Good communication... delivered on time

Great experience from start to finish. I had done some research before deciding Wheelbase was my best option. The advice and information received was extremely helpful and reassuring. The ordering process is very straightforward and delivered within a couple of days. They look great on the car and I'm very pleased with my purchase and the fantastic service provided by Wheelbase. Thank you everyone.

Put my bike in for their Red service at Ilkley shop which is £129 . Left bike with them but then didn’t hear anything for a week so had to call them was then told it shouldn’t be long . Got a call 25 mins later saying it was ready to pick up which I thought was too quick for the comprehensive Red service . Got the bike home to check it over and nothing had been done to the bike . Total rip off and I think they thought they could just take advantage of me. No proper service was done not sure they realised I’m an experienced cyclist who cannot be conned , do not use this company

Didn’t have the best experience, ordered my wheels, they took a lot longer than expected/ advertised to come. There was an issue with one of the tires which I was informed of last minute, so ended up waiting just over 3 weeks, the customer service I received was okay, pretty polite but was a little misleading. My alloys arrived in three different deliveries, so had 3 different delivery times, one missing a dust-cap and none of them being balanced correctly, so Iv had to get that done myself. After spending nearly £1400 not really the all round service I had expected. Would I buy from here again, No. I have bought from alloys from LK performance before ,much better service, faster delivery.

Ordered a new set of wheels as I needed pen urgently due to a cracked wheel. No mention of them not being in stock when the money was taken only to tell me it’s gonna be a week ……. Then 4 days later they tell me it’s going to be roughly another week. Spoke to a girl whose attitude was just to ask if I wanted to cancel with no real effort to resolve the situation. I have bought a few sets of wheels from these over the years but this will be the last time. If they had specified before taking my order the timescale I would not of ordered ! Not the cheapest and also the delivery is shocking. Shop around is my advice

Needed to exchange the product I'd bought as it was too small, the whole process was easy and swiftly handled.

Great service, very prompt delivery

From the moment we walked through the door the staff made us feel very welcome. Fabulous shop, it’s huge and such a variety of bikes. There’s something for everyone.
We bought a Brompton folding bicycle at a very competitive price. My husband had a test ride round the car park. We were not rushed in making a decision. The lovely young man explained all about the Brompton and made sure my husband knew how to fold and unfold it.
We were amazed at the size of the shop, think B and Q size with both bikes and accessories ie clothing and bike parts.
Buying online is ok but buying in person makes it feel far more special and you get to see all sorts of bikes to choose from.
Parking is charged but if you pop into Wilf’s cafe while you are there for coffee or food, they reimburse you £3 towards parking. There’s also a nice riverside walk from the site.
Thank you to the young man at Wheelbase for being so helpful.

Simply Brilliant. Had what I wanted, at a great price. Ordered and delivered within 24hrs. Excellent 👍

Amazingly fast service and a good deal on the electric mini pump :)

They were quick to respond to my question and was kind and informative throughout the ordering process. Great selection of wheels and a bonus that they accept C2W scheme vouchers!

Super fast delivery and great communication

This review relates to the workshop only, sales is fine.

We took a bike in for some work to be carried out, this was done promptly. When picked up the mechanic was very dismissive of our concerns and patronising in his manner. When asked for guidance he insinuated that the problem was us and not the bike.

We have been cyclist for many years, the problem was definitely the bike, but he wouldn't listen.

Have been put off returning after being a customer for many years.

What pleasure to have a company that really looks after you both when ordering and after, communication was superb, excellent service nothing was to much trouble

Fairly straightforward transaction wheels and tyres ..stunning!!

Great company to buy from, had some issues mainly with the courier company and they sorted out as quickly as possible. They done everything they could to make sure I was a happy customer. I would recommend.
