Excellent car (Kia EV2), brilliant salesman (Abs) and lovely dealership. Really good experience

I was a loyal customer of Wessex Kia on Feeder Road for 12 years until it closed and I was redirected to this dealership. My first experience with this service department will be my last. They attempted to inflate the cost of a repair I had already signed an agreement for by ~185%. When I refused to pay the extra markup and held them to the signed price, they suddenly claimed there was no issue with the part at all, retracting the urgent "red" immediate safety advisory they had previously logged on my vehicle health check the day before. This is appalling behaviour from a company that prides itself on "unrivalled customer service." I have submitted a formal Tier 1 complaint to management with no response yet, and I will be escalating this to The Motor Ombudsman, whose Service and Repair Code they claim to abide by. Wessex Garages has not only lost a 12-year servicing customer, but also a repeat car buyer, as we were actively looking to purchase another vehicle from them. Never again.

I recently purchased a KIA Ceed from the Bristol dealership in Cribbs Causeway. On first visit Harry greeted us and took the time to explain about the car we were looking at and also explored similar options. Harry wasn’t pushy and gave us the time to think about what we wanted and explained all the details for us. We eventually decided to purchase the car and their service throughout has been exceptional. The new showroom was lovely and Harry is a really great and helpful person to have employed. I would definitely recommend the Wessex Kia showroom in Patchway and Harry is the guy to see.

I recently brought a car from Nissian garage Patchway Bristol. I was looked after by Abigail throughout the whole process. She was informative, excellent communication, very helpful, caring and I would highly recommend wessex Garages after care also excellent.

Fabulous service at Wessex Garage in Cardiff and in particular Neil Dale who was so helpful and walked us through the purchase of our new Hyundai Tucson hybrid. We highly recommend Wessex and Hyundai.

Phones ring and ring, communication is poor and not forthcoming, even when writing off a 9yr old car at 70000miles with recalls in the States the sales team don’t call to discuss a purchase, perhaps they could have won us back but given no one tried and phones are just for show, we would recommend avoiding at all costs.

This morning calling to get help with an ESP problem and waited online for ‘navigator’ help for 30 minutes. If you open at 8:30 am and are busy, tell us.
Finally had a response and provided details. Now waiting for someone to get in touch.
Phones the service line number to begin with. Waited online the call for 9 and then rang again for 11 minutes - both times the call dropped off. So much for customer service!

we found a nissan qashqai we liked we were based in south wales and i wasnt cleared to drive due to a car crash,abby was absolutely fantastic her and andy drive it here for us to see and then drove it back to us when we wanted to buy it,really nice people and great service, thankyou!!

Mistakes were made and the day before I was due to collect the car I thought I was buying I was told it had been allocated elsewhere and was no longer available. I had my heart set on Frost Blue so refused the alternatives offered despite being told Frost Blue was very popular so could not be sourced for 16 weeks. At this point Abs and his management team pulled out all of the stops and managed to find another vehicle of the right spec and colour elsewhere in the network and a week later it was delivered thanks to excellent work and customer service from Abs Khan.

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid Anna
I recently had my car here for an MOT, and it was the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time.
A member of staff named Anna was incredibly unpleasant, unprofessional, and completely lacked empathy. She failed to inform me in advance that my scheduled MOT would not take place on time, leaving the service unfinished and completely disrupting my workday.
Throughout the process, her communication was unacceptable. She expected me to find out information that was entirely her responsibility to look up, making excuses that she "had too much on her plate today." She even called me demanding that I pay for the service myself, even though it was covered and arranged by my company. Instead of checking the account details—which was her job—she threw the responsibility onto me to figure it out.
I highly recommend avoiding this dealership if you value your time and expect basic decency. If you do go, make sure you are not served by Anna.

A very good and pleasant experience from test drive through the ordering process to collecting the car and beyond. The staff are excellent and a special mention to my sales contact Rose.

Recently bought a EV9 from Ash at Bristol - he was absolutely fantastic - I went in over 3 days and will be purchasing another vehicle this week - the one observation I have is the management seem to barely exist on the site. I think every time I went in they were out probably at Golf no doubt but I really do think its probably worth promoting some of the junior guys who obviously still care as there is no point in having management if everything gets done when they are not around.

Helpful staff, informed about the process along the way. Car took a little longer to arrive than expected but it was worth the wait to get the car I wanted. Afzad was very helpful with all of my queries.

Amazing service went in to wessex car's sales department in newport, me and my husband were greeted by Andy Michael, I was looking for a hyundai i10 Automatic and I came out buying a hyundai i10 Automatic and I'm very happy with my new car

The staff at Wessex Garages Hyundai Cardiff were very friendly in both the new and used car departments. The team helped to explain the different features and finance options available. Ellie took over after I signed the contracts and despite being relatively new to the role, I felt that she did good a good job. Very happy with my new car.
