Please read this before you switch to Vodafone high speed Broadband

So I switched from VM to Vodafone high speed full fibre Broadband with promised speeds of 910mbs and that i definitely wouldn't need a booster to cover the entire bungalow and would easily cover over 30 metres.
After the installation I was told it needed to settle down.
So over the next 48 hours of my Broadband settling down i could only get 250mbs if I was standing over the hub this was no were near the 910mbs I was promised.
Not only that my bedroom was 7 metres away from the Broadband and I could see the hub there were no walls between the hum and my phone and I could only get 10mbs that's 10meg.
If I sat on my bed I got zero it just wouldn't connect. And it also wouldn't connect in my son's bedroom.
When I spoke to Vodafone they said
This Is An Acceptable Speed. i was absolutely shattered we couldn't use our Broadband in our bedroom.
I can get 450mbs with my sim card talkmobile.
They wasn't interested and told me I had to upgrade my package and would cost me more money. I asked them for a booster to help with the coverage in my bedroom and told me NO.
So I have cancelled it.
If anyone is about to get Vodafone Broadband please please 🙏 😢 think again these are absolutely the worst provider with no help what so ever. I would have given them a zero if I could.
Go elsewhere please don't use Vodafone.

Customer service is shite

Customer service is shite, cannot login on app, cannot login on web browser, TOBi just keeps sending round in circles, the whole system is absolutely SHITE

Absolutely appalling customer ‘care’…

Absolutely appalling customer ‘care’ just trying to get someone on the phone who initially understands the problem is non existent! Then when you finally manage to make yourself understood you are given the same ‘troubleshooting’ tips that don’t work, it’s doing my head in!!

I don’t recommend it at all
Please better go for Nomad eSIM , its speed is too good, reliable.

Excruciating Admin

Its so difficult dealing with Vodafone - I have been billed for 2 years for a product that im not using. When I use Tobi I cant share my ID and therefore cannot cancel the contract. The advisor who came on the call could not even find the account. Use Vodafone at your peril

Just a despicable company

Just a despicable company. If I had a time machine, the very first thing I would so9 would be to go back and convince myself not to use Vodafone, I don’t even care that every time travel movie ever says not to interact with your past self, it would be worth it.

AWFUL

AWFUL - TOBY Is horrendous. The automated system is the worse customer service I have ever encountered. Just need to speak to someone but you are AWFUL.

Systemic Incompetence and Weaponized Credit Reporting: Avoid Vodafone

If I could give Vodafone zero stars, I would.
My contract legally ended in January, and I paid my final balance in full to conclude all services by February. Despite this, Vodafone claimed they never received my notice and demanded an additional month of payment—for a period where I was already with a new provider and using zero Vodafone data or minutes.
I rightfully refused to pay for a non-existent service and formally escalated the issue to their complaints team. Instead of resolving the dispute internally, Vodafone outsourced the alleged "debt" to a collection agency and marked my credit file with a missed payment.
The credit reporting system is meant to flag financial irresponsibility, but here, it is being actively abused to punish a customer for Vodafone’s own administrative incompetence. After five years of loyalty, this is how I was treated. I will never return to Vodafone, and I strongly advise others to monitor their credit files closely if they attempt to leave.

Vodafone is cheating customers. They attended call from Oman once and then did not even attend call on customer care. Useless service

broadbandless

Internet went down yesterday lunch time... to get any idea I have to battle with a bot and then online chat using my mobile data to be told wait 24hrs... still no internet... more chat more hours wasted... to be told it'll be back in two hours... still not... more bots but this time I get told it's too late try again tomorrow... absolutely shocking! Surely I can get out of this dreadful contract, my wifi has never been good anyway

Disgusting level of customer care

Awful!

What can I say about this provider been, I've been with vodafone for about 10 years. And the cusotmer care is disgusting, I wont get into details as I have better things to do with my life.

All i am gonna say is like all other giant companies are happy to take your money with little to no resolutions. I am vulnerabile and broke, the circumstances were not even 1x considered.

An overhaul of customer care needs to be reviews.

I've been a Vodafone customer for well…30+ years of loyalty, but customer service has become unbearable

I've been a Vodafone customer for well over 30 years—longer than Vodafone's own records appear to go back. Sadly, the customer service has deteriorated to the point where I'm now seriously considering moving to another provider.

My latest experience summed up everything that's gone wrong.

I called because my mobile number appeared to be being cloned. As a cyber security consultant, this was an extremely serious issue, and the reason for my call was to report suspected fraud on my account. Instead of dealing with that, the adviser was more concerned about collecting a payment that was only a few days overdue, despite me explaining that I would pay it the following day.

