We have enjoyed using Yachting in Sardinia for many reasons.
We had great communication from the booking office in preparation for our trip, we came from South Africa and didn't know what to expect.
We had booked transport from the airport to the marina with Yachting in Sardinia, the transport was on time and worked well for us. At the marina, arrival and boarding was well organized, we booked for early boarding, and the yacht was ready for us at the set time. The marina staff helped us get comfortable with the yacht and they were well informed with all the equipment. The bedding and towels were clean and in good condition. We also used the service to have drinks and some food pre-delivered to the yacht, this was great, everything was ready onboard waiting. All crockery and cooking appliances were in good condition.
We received weather warnings via email and messages, together with a better rate for the marina stays during some bad weather.
I feel we had good value for money and we enjoyed dealing with Yachting in Sardinia.
We have booked again for 2025.

3 giorni fantastici con Griffyndor
6 adulti-3 bambini, abbiamo noleggiato un Dufour 530, barca nuovissima con tutti i comfort del caso, procedure di check-in/out snelle e puntuali.
Abbiamo avuto un problema con il salpa ancora, risolto velocemente attraverso l'assistenza.
Ci rivedremo prestissimo!!!!!!

Ci fa molto piacere sapere che le procedure di check-in e check-out sono state rapide e puntuali, e siamo contenti che, nonostante il piccolo inconveniente con il salpa ancora, il nostro team sia riuscito a risolverlo rapidamente per permettervi di godervi al massimo il vostro tempo in mare.

The people at the base were very…
The people at the base were very friendly, that's for sure. The paperwork to do is supid. The boat was OK, with different little issues, like everywhere. I had the boat for 3 weeks with Crew change after a week and they charched us harbour fee! It's only the first and last night included. But the they took the money for cleaning after a week...... The base was at Punta Nuraghe...not protected at all and the worst marina I have ever been! And to finish, they accused me for damaging the bowthrust and wanted to keep the deposit, but the diver gave the OK, that it was not my fault. This was the 3rd and last Charter at Yachting in Sardinia

Great sailing at Sardinia and Corsica
We made a number of trips with Yachting in Sardinia. Overall, a good experience. The boats were in good shape, occasionally minor issues, that could be fixed before departure. They have a nice team, and they provided good support while we were away. We like the Dufour boats. Good sailing performance and comfortable stay on board. The area (North Sardinia, South Corsica) is one of the most beautiful sailing regions in the world.

Deposit fraud
I have considered this charter company several times and was actually generally satisfied except for the constant small defects on the yachts. But what I experienced in June 2024 was clearly deposit fraud. There was no communication at all with the charter company to clarify the matter, which is absolutely absurd. I will never consider this charter company again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

No invoice from liability insurance for damage
We had a small damage and put a down payment for 500€. 2 years and many mails later, I learned that they did not report it to their liability insurance, and therefore cannot send me a copy of that invoice. They send me a normal invoice, which is not accepted by my skipper insurance.

Il Bali era in ottimo stato, praticamente nuovo, e i dettagli dell'accoglienza come sempre sono stati ottimo. Poca navigazione a vela ma tanto confort. Ideale per gli amanti del genere..
Tender perfetto con motore sempre funzionante e l'ottima location hanno fatto si che la vacanza fosse ottima e facile.. Non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno di assistenza se non all'ingresso del porto al rientro a causa di un colpo di vento, ma abbiamo risolto al meglio.

Bad experience
The boat (Dufour 530) was in a bad condition. A lot of scratches, probably because of the bow thruster that didn't work, probably. We had to wait for hours until the most important things were fixed. Seal of rooftop window, Navigation lights, fridge, bow thruster. The out border did not work properly the whole week and after telling the staff, Yachting in Sardinia wanted us to pay for the repair. I told two friends of mine not to book at Yachting in Sardinia.

Vacanza senza pensieri
La Sardegna non ha bisogno di incentivi in quanto meta nautica, ma sicuramente la scelta della società di charter fa la differenza. Prenotato con un gruppo di amici un 4 cabine + skipper a Giugno, ci siamo trovati benissimo. E' stata una vera e propria vacanza, non ci siamo dovuti preoccupare di nulla, se non di mangiare e divertirci! Il sistema di "pre check-in" permette di arrivare in base con tutta la parte burocratica già conclusa, lo skipper si è occupato della parte tecnica e avevamo già preso accordi per l'itinerario. La barca era pronta prima del previsto, avevamo anche ordinato la cambusa, già consegnata, quindi siamo saliti a bordo, caricato i bagagli e il meteo ci ha permesso di trascorrere già la prima notte in rada. Spettacolo! La barca era inoltre provvista di dissalatore e potabilizzatore, quindi abbiamo risparmiato in acqua e ridotto l'uso della plastica. La società fornisce inoltre tutte le info prima dell'arrivo in base, quindi se dedicherete un pò di tempo alla lettura, non avrete sorprese nè imprevisti, ma potrete organizzare tutto per il meglio. Assolutamente consigliati!

Great Charter company
Our boat and all the others we could see were in perfect shape. Communication was great and the whole organisation of the Pickup and Return was one the best we had. They automatically contacted us in advance with all relevant info and there was always someone easily reachable for questions. We will definitely charter here again.

The yachts are well-equipped, but everything else is a disaster. I’m describing Marina Punta Nuraghe—other marinas may be slightly better, but not by much. The staff is a failure, there’s no infrastructure whatsoever, and the contract clauses are shocking and illegal.
