Terrible service, useless employees, terrible quality. The fact that companies still exist like this saddens me. When they say "Free 2-Day Shipping", what they really mean is "In a month we might send you a cheap item, and until then, good luck". But hey, at least they'll charge you quick... stay away.

While I always thought Zales was a reputable jewelry store, my kids got me a mother's ring from there, and within a few times wearing it, a stone fell out! Then, while there to get this fixed, I found a really pretty diamond ring that wasn't too expensive, and bought it. SAME THING happened! Luckily they had another one to replace it, but I'm afraid to wear either one now for fear another stone will fall out!!

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD THEY RIPE YOU OFF WITH THEIR CHEAP DIAMONDS YOU CANT EVEN GET 20 at the pawnshop AND YOUR BILL NEVER DECREASES NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PAY. TRUST ME STAY FAR AWAY FROM ZALES, ITS NOT WORTHA DOLLAR

Overpriced jewelry and horrible customer service. At least they are selling real jewelry but you can find better prices elsewhere.

It won’t let me give them no stars or else that would be my rating. Purchased a ring from the website. Read the fine print and felt ok about my purchase. A few days later it arrived and they sent me the incorrect ring. I immediately called customer service and was placed on hold numerous times. I simply want the correct ring sent to me. They told me that I could either drive 8 hours away to a store and return the ring in person and then wait 5-7 days for a refund or I could return the ring by mail and wait 30 days. I asked if I could have them ship the ring to the store and exchange it there. I was told no because I can’t exchange an online purchase. This is 100 percent Zales error and they are unwilling to make it right. I understand if I simply didn’t like the ring and wanted to return it. That is NOT the case. They did not send me what I purchased. This is their mistake. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told they could put in a ticket and one would call me in 24-48 hours. Guess what, it has been 4 full business days and no call. Basically Zales is holding my money hostage and earning interest on it while I have already mailed back their ring. I would have gotten the same customer service if I had a conversation with a potato in my kitchen. Never again.

I spoke with a very unprofessional girl name Danielle extension number 356781 to say the least , calling her a Woman would be an over statement. She was very rude and tried to Insinuate that I was lying about trying to make a purchase and her reason being was that she can see the items in my cart from July 30th with a total of $4337 , however that was a lie because if she could see the cart from July 30th at the time I tried to submit the purchase it would have been $424 dollars less. So she was just lying and didn’t have enough common sense as to how to lie . I told her she wasn’t telling the truth and to use her thinker and because she was as caught in a lie she got upset , Then when I asked to speak to a manager she refused and hung up on me. I then called back and got a very nice woman who shouldn’t be answering phones at all and since he’s calls are recorded they should definitely listen into it because her stutter problem was so bad we can barely communicate to then be transferred to a supervisor by the name of Heather who coughed every couple of seconds though she wasn’t unpleasant to speak to I just believe she could’ve stayed home with such a cough especially in this time with Covid Due to the poor quality customer service skills I will no longer be a customer of Zales which is unfortunate because my husband and I have purchased several things there including my first wedding ring and was looking to help my son purchase his first wedding set

I ordered a ring from Zales for my daughter's sixteenth birthday. The arrival date was for after her birthday, so I called customer service to find out the cancelation policy. I was told I could cancel anytime up until the item shipped. The next day, I went to cancel the item, which had NOT shipped yet, and was told that my cancelation had to be approved. It was not guaranteed. When I stated that I was told otherwise the day before, I got an empty apology and a link to their return policy. Horrible customer service. I'll never go there again.

Bought a ring and necklace online in May for mother's day. They took my money with a quickness but said my my stuff wouldn't ship till June 24. That day has come and gone and I still don't have my items. If I could give zero stars I would and customer service sucks.

1st time buying anything from there and it will be our last. My husband bought my ring and set up for delayed interest program and it was auto set up to take out of our account every month. According to them, the program ended 4 days before the auto draft and we were charged an additional $1,300 during COVID. Customer service was useless. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE

I ordered a wedding band. It was supposed to have come personalized it came not personalized. I asked them about how to correct it. They said I would have to return the wrong ring process the return and them ship the personalized ring. I’m getting married in 3 weeks. They were EXTREMELY rude to me. I told them it is their mistake not mine. Could they please send the correct ring and I will ship the wrong ring back and email the supervisor the tracking info. She told me I can’t expect to receive something for nothing. I never asked for a refund I simply asked them to correct their mistake. I was then told I could drive to the closest Zales and send it off and maybe it would be back in time. That’s 2.5 hours away. I will NEVER use Zales again

Worst customer service ever. Really they lie to you and then sit there and say sorry. And that’s it. No help ever there is nothing they can do they are absolutely useless

