Through careful questioning and listening, she quickly gathered lots of information and was then able to guide me in making decisions. She was careful in ensuring I made the decisions but also did not hesitate to point out where things could be better. She had plans ready to show me within a couple of days and when I went to the showroom was very helpful in ensuring I was happy with my choices, as well as amending anything where I had had a change of mind. December First 2026.Ordered a walk in shower. Installer could not install a walk in shower, instead built a step in shower. did not tell Wickes. Items for shower arrived 11 days before installers were due. We had no where to store them, as we live over our cafe.No garden/no garage and so the panels had to be in the cafe.Panels were the wrong size. Xmas came New panels came in. Packages were labeled wrongly panels were wrong size. February 22 after 3 months we get a working shower .We had to wash our son in a plastic dustbin and wash our selves in the sink.

We bought a Lifestyle kitchen in September with their fitting service, the cost for the fitting was over £3,000 and it was atrocious. Vicki, the design consultant, was great, knew exactly what she was doing but the fitter was appalling. The wall cupboards were too high and he cut into the coving to fit them, apparently Wickes fit the wallcupboards with a 550mm gap between the worktop and the wall cupboard to accommodate air fryers, we don't have an air fryer. The larder unit was not secured to the wall at the back, instead a 4 inch screw was drilled into the side panel half way down that twisted the whole unit so the doors couldn't be adjusted. The back corners of the worktops bounced up and down, we now know this was because the units were not level, but the Field Installation Manager assured us it would be OK once the tiles went on the wall as that would secure the worktop!! We complained the same day the fitter left , 3 weeks with customer services who didn't do anything except pass messages on, then the Resolve team, over 50 emails to this company including the CEO, we finally resolved and accepted £1,175.00 back after 7 weeks. Nowhere near enough but we had had enough dealing with this company. The Field Installation Manager was absolutely useless, took him 2 weeks to come and see the awful fitting then over a week to write his report with a few 'no action required' comments. We have had to have the whole kitchen refitted, the sink was so badly done the water drained backwards towards the window with bits of dirt in the silicon, and when we took it out it was bent and scratched where the fitter had put his tool bag on it over night to stick it down.
We are very angry and disappointed with Wickes, we thought we were dealing with a reputable company that we have bought from for years, this is not the case.
The complaints procedure is worse than useless, it takes far too long for anything to get done or to get answers. We still haven't got a functioning kitchen after 7 weeks, all our appliances are in a bedroom, no cooker, no washing machine, they can't be fitted until all the units are level. The fitting Manager said a '5mm step on the worktops either side of an appliance is acceptable" !! It is not acceptable! And neither is measuring a kitchen from the floor which is what the fitter did.
We were really shocked when Wickes said it 'just needed a bit of adjustment and tlc'!
So no, we do not recommend this company especially the fitting service, we have had to have the whole kitchen refitted, the wall cupboards lowered, new sink fitted, replaced the awful plumbing and finally had all the doors adjusted properly with bumpers and hinge covers fitted( Wickes fitter did not do any of this)
Wickes need to do a lot better.

Had an issue with something I bought, I had incorrectly picked the wrong item, couldn’t find receipt but just wanted to swap for the right item, explained to cashier. Their response and attitude was little better than if they had just told me to screw off. I said I can show transaction on my banking app and only wanted to get the correct one which is the same make and price but the same response. Went to B&Q and bought another. Never again, used to buy lots of coal and materials from there, later on I looked and saw the shelf was a mess and items were mixed up which probably was the reason for my error

Well this is my third review as the saga is still on going. The bathroom that we decided to order and designed from Wickes started in February it was finished in June after a lot of problems. The Plummer has been back a few times since then to sort out a few problems. Now we have a toilet cistern that doesn’t work properly. So we call the customer service number. Tell them our problem she then couldn’t find the item on our invoice. We then told her it never arrived with the order and that I had to drive to our local Wickes and pick up a cistern as our Plummer was right in the middle of putting the toilet in John Haynes our bathroom designer forgot to order it. Went into the store to pick it up John was no where to be seen and was told he’d gone to the loo. (Convenient!)one of his work colleagues gave this box with no paperwork and said this is the toilet cistern. Now we are having a problem with getting it replaced. No one has got back to us for over a week now. Usual rubbish customer service as no one ever gets back to you. I recommend don’t buy from Wickes. They have been a nightmare for us.

I have been going to Wickes ever since they opened it in Bexhill on sea.
There's a young lady called Emma who has been there a long time who is always willing to help and advice.
The staff in general are helpful as well.

I purchased kitchen items (cabinet, drawer, washer-dryer, and plinth) for £1757 from the Wickes Bexhill store in early August 2025, expecting delivery by August 15. The items never arrived, and my experience with their customer service has been extremely poor.
Due to a staff error, my order was placed under a previous owner's name, causing confusion. When I inquired, store staff and manager Alan were unhelpful, rude, and accused me of deliberately using another account for a trade discount, which was untrue. Customer service refused to assist, citing GDPR, despite my payment proof. A manager eventually promised a refund , but no refund has been processed
Additionally, I was overcharged—similar items on Wickes’ website total ~£800. This raises concerns about pricing transparency, possibly intentional. The ordeal has caused financial hardship and stress, with no resolution despite multiple calls and visits.
Wickes’ handling of this issue—unprofessional staff, poor communication, and failure to deliver or refund—is unacceptable. I’ve escalated to their head office and may involve Trading Standards. Please avoid .
