I stayed at YOTEL GLASGOW great hotel in the city centre very clean and modern hotel good food ...But be aware there is no TEA AND Coffee in your room and you have to go to the bar and pay for tea and coffee so take a flask for your stay
Parcel experience
So twice i was in i have a foor knocker car was on driveway but instead of knocking the knocker he hammered on my door at the bottom, the 2nd time i did manage to catch him before he ran of and told him to knock the knocker but pertended he didn't understand me. Well if he breaks my door as it has moved they will be paying for a new one
Yotel Edinburgh
My son booked Yotel, Edinburgh as a surprise present for me on a milestone birthday. Its quite a modern hotel concept & possibly one we wouldn't have chosen if we were booking for ourselves, but it was an excellent stay.
The hotel was very nice & clean, the bed very comfy and the staff extremely friendly & helpful.
The only criticism I have, for older people like ourselves, it would have been nice to have had a small relaxing chair in the room and the rooms are not as spacious as they should be for the price paid.

Scammers. That’s all they are. I strongly advise against dealing with these stealers. Don’t every give them your card information. Don’t ever treat with them.

had a great stay! The service was excellent — the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hotel is right in the city center, close to everything — shops, restaurants, and public transport. I would definitely stay here again!

I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff were outstandingly helpful, polite & kind, especially Olivia & Beulah. The room was compact but had everything in it that you need for your stay. The complimentary coffee/tea in the morning was an added bonus 😊. Will definitely be using this hotel for my next trip to Glasgow.
Scam Smoking Fees Yotel Boston
Scam Smoking Fees. Was charged $500 smoking fees 2 days in a row during my stay. Never smoked in my life, neither my partner. Flat out lie, and the management are brain washed programmed robots who have zero common sense. Trust their lying technology that’s 99% accurate? Well I’m 1000% accurate, did not smoke in room, that’s a fact. I will not stop exposing these liars until I have a written apology from each person at the hotel that lied to my face. I want them to acknowledge they’re wrong.
Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend
I booked a 2-night stay at Yotel Edinburgh for 2 adults and 2 kids, paying $832.14 in total. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
• The sofa bed was broken, and USB ports were not working.
• I reported the issues immediately and requested either a repair or a room change, but received no assistance from the hotel staff.
• Shockingly, the receptionist suggested we either sleep on the broken bed or pay for an additional room, which was unacceptable given the amount already paid.
There was no proper service or support, and the overall handling of the situation showed a clear lack of customer care.
Given the price and the poor experience, I do not recommend Yotel in Edinburgh. For us, it felt more like a zero-star hotel than the modern, service-oriented property it claims to be.

Roof Bar and Restaurant, very cool. Lots of 20-30's people in there, it just seemed they were there on the Friday night for a drink etc. rather than staying at the hotel. Obviously a well-liked place.
Check in/out was no problem at the desk. Reception staff were great. I hadn't booked the room myself so could not check in/out using the tablets.
This was my first hotel stay in a 3 stop-over drive down to Miami. The other two hotels were the same price, but were terrible in comparison.

What a terrible, difficult website to try book something as simple as a room!!!
Tried booking an 8 hour stay at the Changi Airport Yotel (which it says you can do on their website) for December 2025 and after wasting over an hour of my time, I gave up and booked a room with their competitor. Absolute rubbish website.
Word of advise to Yotel - don't tell customers they can book by the hour and then don't offer it as an option
YOTELAIR Changi…s$31 Surprise + Building Site
Booked a room at YOTELAIR Changi Airport through Booking.com . Total Charge S$160 for a 6pm to 9am one day stay. When I arrived got charged S$191 . I said total charge is total charge . You can’t add anything? . But they know they have you by the danglies as you need to stay somewhere . The excuse was taxes and service charge wtf. Complete BS .
Then to add insult to injury building work started at 6am on the dot . No mention when booking or at the desk . Just a piece of paper in the room . You have been warned.
Glasgow YOTEL
Stayed in the Glasgow YOTEL just for 1 night for a concert. The room was ready for us to check in early although the room we were given didn’t have a window which we thought was odd. We went to reception and just asked if there was a possibility we could have a different room and the lovely lady on reception sorted it for us at no extra charge.
Filthy room 2203
Filthy room 2203! The carpet was not even vacuumed and can see other hairs that is not even ours. The shower was not clean and can see the hair on the wall and drain. The room is super small and falling apart. The bathroom ceiling paint is peeling. The side table by the bed is about to be broken. There is no room for our luggage. The front desk workers were sleepy and not even noticed us when we come towards to their desk. The bartender is rude when we want to order pop and force us to order food. Terrible place!!

