I recently had an en suite refit and used a coordinator called Kimberley at the Preston branch. She did a home visit and went through the whole ordering process. She was extremely professional and knowledgable and was quick to email back with any questions I had. Cannot praise her enough. The products by Wickes were of a very high standard.

Kimberley also chose the plumbing company, D-Tiled Bathrooms, led by Daniel, for my project.

Daniel and his team were extremely professional, hardworking plumbers of the highest standard.
The workmanship was second to none and would highly recommend to anyone.

Today, I went to Wickes to buy a pipe for the bathroom. I spent about 15 minutes searching but couldn’t find what I needed. A member of staff there, Bev, assisted me and was incredibly attentive—she was absolutely lovely and so polite."

Wickes Preston, called into store and asked a young man for help, he wasn’t very interested and sent me on a goose chase around the store. I spotted Gillian and she went above and beyond. She asked exactly what was required and went with me to the correct aisle and sorted out exactly what I needed. Thanks again gillian you were a great help, you’ll remember the young man I spoke with who wasn’t interested only interested in chatting to his colleague about going to a party!!!!

We called in the shop today to buy some post Crete, we found it easily, only needed 1 bag so didn't think we needed a trolley, on our way to the till a gentleman approached us and took to bag off me, his name was Kev, I think he was the area manager? He took it to the till for us and then proceeded to take it to our car, amazing customer service, we was very impressed and grateful for the help. We had a little chat then as he was going back in the store we saw him helping a van backing up on the car park. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

I recently traveled 30 minutes to the Wickes Preston store to return a large amount of bricks, only to realise at the store that I couldn’t return them because I had paid via PayPal. However, Lewis at the Preston store was extremely helpful and patient, allowing me to complete the return despite the issue. His excellent customer service left me feeling very positive about Wickes, and I would happily return and shop there again. Thanks to Lewis, it avoided a lot of extra time and inconvenience.

The staff at the store are always helpful but I must give a special mention to Bev on the till who always serves with a smile and it’s polite and friendly.

I was missing 1 screw on a hinge for the kitchen wall unit. I didn’t know if this would be a big problem or not but I popped into Wickes and so the friendly face of Ray again. I let him know my problem and within 5 minutes he comes up with the solution!! What a legend he is!!

Ray was very informative.
Presented us with lots of ideas and very useful suggestions.

We are currently renovating our house and have been back and forth to wickes numerous times for things we need. Gillian is always very friendly and helpful.

Gill was very helpful once we arrived and helped us until we left with the purchase

I went to Wickes to have a bathroom gutted and replaced.
From the outset, this was a positive experience.
Kim, the designer, walked through all the options, gave me time to choose what I wanted, but also gave me choices so that I could see different approaches.
The communication was clear from the outset about when I needed to do things, and Kim regularly checked in to make sure I'd bought things I needed.
The fitters were superb from the start.
Damian was really clear and checked through everything. It's a messy business, but Damian made sure to keep things clean and tidy.
The quality of workmanship was excellent, and I'm definitely pleased with the finished product.

I visited the Wickes depot in Preston to view their kitchens in the showroom.
Kimberley Balch explained the options available and following discussions between us she produced a design and quotation.
The installation of the kitchen is now complete and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the units supplied.

Very helpful staff member Abby, who went out of her way to make sure we found a piece of black angled PVC edging.
She is a credit to Wickes. Thank you Abby.

We were looking for a detail sander that was, unfortunately, out of stock. Gillian at the till was really helpful in directing us towards another branch that did have the item, letting us get the tool at the price we wanted.

Reece from the Preston branch was absolutely spot on throughout our process. He never pressured us in to doing anything, gave great advice and insight in to getting a layout for our kitchen that incorporated what we wanted.

I took advantage of an excellent offer on topsoil, and stocked up to reseed my lawn. I bought 35 bags over 2 trips, and I have to thank Gillian for her excellent customer service helping me to load almost a tonne of weight into my car! Really above and beyond, and to top it off I had a tasty chocolate muffin in return for a 50p donation to their chosen brain tumor charity!
