We have recently completed the installation of our new kitchen from Wickes in Derby. From the start of the process with our kitchen designer Reece to the installation by George we have been very pleased with the way the process was carried out.
Reece provided excellent guidance on what was available and we managed between us to create the best solution for our needs.
The installation was carried our for Wickes by George. George and his team were superb throughout and carried out the installation in an entirely professional manner with great care.
We can highly recommend.
We are looking forward to enjoying our new kitchen in the years ahead.

We went to Wickes in Derby to choose our new kitchen. They have many kitchen to choose from on display which helped us to choose the one we wanted. Reece Moore was our Design Consultant and he came to help us create the new layout as we wanted to change the look of our kitchen. Reece designed the perfect kitchen that met our needs and processed our order for all appliances required too. Nothing was too much trouble for Reece as we were deciding on details such as sinks and taps and we spent quite a while with him in store getting everything sorted.
Fitting of the kitchen was arranged with Mark Harris and the end result is fantastic. Mark worked with precision and attention to detail at all times, he also managed other trades such as electrician and plasterer. We would highly recommend Wickes to anyone requiring a new kitchen.

We purchased our kitchen, bathroom and en suite from Wicks. Our product manager was Dimitri who was extremely helpful and very professional we are more than happy with the end result. We would like to thank the whole team.

We came to Wickes to buy our kitchen we were taken care of by a gentleman called Steve Smith and I honestly can not thank him enough , nothing was to much to ask for and the help and guidance we received from Steve was just fantastic, warm welcoming and extremely helpful not once did we feel pressured into buying any added extras or add on’s that weren’t needed and he was fantastic at keeping within our budget, I would highly recommend anyone that is looking to have a new kitchen or bathroom go to Wickes go and see Steve what fantastic professional and gentleman he is.

Maybe it's time assistant Michelle at the Derby store retired if a simple polite question asking for the location of an item from an elderly couple in their seventies is too much trouble for her...

We got good experience to Wicks team specially for Design Consultant Mr Dmitri Mamajev . He is great person lots of help us kitchen design and other items. We much appreciate him. Much better price compared to other stores. Thanks again Wick

We went to wickes whilst doing a charity project for a donation of paint. All the staff, in particular Linda O was extremely helpful and we left with a range of items including the paint to help with our project. Overall they were extremely helpful and generous!

Monday morning and the staff at Wickes Derby couldn’t do enough for me. Ellie helped me find a trim that I didn’t know existed. Her product knowledge is 10 out of 10

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen from Wickes and wanted to share what has been a very positive overall experience.

A huge thank you to Emily Cassidy, whose design skills were outstanding from start to finish. She really listened to what we wanted, brought creative ideas to the table, and helped us make the most of the space. The final design is both beautiful and practical—better than we had imagined.

Installation was handled by Phil and Geoff Simpson, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for better craftsmen. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and pride in what they do really stood out. They were also incredibly calm and reassuring throughout, which made a big difference during what can often be a stressful process. The quality of their workmanship is exceptional.

We did experience some shipping delays along the way, which was frustrating at the time. However, once escalated, the situation was handled well and resolved. We’re particularly grateful to Kara, the Regional Installation Manager, for her support and responsiveness in getting everything back on track.

Despite the initial hiccups, the end result speaks for itself—we now have a stunning kitchen that we absolutely love. Thank you to everyone involved!

This is the second project we have worked on with Steve Smith. We were so impressed with his support and attention to detail.

Shaun Parker carried out and managed our kitchen renovation. He was extremely skilled, polite and helpful throughout the project, keeping us informed at every stage.

Very good and helpful service from Marlon. Tracked down an out of stock item and ensured and order was made and arranged delivery asap.

Steve Smith is a great designer and knows all the tricks to get the best result. Great people person too.

This is the 2nd time we have visited Steve Smith at the Derby Wickes. He did such a fabulous job designing our new kitchen last year, which looks fantastic, that we have had him design our new bathroom as well. Professional, always helpful in guiding you as to what will working a great job at the end of it. Would highly recommend.

Good range of products and choices available at reasonable cost. Store staff Dmtiri in particular were extremely helpful in selecting our kitchen.

In 2025 my wife and i agreed to Wicks to fit our brand new kitchen and a fitted bathroom into our new Bungalow well was this a wrong thing to do as we have had nothing but issues and would never recommend them. the bathroom had a extractor fitted which leaked water back but with the kitchen issues i am having i have not reported it i will hire a plumber i trust to sort it out.
started in 2025 when the fitter arrived and told use he cherry picked my install due to location, work began also taking a bit of work while working on my kitchen taking £1500 in a back hander payment i did ask for a recpeit but it never came. Once the kitchen was installed and the fitter pressured my wife to complete the sign of sheet so he could get paid the issues began. Washing machine wash back filling with dirty sink water making it smell like rotten eggs, fitters mate came back drilled another big hole in the kitchen cupboard and bent the washer pipe up the back of the cupboard, maybe if a angled connecter to the waste pipe this may not have happened, next issue my cupboard door dropped so did not fit or close correct after calling customer services i was informed i would need to adjust it myself and a you tube video was sent me on how to do it, what was my 10year warranty for a joke. issue number 3 water dripping from extractor over the electric hob, with this one i have been trying for over 12 months to have this resolved but still not joy. Wickes sent a engineer from Bosch to take a look as they still would take no Responsability the Bosch engineer said it was the worst fit he had seen and the extractor was fitted to high wickes ignored what the engineer had said the issue was. Customer services say they are customer focused but the are not, every excuse has been used, i have had to go to Trading standards, and citizens advise for help. I informed wickes and they have Ignored that aswell. i have been playing email ping pong for over 1 year and still waiting, i have since been given a option to have a filter kit fitted or move extractor, or £100 so i can get my own fitter to see if it van be resolved. £100 what fitter will do a job for that and this was the option given, know been advised the kit is a recycling kit to see if the dripping water stops but told this don`t use the external extraction which is what i require, i have been treated very poorly not as a valued customer, and i certainly don`t feel as proud as a peacock If you are thinking of having wickes do you kitchen i would thing again i will not use them again for any other work as they will not take ownership of the kitchen issues caused and dont look after there customers.
