Excellent as always (though not cheap, but what main dealer is?)

Shout out to Harry who collected and dropped my car back to me. Always chirpy and professional :)

They have looked after the car since new. It's not easy to get an appointment as they're always busy but they are professional and competent. I've not been able to book a courtesy car the last couple of times and I live in the country, so this is inconvenient, but they do a pick up and drop off service which works well. Marius, the driver this time, was very helpful. The car is usually cleaned inside and out on return, which is great

I had my Kia Picanto serviced at Kia Reading today and unfortunately it was not a good experience.

I arrived at 11:00am and didn’t receive my car back until 3:50pm, which felt far too long for a routine service.

I also noticed that my car appeared to have finished servicing for quite some time, but no staff member followed up with me. I had to go to the front desk to ask about it, and only then was I told it had been ready for a while. Better communication would have made a big difference.

More concerning was the unprofessional behaviour I witnessed. I saw staff throwing car keys to each other at least twice, and they dropped them on the floor. After collecting my car, I noticed scratches on my key. Car keys should be handled with care and respect.

Overall, I’m disappointed with the level of professionalism and service and expected better from an authorised Kia dealership.

I purchased a car from Waylands Honda in September last year with a full Honda Approved warranty. The sales team were extremely attentive and helpful throughout the buying process, which made the initial experience very positive. Unfortunately, the aftersales service has been a major disappointment.

Shortly after purchase, a number of small faults became apparent. We were assured these could be fixed while we waited. However, the car was kept for four hours and, when we drove away, the issues had not been resolved. Even more concerning, we were told that some of the problems were not their responsibility, despite the fact that they should have been identified during the pre-delivery inspection.

One example is a corroded exhaust bracket, which we reported within the first week of ownership. At the time, we were told there was no issue. This clearly should have been checked and addressed prior to sale, especially under an Approved Used warranty.

Since then, we have made multiple phone calls and sent several emails, yet have received no response whatsoever. The lack of communication and accountability has been extremely frustrating.

We have now contacted another Honda Approved dealer locally, who are inspecting the vehicle this week. It is shocking how quickly the level of service changes once payment has been made. Based on our aftersales experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Dan , the sales person was doing his best to offer me the proper information. When I questioned my finance agreement in order for a better understanding for myself Dan went and called the manager. Being a manager myself I have found his attitude very superior and disturbing. Being a manager you hold the knowledge and the products you are selling but it's very important how you make your customers understand that. The ability to explain your products for everyone's understanding and in a professional manner( for me being a foreigner) I felt the interaction frustration. From that point on there was a change in Dan's behavior but he maintained it professionally. I still have to take my car back this Tuesday as they didn't have any mats ( understandable being Saturday) and for the technician to resolve some dents.

Sales staff were very helpful, Informative and Friendly, went a lot further than other dealers to satisfy the Customers.

Our experience at Waylands reading, is one i would explain as 'it was meant to be' we arrived at the dealership late on a Saturday evening just as the guys were closing up, we asked if we could just look round a car as we had been severely messed about by another dealership. Initially Jed spoke to us and tried to help us find the car, then he remembered it was in the workshop having alloys. He also had a quick video which was great and Jed let us watch some of that. Whilst he went in to check we started chatting to Jim explaining our situation, from that moment I felt he genuinely cared about how our experience and wanted to help and turn all of our bad customer service around.

He went above and beyond from that day he stayed late that night and helped us get a reservation down on the car and said he would call us on monday and check in and notify us on the car, which he did and he sent a blinding video over too that he had personally taken, carefully outlining and focusing on the details and body work of the car.

All paperwork, communication over the next few days was handled with ease. Everything clear and easy to sign and put through.

We picked up our car by the Friday, Jim met us got us sat down for the serious part and couple of extra paperwork and of course the £££. He showed us the car which i can honestly say was stunning and immaculate for a used car, he really helped us put faith back in Volvo after a couple of stressful weeks with another dealer. We took it for a test drive and I can honestly say a little bit of me inside screamed because we did it, we got the car of dreams and Jim helped us get there.

Jim is an asset to waylands, I didnt feel like I was with a salesman I felt he was someone we had known forever and he just wanted the best for us. We had great conversations, laughs and professionalism all in one go!!

If anyone needs a volvo now, I will 100% recommend them to Jim at waylands.

The team at Waylands did an excellent job of servicing our Volvo. The pick up and drop off service was smooth, special thank you to Harry who was very helpful and explained the service carried out.

Car went in for service at Wayland's Oxford Volvo. Service, software update and MoT which I'd forgotten about. They rang before to remind me about the pickup, Phil arrived promptly at 8 took the car. They rang to confirm what was to be done after the car had arrived and they sent a report and video of the car condition inspection and Phil brought the car back in good time (around 3:30). Explained about the software update and that it would look different.
No complaints, excellent service.

Harry gets the 4 stars! The man is fabulous and took the sting out of a nightmare interaction with Waylands Oxford (usually they get 4 stars too but sadly not this time)

I handed back my company car (a Polestar) and decided it was such a good car that I had to buy one.
Finding one less than two years old on the website, I decided to buy it.
I arrived at Waylands in Glocester to pick the car up. I was offered coffee and waited a short time for Kevin who was dealinng with the purchase.
He quickly completed the paperwork and helped me to add the car to the app on my phone.
His customer service was incredible. No rushing, friendly and very helpful

Excellent Experience with Waylands Volvo Oxford I just purchased and took delivery of a preowned XC40 service I received for my first inquiry to hand over.
Test drove and bought a preowned XC40.
With the sales executive Tim Dunstones guidance the whole experience was brilliant All questions answered and communications was excellent the car was not at the garage when I turned up to look at it but was brought up for me to look at within 20 minutes Tim even managed to squeeze me in for a test drive that day
Handover was excellent with Tim explaining the operation and settings of the vehicle.
Tim contacted me afterwards to make sure I happy with the vehicle and to contact him if I had any further questions.

Great Experience from Jed at Waylands. From initial enquiry to delivery of the car. So easy to deal with.

I visited Waylands Bristol for MOT and service. Every member of staff I encountered were welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond arranging to take me to and from the local shopping mall whilst my car was being seen to. I also decided during this visit to part exchange my car for a newer model. Sales executive Tom May was brilliant explaining all of my options. Communication via telephone and e mail was excellent and a week later I have a new car. Well done Waylands. 10/10 service.

Harry is such a wonderful delivery driver. He arrived on time, showed so much respect and helped me out with an issue with my car that cropped up when he took photos before driving my car to Oxford. He gave really helpful advice and worked a very long day to get my car back to me on the same day. Really approachable and EXCELLENT service. Waylands Oxford take so much time to help and guide and are very professional too