The next day I couldn't even pay online because Vodafone wanted to send a verification code to the very mobile number that had been cut off.

Trying to get help was an exercise in frustration. Customer Services repeatedly directed me to TOBi, but after spending ages navigating a chatbot that couldn't answer my questions, TOBi simply sent me back to Customer Services, who kept telling me to "go online" or "use the app"—the very services I was explaining I couldn't use.

All I wanted to do was:

Report suspected fraud.
Pay my bill.

Instead, Vodafone seemed intent on asking endless scripted questions while failing to address either issue.

Eventually I found a payment reminder email in Gmail and attempted to pay using the link provided. After clicking "Pay", the website simply displayed:

"Oops. We can't find that page."

I had no idea whether the payment had gone through or not.

I contacted customer support again and explained exactly what had happened. Rather than answering my straightforward question—"Has my payment been received?"—the agent continued asking unrelated questions. Only after a lengthy exchange did someone finally confirm the payment status and send me a working payment link.

This isn't an isolated incident. Over recent years I've had one poor experience after another, and this latest one finally convinced me to leave a review.

When a long-standing customer calls to report suspected fraud, that should take priority. Instead, I encountered broken systems, endless loops between the chatbot and customer services, and a process that made two simple tasks—reporting fraud and paying a bill—far harder than they should ever have been.

After more than three decades with Vodafone, I never thought I'd say this, but unless things improve dramatically, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

my experience so far is they are the worst network ive ever encountered. the service is abysmal. cant get 5g 4g+ is pathetic, a 10mb download is a pipe dream. constantly on 2 bars of signal, it's honestly starting to stress me out. what puzzles me is they merged with three and share networks and yet three was far far better. spoke to the chat agents several times now to complain and just offer me the same generic crap every time. put airplane mode on yada yada. save yourself the stress and avoid these clowns.

Vodafone Home Broadband…

I've been a Vodafone Home Broadband customer for a couple of years and, until recently, the service has been reliable. However, over the past week my broadband has been dropping out repeatedly, making it extremely frustrating to use.
Since last Thursday, I've spent hours on the phone speaking to five or six different advisers. Each one has told me they can't see any fault with the router or the line, yet the problem continues. To rule out issues within my home, I've replaced the Ethernet cable, changed the power outlet, moved my Wi-Fi extender hubs further apart and rebooted all the equipment, but nothing has resolved the intermittent disconnections.
Given that the service worked perfectly for years and the issue has only recently started, I strongly believe the router itself may be faulty. Unfortunately, Vodafone seems unwilling to investigate this possibility or provide a replacement router, despite the obvious disruption this ongoing issue is causing.
Customer service has been polite, but having to repeat the same story to multiple agents without any progress is disappointing. I simply want a stable broadband connection and a provider that takes persistent faults seriously.

As a victim of severe financial abuse…

As a victim of severe financial abuse this was the worst of 30 companies to deal with and effectively have forced me to continue paying for my abusers airtime, unable to access the account or stop him continuing the abuse. Fca complaint ongoing- avoid like the plague.

Vodafone what the hell is going on

Vodafone what the hell is going on? On the western edge of London I randomly stop having signal out on the street and the last few days from writing this (19.6.2026) my signal just disappears and I can’t use my phone if not on WiFi. Even in my home where I didn’t have issues before. Signal coverage has been an issue for years for me. I would go to Kensington Gardens and would not have signal whatsoever. I know it’s not my phone because I had to get an eSIM that gets me choose a provider and that works as long as I choose something other than this stupid provider. I can’t wait to escape this horrible, horrible service. There is no person I don’t meet that I don’t tell them to never choose Vodafone and after the last few days this has now become my life purpose. Fix your system or please God lose all your customers.

it has been absolutely the worst…

it has been absolutely the worst network i have ever chosen. i regret the time i chose to switch to vodafone last year it has hardly been a year actually and it proved why it is the worst network service out there. using vodafone is equivalent to not using any network at all as it does not work 99% of the time it is srsly the worst choice i have made in my entire life. Flings are better than this fukedup network. it reminds me off all the one sided crushes as it is only u there is nothing from the other side like their network it is only u wishing to get the bars but they are just not there. and then when u ask the customer service to fix this they gaslight you to the max and wtf is the concept of having to be connected to net to be able to use there app, its as if they know there network won't work anyway so don't leave a way for the user to fix anything like wow if being useless had a competition you would win all the positions and awards vodafone. never use vodafone like neverrrrr
and for a fact i have their "unlimited data" pack, more like unlimited no data pack
