refill that the provider cannot clinically or ethically prescribe. If the appointment does not move forward because the provider follows appropriate prescribing standards, the practice may still be charged.
There seems to be very little accountability on the patient side, while the financial risk falls almost entirely on the provider. For a new practice trying to build a patient base, repeated charges for cancellations, no-shows, or inappropriate bookings can add up very quickly.
Providers should not have to choose between maintaining responsible prescribing practices and losing money on unsuitable appointments. Zocdoc seriously needs to reconsider its cancellation, no-show, and booking-fee policies.

Was seeking alternative methods to help relieve my chronic pain. So happy to have found Leah Li, LAc to help me with my general wellbeing and address my pain issues. She is very personable, friendly, with lotw of positive energy and very professional. It shows that she has passion for what she does. She is very gentle, caring and a compassionate clinician. Highly recommended.
