Friendly staff very nice and feed back was very good

professional, clear, and friendly.

The experience was great I received allot of help and was able to complete every step supper fast and get verified within one week I am supper excited and grateful for this opportunity

Staff listen carefully and support your decision making on choice of positions. They are friendly and considerate.

Good so far , when u ring up don't hestitate to contact zen and let them know anything you feel concerned or worried about they will sort it out also don't feel pressured to go to schools you don't want to go to its your choice.Also if other teachers or adults act bothered by you when you didnt do anything don't feel bad instead I viewed it as confidence because your job is to stay busy and keep children engaged.

The staff are very helpful and the app is great but it’s difficult to get updates for jobs
I think for some jobs it’s better to give a call and explain what the job requires

I joined Zen (External branch) a year ago and have found them both professional and friendly from the initial contact, through the application process, and into supply work. They have managed to consistently place me in daily/short term and long term placements within schools and matched my skill set when inviting me to take on teaching roles in a variety of schools and year groups. If I have had to contact them I am able to go straight to my booker, but if he is unavailable for any reason someone within the team dealt with my question in a timely manner.
Whether you wish to do daily supply work, or are seeking a longer placement, or a step into a permanent teaching role Zen is able to help facilitate this.

Friendly staff, reasonable pay

I had a very positive experience at the primary school. Everyone was welcoming and supportive. The Deputy Principal provided a well-structured timetable, while the class teacher was accommodating and offered clear guidance. This helped me feel comfortable and confident working with both staff and students.

I am beyond disappointed with Zen Educate. My onboarding process has been a complete nightmare from start to finish.

First, they had an issue linking my DBS to my online account, which took them over 4 weeks to respond to my email dated 3rd August and to resolve it. After jumping through all their hoops, my onboarding has now been sitting at 100% complete for weeks, yet I am still not verified to work.

To make matters worse - my assigned recruiter, Elliot, has completely ghosted me and ignored every single email I’ve sent trying to get an update and have my account verified so I can start working. Sending multiple follow-ups gets you nowhere - your messages simply get ignored.

The level of disrespect for candidates time is appalling, especially when people are relying on them for work. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for teaching agencies that actually value communication and professionalism.

Fastest hiring and onboarding process I’ve gone through so far. Everything is organized and easy to follow. I like the flexibility and being able to set how far I’m willing to drive for work. Hiring staff has been very helpful and I recommend anyone who wants to try an agency to start here.

The whole process has been wonderful, I'm a very anxious person and zen have made everything run smoothly and straight forward. I'm not a fan of phone calls and zen are perfect for that with their app system allowing you to control everything from arranging your calendar, payments and training. There have been occasions where phone calls have been necessary however the team are super helpful and reassuring! The name for the company is perfectly fitting as it is a zen experience when getting setting up with them and using the app system!

It’s been a very positive and supportive experience working for Zen. It’s very well organised but flexible and also feels like working for a smaller company as any contact made with staff is personable and friendly,

My Journey had begun Jan 2026,
I had arranged a meeting with Ben for the for the 24th January at 11am which was a online booking form booked the week before to have a meeting, I waited until 12:30 on the 24th January no call or email I did try to call him no answer so emailed him, to say unfortunately I have to return back to work,
Few days later 26th with him asking me to arrange a time with him on a day I wasn't working booked this for the 3 July between 9:30am and 10:30am
There hasn't been any communication now,
Not great service unfortunately and wasted my time

Started with a Welcome by Sue, the principal. She provided a tour of the school and what I could expect for the day.
Staff members were ever helpful and supportive.
Students were engaging and fun to teach.
Love the overall VIBE in the building.