If I could give a lower rating I would. I placed an order online, and was under the impression that I received free 2 day shipping and would not be charged until it shipped. I was charged the following day (03/06) and when I contacted customer service I was told I would not receive my item until 03/19. This is two areas in which they failed me in customer service and provided false information.
Additionally when submitting a "cancellation request" I was told it could take up to 2 days for the request to be reviewed/submitted, then another 10+ days for processing and a refund to be issued. Then I needed to contact my bank. I was also informed that I would not receive any confirmation email or documentation, until my request was processed. This is the most unpleasant and misleading service I have ever received. I strongly advised you to take your business elsewhere as this company is all about misleading and false information.

On 3/01/2020 I went to zales at bay plaza Mall to have my daughter anklet repair and I met Mr. Ahamed he was so very helpful instead of sending my daughter anklet to get repair, he was so helpful that he fixed it himself, my daughter anklet for free I was very thankful he made my daughter happy the management has hired the right person this time I really appreciated his professionalism

I ordered an item, as a birthday gift, online. I wanted him to have it for his birthday and was told that he could pick it up in store. First I had an issue where I got an email saying that the item would not arrived until a month after purchasing (which would be a week after his birthday). There was no tracking information, because it said the item had not been shipped. Then suddenly I got an email saying it had arrived. I was happy about that working, but wondering why the tracking information was not up to date. Then when he went to pick up the item the store person refused to give it, despite me asking before hand if that was possible. I even contact customer service and they advised me to ask the store could allow a guest pick up just once. I of course had already tried but gave it another shot to no avail. She just kept saying a policy and I asked for her to show him the policy and all. Then, preceded to tell me they can "cancel" the order and then order it again and send it him his home address. I asked how long that would take, they said up to 60 days. I will not be buying from them again. This is going to be a huge inconvenience, as now I must take time off work to make the trip to pick it up.

Zale's makes claims with promotions online and via email. However the "coupons" and "special discount offers" do not transfer or make connection with purchasing sites. When one tries to communicate with the company about the problem, one's messages go into a black hole -- no response, no action. Evidently nobody at Zale's cares at all (about anything related to their business conduct). Let's go find a jeweler that gives true, personal service.

Bought a diamond and emerald ring on Oct 31st at Zales, on Dec 30th ( two months later) after about 15 times wearing the ring, I noticed one emerald had fallen out. Clearly, poor workmanship. Zales ignored my email and the hour I spent trying to “chat” online with one of their customer service agents was extremely frustrating. She refused to give me a working email address - apparently they “turn their email off over the holidays”?!! I still am not sure whether they will fix the ring/replace the stone for free! Agent wrote, “If there is no warranty or updated inspections that needed to be done there would be no coverage on your item.” She had a copy of the receipt- surely she’d know what warranty I had? If a ring doesn’t even stay together for two months, surely they should repair it for free? She would not directly answer my questions and came out with, “ As per the warranty you do not have none ( sic) since the Diamond Bond is voided.” Like, what does that even mean????? I will NEVER again buy jewelry from them. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a ring for Christmas and paid for express delivery. The website and support said I would receive it later than Christmas so I went out and got another one from another place and a day later the ring came in the mail. Returned the ring and Zales refunded me the money in a few days. Would’ve been nice to not have the stress and worry but the store was helpful. Online support should have been able to tell me when the ring was coming though.

Never had an experience like what I had with this Jewlry store, I bought a ring which cost $1407.00, in cash and after 10 days I returned the ring, after 3 wks I received a refund check which when I deposit it in same bank as the check is the bank hold the check coz they told me it was a fraud check... I went so many times in the store also called their head office and yet it's been 3 months and my money never came they told me when I went on the first week of September that I would receive the check in 3 weeks, and the check never came it's been 2 months and when I went back to them last week they said it was sent in the mail on October the 2oth 2019, but until now I badly needed that check and still no trace in the mail...
If I could give them a zero rating...I will give it to them...this company can't be trusted with their words...they keep on telling me lies....

We ordered a wedding band in December for my fiance. The first ring came in the wrong size, the second came in the wrong color, the third came in two days before our wedding after literally receiving every excuse about why it had not been ordered in a timely manner and why it could not get here on time, with no apology ever offered. Zales did not offer reasonable compensation, so we found a much better quality ring in a very short period of time and returned the one to Zales. Will not buy anything from them again.

I read the other review on here and elsewhere on the internet and got a little nervous, but luckily my experience has been really positive so far with Zales. My ring was delivered quickly, it was a great price, and pick up at the store was painless. Just sharing my personal experience.
