We were served by a lovely lady called Gillian, she was polite and professional, and went out of her way to help us purchase what we needed!

I needed a bit of help today in the Preston store, Gillian on the counter was extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction. I found Gillian was very polite, professional and very knowledgeable.

Placed a large click and collect order of about 50 bags. Unbelievably, ready in 30mins.
At the Preston store, Gillian, Hayden and Abby were incredibly helpful and cheerful. "Service with a smile" must be their motto!

Great store in Preston. I bought everything I needed to preserve my new wooden gate without problem. Gillian was very helpful at the checkout as I tried to negotiate paying for my purchases and hold on to my enthusiastic puppy! Thanks Gillian

Gillian the cashier kindly offered to load the heavy 50l compost and the 3 bags of topsoil into my car which she proceeded to do after pulling the trolley herself to the car. This was a great help as I normally try to just purchase small packs for ease of handling as I am no longer a spring chicken!

I went to the Preston store and dealt with Reece Kershaw. His advice was great and he was extremely knowledgeable / really helped me. Unfortunately we couldn't get the exact bathroom I wanted for my budget - but I can't reccomend him highly enough if you do need a design consultant.

Gillian at the Preston store was very helpful and rang me back when she said she was going to.

Ray came to our house and I gave him a brief lay out of what we was thinking , we met at wickes a week later where he had the full kitchen on computer to show us , his experience and professionalism was a huge help we would recommend wickes 100%

We have bought a kitchen from Wickes Preston. We met Kimberley Balch who couldn’t have been more helpful. She helped us to design the kitchen exactly as we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and Kim replied to our emails straight away. The quality of the units, work tops and splash backs are excellent. If anyone is looking for a new kitchen we would highly recommend speaking to Kim.

This is a split review. One very bad and one excellent.

After having had a kitchen fitted by an excellent fitter from Wickes in 2021 we had a very minor issue three years after the fitting; but well within the product warranty. The 'Wickes Customer Experience Team' (Formerly Customer Services) was appalling, simply appalling! A very very poor experience indeed.

The only help we received was from the Wickes front line team at our Preston Lancashire branch. Kimberly Balch was outstanding, her work ethic and tenacity in dealing with the 'Customer Experience Team' on our behalf was incredible. It was only through her persistence (after 6 months of trying) that we eventually received the part we needed.

The Customer Experience Team did NOT make us feel valued and is a poor representation of what we would have previously called; Customer Services. Get your Customer 'Services' sorted Wickes, and praise your front line staff for the slack they are having to take up for poor after sales support.

We are delighted with our new kitchen. Kim Balch designed exactly what we wanted and Carl and Adam put it all together in a very professional way.Adam especially did some awesome tiling and everything is just as it should be. Very happy to recommend Wickes on the back of my own experience. Thank you.

Our kitchen planner Ray did a fantastic design for our new kitchen. He incorporated all the features which we had mentioned and made some brilliant suggestions too.
He made sure we got the best price for our kitchen and explained how everything would work.
There were a few issues when dealing with the finance company but Ray helped us to iron them out.
We were kept informed of delivery dates and schedules. Our kitchen fitter Carl was very prompt in contacting us to arrange the survey and gave us all the information we needed and made us aware of how much everything would cost and gave us a date that day for installation.
We cannot fault Carl, our fitter, and Adam and Carlton. They arrived promptly at 8am each morning and worked solidly each day until 4.30 or 5pm. Carl kept us informed all the way along. They completed the kitchen earlier than expected too.
There were just a couple of issues which were annoying. The worktops we ordered were not in stock so could not be installed at the same time as the rest of the kitchen, however we were provided with a temporary worktop so we could use the kitchen. However as soon as the worktops came in stock Wickes arranged next day delivery and so Carl and Adam came back on the next working day and completed the job.
The standard of installation is excellent and the kitchen was left clean. We had an allocated customer liaison and we received several calls checking all was well.
One other issue we had was delivery of our floor tiles. We received a duplicate order and 3 different batch numbers instead of just one, but we were able to sort it out easily and the correct order was quickly delivered.
We love our new kitchen and are so happy with it. Thank you Ray, Carl, Adam and Carlton!

Purchased a new bathroom today and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish, thank you for helping us design our bathroom Recce Kershaw ! Would highly recommend….

We recently had a kitchen design by wickes in Preston. We had an appointment with Ray Lytton design consultant. He talked us through everything & worked out the best design for the shape of our kitchen space. Ray was very knowledgeable about all the things we wanted to include & that were important to us. We were very happy with our consultation & the price that we have paid. We havnt taken delivery yet. So will review once it is fitted.

Daniel has done a brilliant job of fitting our new bathroom and Neil in the shop was great too, really liked the way he wasn’t too pushy and that’s what mainly made us pick Wickes. Overall very happy and 10/10 for value, service, communication and fitting