Alles ging mis ik bestel een kamer wordt het gecanceld zonder toestemming moet ik nog eens 7 tot 12 dagen wachten op me 90€ euro dan probeer ik het op te lossen zijn ze nog eens onvriendelijk ook kunnen ze niet helpen omdat ik geen boekings nummer had (omdat ie gecanceld was) werd ik het hotel uit gezet stond ik ook 3 uur in de kou nooit boeken. .
Brilliant
Just come back from a weekend in the Manchester Deansgate Yotel. Absolutely brilliant and would go again. Like the self check in service, the help yourself tea and coffee service on each floor is a good idea. Room was nice and clean. We had tea in the Motley and breakfast. Food and atmosphere was spot on. 5 stars.
Stayed at Changi airport property in…
Stayed at Changi airport property in Singapore. Absolutely one of the hardest places to find, and not aligned with directions provided. Smallest room ever, no sound proofing between walls, had a very cheap backpackers feel to it. For the money you are better off at the airport hotels or airside transit hotels. Don’t stay here.
Disappointing VIP experience
3 of us booked a VIP suite in Edinburgh.
Dirty tables in the lounge area, where we were directed to, to sort our luggage to be stored was the first impression, whilst staff casually chatted at the bar.
Broken coffee machine, which we were directed to initially as well, yet check in staff didn’t seem to be aware.
Lack of information about having to use the card to use the lift. Yes, there were stickers in the lift but it would have been helpful to have been told.
Minimal space in between one side of the bed and the wall. One lamp was not working so I had to use my phone to find my way to the toilet.
In addition there was no safe storage by the side of the main bed. No other lights were accessible from the bed either.
The other fold out bed had minimal space around it to get in and out of and there was a risk of damaging your limbs.
Again no light accessible from the bed.
Nowhere to hang any towels and 2 of the bath towels were initially hung by the side of the toilet in the cubicle.
No milk in the room nor any instructions on how to work the light display. We figured this out eventually and it wasn’t crucial to our stay but nevertheless.
Vegan options were not visible nor was there staff available to communicate this.
We called before our booking and where told there were options but that is not helpful when they are not indicated nor staff is available to communicate these.
Staff were too eager to clear the tables when we were still present and went back for further drinks etc.
Wooden spoons to eat your joghurt from made this very unpleasant.
Health and safety issues around the entrance when wet. One person skidded and another person struggled using their walking aid.
Customer service was appealing.
Given all the issues we raised I would have expected to at least have some sort of refund by way of goodwill gesture.
Definitely wouldn’t stay at a Yotel again.
Manchester, Excellent Hotel
Excellent hotel, can’t fault our stay in anyway. Excellent staff, courteous and keen to help. Room was great and I particularly like the ‘tea point’ in the corridor, an ingenious way to manage and ensure tea and coffee is always available, other hotels should take note and adopt this method. Good work, keep it up, we will definitely be back.
Recently stayed at the New York branch
Recently stayed at the New York branch. While I was not expecting much for the room, as the chain is style on minimal space concept (I imagine inspired by Japan), being a 6ft westerner I found the concept not suitable. While the skyline view was good (and worth the extra fee I paid) there were other things that need more thought. e.g. the light switch not being by the door is terrible and a health and safety hazard (Given the small room sizes as well), with the witch also being so slow to respond if you even manage to hit it in the right location (no actual button, but touch), it seems poorly thought through. The the window handle was broken and on my first attempt to open/close the window it fell apart (I was lucky to catch a loose part that could have easily landed on someone 24 stories below and seriously injured someone! (So had no window all trip mto open /close....problem at night in New York with all of the sirens and noise). The ai con was ok, but noisey (of course). The toilet door did not close all the way as someone had not thought to consider the skirting boards when designing the frameless sliding doors. The sign in screens didn't recognise my booking, and then asked for help and told they never work and just to go to the actual concierge desk and speak to a human (Person at desk was good, despite an unhappy customer they were also trying to manage). The novelty of the robot bag checking was nice. The Usb ports in the room are just USB-B and not the up to date usb-c, which most device in Europe now must have! Overall, this place seems like it was design only for 20-25yr olds who want to go clubbing and crash out each morning (the foyer even felt like a nightclub entrance). It was OK to stay and convenient to some degree for getting there via public transport. I think I will avoid Yotels in the future as they are no for me and need to be invested in and improved somewhat.

I would pay £140 to not stay here. I’m exhausted with another night of constant noise from the other side of the room. There is a section with no wall just a light connecting door to another room and lucky me there is a person next door being mega loud at 1am. I have to be up early for a conference and this is a joke. There is no kettle and when going to the bar to try and get a hot drink I had to give up after standing there forever. The pillows are massive and uncomfortable. There are no channels apart from v basic to watch the TV to drown out the noise as given up sleeping. Just wished I’d gone elsewhere
