We had a referral to the Willows with an eye issue in our dog. Right from the start the process felt reassuring. As things turned out the eye issue wasn’t Winnie’s only problem. This was quickly picked up by Rodrigo the eye consultant. He spoke with a neurosurgeon Seb and they admitted Winnie straight away. An MRI confirmed she had meningitis. We were totally shocked and obviously devastated. We were treated with compassion from everyone within the Willows. Explanations of procedures and next steps were given at every stage. We bought Winnie home 2 days later with full instructions of how to administer drugs & eye treatments with a follow up in a week. I have no doubt that without the skills of the team at the Willows we would have lost her

Made to feel included and kept informed of all aspects of care and treatment throughout. Very caring staff and excellent service from Lluis and Tom plus the nurses and physios. Many thanks for looking after Dexi and us.

Very impressed with the caring and professional people who arranged to take the appropriate actions quickly to ensure Kai was diagnosed correctly and treated to alleviate her suffering. Thankfully due to the actions of our vet and theirs she stands a good chance of making a full recovery. Thank you.

Excellent service, staff and care for my poorly fur baby. I felt at ease leaving her there as i knew she was so well cared for. Fantastic facility with inhouse specialists and it was worth the 1.5hr journey. Quick response to an emergency referral from my local vet. The minute I arrived we were looked after and my little dog and were quick to assess in triage and continued care for the following week, tests, biopsies, medication to get her well enough to continue recovery at home. Absolutely would recommend.

I’ve had a very professional and efficient service will willows. My dog has been given care by oncology and surgery staff and she has been treated with great care throughout. I found the vet interaction to be transparent and thorough and very flexible in their approach. I appreciate there will be some associated cost but find the £50 administration fee to pay insurance direct somewhat excessive. Overall a very positive experience in what can be a challenging and emotional time with your pet.

Outstanding level of service and care from first phone call. Pleasant efficient team on reception, very welcoming and informative. Consultant was great talked through and listened and gave us options. There isn’t anywhere else we would want to take our dogs

From the minute we walked into The Willows we knew that our Westie Bonnie would be superbly looked after.
Bonnie was diagnosed with lymphoma in late December and over the last 5 months the care that Mark,Mike,Keeley and the team has truly been outstanding.
Mark is the most kind,caring empathetic person I have ever known who is also very honest.If you read this Mark just know that we will be forever grateful to you.
Although Bonnies journey may not yet be over as she is in partial remission we are confident in the knowledge that Mark and the Willows will be there to support us every which way♥️

Rodrigo is excellent. He and the nurse gave us the confidence that our dog was in good hands.

We have found the Willows excellent so far. From seeing the vet on Sunday to collecting our dog following surgery yesterday, all staff have been extremely helpful & kept us up to date on his progress. Thank you Willows !

I first contacted Willows when my dog was in pain and distressed 5 days ago, without visible sign of injury, but unable to move her neck. They advised to visit my regular vet the following day, which we did. 5 days on, my dog not only hasn’t improved, but her condition had worsened this evening - she is shaking, panting, in visible distress and unable to sit or lie down. We contacted Willows again for an out of hours appointment to be told to contact our regular vet during office hours ‘for pain management’. Whilst she does not have a visable injury, she’s clearly in agony and extreme distress.
As her condition has not improved we tried to ring again an hour later to insist on an appointment- however there is now no response at all - emergency phone number is left ringing without an answer, calling their service poor is an understatement.

I requested a referral for my Old Tyme Bulldog to see an ophthalmologist specialist at Willows. My dog had previously received two entropion surgeries at my main veterinary practice. Unfortunately these surgeries were unsuccessful, and I did not want to continue putting him through more surgeries without having a more extensive examination.
I was contacted within a couple of days of them receiving the referral, and provided with a consultation the following fortnight with Kayal.
Kayal provided extensive tests to determine what is going on with my dogs eyes and communicated everything to me throughout.
My dog subsequently needed surgery and was booked in within a fortnight. The vets and receptionist were fantastic throughout! I received several phonecalls throughout the day to keep me updated and informed. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. There is a significant difference in my dogs eye (despite only having the operation today, too!) His eyes are a lot wider and the staff took fantastic care of him.
I cannot thank Kayal, the nurses and all the other staff for all their support. Hopefully this was the treatment my boy needed to lead a comfortable and happy, long life 🙏 ❤️

On the night of 13 June we attempted to access emergency care from Willows who are our vet’s chosen out of hours emergency provider.

We called 17 times both through our vet’s call forwarding and Willows’ own emergency number - none were answered and all cancelled by their system.

We have since been informed by Willows that they experienced an ‘unexpected outage’ with, in our experience, no contingency in place to manage such an occurrence. In desperation we turned to their live chat facility and the incredibly awful experience of that was just disgraceful. And it appeared based on the conversation, the woman we were speaking with also had no idea the phone lines were down.

Our beloved family dog was sadly, and in our opinion, avoidably put down the following day - not by Willows, who will never be allowed any of our animals - ever.

If you are an emergency provider having basic contingencies for telecoms failures should be a given.

The care for our dog and communication was outstanding. Such a worrying time for a family but the service from the staff made it so much easier

High level of expertise and broad spectrum of services.

My best pal was referred to Willows because they had run out of both.

He was seen, tested several ways and a plan formulated for treatment - good job!

But….. oh my! The cost!!!

The Willows have looked after my cat for a few years now and the care is always fantastic. Kayal is always very good and looks after my cat whenever we come for her check up. Kayal is very professional and very knowledgable. All the staff are very understanding and always go above and beyond.

My cockapoo, Chewi, unfortunately experienced a slipped disk and was immediately referred to Willows. We arrived on the day and spoke to the very friendly staff at reception, and was seen by the neurologist within minutes. They took Chewi for a scan, and surgery, and the following days of hospitalisation. Each day we received a call from the neurologist Michelle with an update on how Chewi was doing. She was extremely patient, thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. When we came to collect Chewi Michelle met with us, and we had a discharge with both neurology and physiotherapy. They both advised we can call at any time for guidance, advice or if we have any concerns with chewis recovery. The staff were amazing and at every point I felt Chewi was in safe and caring hands.
