From the first meeting until completion, Steph was welcoming, personable and helpful. She was knowledgeable about the property but not pushy. Throughout, at times a fraught period to sell our current house, Steph was supportive and always got things moving. We have been pleased with the quality of everything in place so far. The proof will, of course, be over time on the property as a whole but, at this moment, we were very happy with the service and our new home.

Surprised that there are any good reviews. Shoddy workmanship, poor attitude and he charged a fortune.

During the process of part-exchanging and buying my new home at Princes Place, William Davis Homes have been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They’ve been professional, friendly, and genuinely caring throughout the entire journey. I received regular updates and felt fully supported at every stage. Their communication has been excellent, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

I honestly cannot fault the service I received — they’ve gone above and beyond for me and my family, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommended!

Really great experience, very professional and always helpful

I had an outstanding experience working with Mandy Johal at Lace Fields in Ruddington, throughout the process of purchasing my first new build home. From the very first interaction, they were knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly attentive to my needs. They took the time to explain every detail clearly, guided me through each step, and always made me feel confident in my decisions.

What really stood out was their genuine commitment to making the process smooth and stress-free. Very very good from start to finish. Mandy was fantastic with guiding us through the process with her very personable and professional approach. She also made great recommendations with mortgage advisors and solicitors. At no point did we feel rushed in our purchase, even when we had a sale fall through in our chain. Yvette and Bev at William Davis Homes made the process of purchasing a new home in Houlton smooth and swift, it took less than 4 weeks from offer to completion! They are professional, polite and quick to help. They treated me with respect and took the time to answer my queries. There was a slight mishap on completion day when a key set was missing as the cleaner had forgotten to return it, however Yvette rectified this very quickly, who liaised with the site manager, Neil, to replace the lock barrel on the morning of moving in day and offered their sincere apologies. So thanks again for solving this so quickly. Apart from this, the whole experience buying with WD homes has been a pleasurable and stress-free experience.

We’ve started the first time buyer process few weeks ago, and the team has been incredibly helpful, especially Yvette she is really professional and knows how to make sure you feel comfortable and understand the process. I will recommend this developer and even their home and design.

Originally we were not looking for a new build, however after popping in for a chat with Mandy, 3 months later we are now in our beautiful new home

Mandy made the service great, always followed through with what she say she would do, when she said she would do it. She was easy to get in touch with, friendly and empathetic with what is a stressful process, making us both feel secure and calm with things on the buy side. Thank you Mandy!

The only negative from the process as a whole was when selecting materials for kitchen surfaces and carpets, we were presented with options that were unavailable, which we only found out when we’d chosen them as a preference. This was pretty frustrating given the size of the investment and we didn’t end up entirely happy with either selection but had to make do.

Overall experience 9/10

On the house quality, not been in long enough to know yet (seems great though) but one bit of feedback, modern houses should come equipped with an ethernet port on the top floor connecting to the openreach hub downstairs.

After a setback with a failed chain on another property, we opted to move to a new, William Davis home (after visiting it many times!!). The staff were always polite, happy & helpful and greeted us by name, (Nicky and Mandy) which is a nice touch.
The quality of the house build is great (we've visited a lot of other builders too), high spec appliances and since moving in, it has been such a relief to just live.
I would recommend William Davis homes, go check then out!

I have just purchased a new property on the Wellington Place development in Market Harborough. Sue and Tracey in the sales office are always so cheerful and helpful. The Assisted Move scheme is a really good idea, which made the whole process much less of a worry, as I had the back up from the sales team and a financial incentive. The house has been finished to a high spec and came with a finished and fully planted garden. I'm very happy with my new house and the support from the lovely William Davis Homes team
