Absolute scam. Avoid this company.
The terrible online reviews are completely accurate, this company will find any excuse to avoid helping you. I have already decided not to renew the warranty on my second car, and I will absolutely not be renewing this one either. Do not waste your money here. They are quick to take your money but useless when you actually need them.
First class company, very professional.
Elisha Jackson (Senior Claims Advisor) is an absolute diamond, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you Elisha! 👍

Ethan was very helpful in explaining the service, and he answered all my questions. A good job!

Rosie was not helpful at all. replies with one liners stating how they are unable to help and no advise on how to move forward and no further information given.
Excellent service from Warranties 2000. Ethan was great throughout the renewal process and went above and beyond to get everything sorted. He patiently worked through some email and URL issues and kept me updated along the way.
I felt the renewal was worthwhile as I previously had an issue with the oil pump on my car, which Warranties 2000 reimbursed after the repair was completed. My advice would be to follow their claims process and obtain approval before any work is carried out. If in any doubt, give them a call, I found them helpful and easy to deal with.
My car is getting older, and with both used and new car prices remaining high, spending around £200 a year for peace of mind is worth it in my book.
Professional, helpful, and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

This was the FOURTH vehicle we had purchased from V12. - Purchased their extended warranty with warranties 2000.
We returned because we trusted them. That trust has been completely destroyed.
We paid approximately £22,000 for this vehicle in September 2025. On the day of collection, we spent over seven hours at the dealership and were unable to test drive the car due to battery issues. The first proper drive took place only after the sale had been completed.
Within around 20 minutes of leaving the dealership, we discovered issues with the windscreen and reported them immediately. We were told aftersales would deal with it. They didn’t. We ended up paying for the replacement ourselves.
Within days of purchase, the engine warning light appeared. We have photographic evidence showing the warning light illuminated approximately five days after taking delivery. The issue continued intermittently throughout ownership before becoming progressively worse.
After months of chasing, countless phone calls, repeated delays and waiting approximately two months for a Jaguar Land Rover diagnostic appointment, the vehicle has now been diagnosed and Jaguar Land Rover have advised that it should not be driven.
The vehicle is currently off the road.
What makes this even more frustrating is that V12’s position was that they required diagnostic evidence before reviewing the matter. We obtained that evidence. We provided photographs showing the engine warning light appeared within days of purchase. We provided the diagnostic report. We provided supporting information.
Despite all of this, we have spent months being passed between V12, warranty providers and repairers whilst trying to get somebody to take responsibility.
I appreciate that faults can occur on used vehicles. What I do not accept is paying £22,000 for a vehicle that began displaying engine faults within days of purchase and then having to spend months fighting to get meaningful assistance.
This has been, without question, the worst vehicle ownership experience we have ever had.
For a company that happily took our money for four separate vehicle purchases, the aftersales support has been nothing short of appalling.
Klaira in renewals has been nothing but patient, helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to deal with when renewing for 2 vehicles.
No pressure, just helpful and good for a natter too.
Shame she drives a Hyundai i10 really

Michelle has always been very prompt and efficient at anything we have asked for regarding our account with warranties 2000. We would highly recommend warranties 2000.

I bought warranty through this company as part of a package on buying my car a year ago. Had I known what I now know, I wouldn't have bothered and would have gone with a more reputable company.
After 2 weeks of trying to resolve a claim, myself and the garage are no closer to gaining any resolution. The response times to queries are terrible, much longer than 48 hours, and the phone lines are constantly busy. After 72 hours of waiting for a response to my initial email wishing to pursue a claim, I was informed to take my car for diagnostics at a local garage, but due to this being a serious electrical issue in a Mini, no local garage would look at this and all told me I would need to go to a Mini specialist.
I was eventually given a number for Mini to contact Warranties 2000 to discuss the claim, which was useless; after Mini and myself making multiple attempts to ring and being on hold for 30 minutes plus at a time (on occasions being cut off), there has been no interaction with a human being. Mini and myself have sent multiple emails, including requested diagnostic information and an itemised estimate for the work required, again to radio silence.
I don't understand how a company can expect so much time and effort from customers or garages to go into resolving a claim- the garage have other customers to deal with and it is unreasonable to expect them to keep their phone lines occupied for so long, and most importantly it is unreasonable to expect me as a customer to wait such a long time for a response on whether my claim will be authorised. Common sense would be that a specific person would be dealing with my claim, but all email correspondence is anonymous and there is no indication that anyone is managing the claim from start to finish.
I could no longer wait for a response as being able to use my car is a necessity- I am a Mum who works as a full time Community Nurse and have no access to another car. I have therefore needed to find £1.1k to get the work completed, and I'll be highly surprised if I get any of this back given what I have seen in other reviews. I have not been able to submit a formal complaint as the company is not transparent enough to provide details on how to pursue this, and I suspect I still wouldn't get a timely response or resolution.
On the basis of what I have seen of other negative reviews, the only way to get any response from this company is by submitting a review, as clearly their ratings are more important to them than ensuring customer satisfaction when a claim has been submitted.
I still have just under a year left with this company, but certainly will not be renewing at the end of this period.
Update 18/06/2026: 2 weeks later I am yet to have any update regarding my claim other than an email yesterday requesting my service history. This was 72 hours after I had asked for an update to an email I sent 10 days ago.
Sales process was fine, if a little long.
After sales, I purchased the 3 year warranty. You are given an app to raise issues with. Nobody ever replies. If you use the app to chase a response, it goes to Big Motoring World directly not Warranties 2000. They then tell you as 3 months have passed to contact Warranties 2000 (I DID! Your APP sent me to you!) and give you the email address.
Over the 2 weeks since raising my warranty issue, I have emailed 3 times, each time I get a response telling me they will get back in 24-48 hours. Nothing. No response.
I called the help line, after 50 minutes on hold I was disconnected. If phoned the Urgent line for claims, 1 hour 20 minutes later, nothing.
This is the hardest company to get hold of. I just want a response. I'm fairly sure they're just going to tell me to get a diagnosis so they can then approve/reject any work. Why is it so hard to just get that confirmation?
My car currently cannot be safely driven, and it's due for the MOT TOMORROW!
At this point in time, this is the worst after-care warranty service I have ever received. And I've used Ryan Air.
Horrendous service from Big motoring world, several emails sent and several phone calls made and still awaiting a respsonse
Leeanne was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. She also explained all the details of the policy
